- In a game filled with bizarre moments (particularly on special teams) Leonard Williams emerged as the standout player of the game once again. Williams delivered a blocked extra point, a pick-six, and critical sacks to help secure a Seahawks victory. Mookie Alexander of Field Gulls joins the show to talk about the biggest comeback win of the Geno Smith era. However, Geno and the offense will need to clean up their act moving forward, particularly with their goal-to-go offense, where questionable play-calling and execution nearly kept the Seahawks from getting the comeback win.

At this point it's negligent on the staff and front office for not getting rid of Dee Williams. Can we just get somebody out there who can catch the ball?
Ok but a win is a win! 🥇✨
Always better!
I like mookie! Would be good to see more of him!
11:30 good ass reference Mookie! I 'member
OL keeps improving & 12s humming. Gr8 wen u win from 7 - 21 down at nearly half-time. Baby It's a great win. Brave and resilient. Mentally tough. With big cat playing his best ever ball. With spoon on fire. Jsn turning into Jerry rice 2.0. yep that was cool for 12s but sad to see a great hof QB struggle like that.
Geno settled old scores and it was good to get the monkey off his back. He finally has a positive memory of the NY met field. Comeback King came back again. Keep praying 12s as miracles happen. Look at Prez 47, prayers of voters saved him from 8 shots in Butler PA.
Al'GO' Hawks!!!
Leonard Williams HOF.
Let's start with a DPOTY in '24 !!!
Hahaha, it's one week at a time..
Another question: does Grubb deserve to finish the season out as OC? Passing game is the only thing that kind of works and Jake Peetz is the passing game coordinator.
Yeah, let just fire coaches before they've even finished a year, so we can end up a poverty franchise like the Browns or the Jets that just have a never ending revolving door of coaches.
We have a first year head coach and first year OC, and are currently in first place of the division.
I swear First Take and ESPN have turned all sports discourse into wild, emotional over-reactions. As exhibited by all these takes looking for heads to roll on a team exceeding expectations.
@Hvarsighted dude this has been building up for the whole year. He's doing the same stuff again and again. The goalline play calling -- on both goal lines -- is just unforgivable.
@@boeklo1251 Not even a full season is too small of a sample size to judge a coach on. Coaches only get fired in their first season when things are a complete disaster. And again, the Hawks are in first place of the division and doing better than anyone expected them to before the season began, so it is an over-reaction to think we are anywhere near that point.
Whose to say that whoever they would bring in would be any better than Grubb? Then are we going to fire that guy in the middle of next season too if he isn't any better? I'm not saying Grubb is the guaranteed answer going forward, just that giving up on coaches so quickly tends to not be the way that successful franchises are operated in the league.
@@Hvarsighted I respect your take, but I must say that I really hope we have a new OC NEXT season. All things considered.
Go Hawks😊
@@Hvarsighted just like anybody who could catch the ball would be better than Dee Williams, anybody who could run a normal NFL offense would be better than grubb at this time. This guy seems to be actively opposing the strengths of the roster.
