Geno renewed contract is a must. What QB will be a free agent that's better than Geno? What QB will be available where the Hawks will be picking in the draft is better than Geno? There aren't any, any Geno's physical abilities are that of someone younger, age is not a real issue at this point.
Salk is such a dickweed. He just love's interrupting people and has absolutely terrible takes on all sports. He's the kind of guy that talks to hear himself talk.
If Genos contract expired at the end of this season maybe. No reason to resign with him under contract through 2025. Could also franchise him in 26 if necessary. Who knows who is available in the draft 2 years from now and Geno freezing taking terrible sacks has not instilled a lot of long term confidence.
@zerolowerbound5855 valid points about drafting two years from now. But, Geno freezing, I don't see that. If in the pocket collapsing, again throw away could be intentional grounding, or a forced error resulting in a pick. What about the 4th and 6 throw to JSN? He's had countless plays that resemble that one.
@@lannybackes1053 Geno has moments of brilliance mixed with terrible plays. Some of his decisions and throws have been so good. But he also misses easy plays. The goalline stand where he missed the TE on 3rd down last weekend stands out in my mind. Then took a 15 yard sack on 4th down. Maybe you can blame the OC, but Geno has to play better in those situations. 13TDs to 12INTs is not great. If he wants another year added to his contract which lowers his 2025 cap hit from 38.5M to something on the high 20M range I would support it. But not a long term big money extension
It’s possible that the Seahawks defense has a bunch of “unsung” heroes on it. Talent wise these boys are about 6 to 8 deep with possible pro-bowlers. Of course there will be no way to prove this until they start playing to their potential. The ceiling on this defense is unreal. Saying this, they will have to win 4 of their last 5 games and ultimately go 11-6 for this team to start getting noticed.

So Sataoa didn't miss a single blocking assignment? He didn't get hit with 2 penalties? I get that PFF scores can be off but they're not based on nothing. He played well but he also made mistakes which is totally expected for a first start. PFF grading is mainly based on did he hit his blocking assignment. It doesn't necessarily look at 2nd level blocks or things he did in excess of his primary assignment. PFF scoring should be taken with, as most things, a grain of salt. He had a mixed outing. Even his coach said his start was rocky and then got better as the game went on.
Note: Everytime Seattle in shotgun, they pass 76% of the time. Every time geno under center they pass 26% of the time. They are telegraphing the plays. Grubb is messing up. Grubb, the oline coach, and rb coach just came from college coaching. They need to get with the NFL program quickly
We have a star ⭐️ studded secondary. Tariq Woolen, Love and Witherspoon bare ALL potential pro bowlers. Add Coby Bryant to this list and we might have 4 pro bowlers in this secondary. At LB we have a lot of talent.
Laumea grade was low because he was a short-armed for an OT. Those fail. As a guard he would have a much higher grade. Bryant is the same. As a CB his grade was low. But as a safety it would have been much higher.
We aren't playing anybody really great, let's see if we beat anybody.. our special teams especially coverage and returner Williams #33 is trash, he doesn't secure kicks and bad things happen
I can understand this question if they had been playing at a high level all season, but they haven't! A few good games doesn't make them elite! If they keep up the level of good play through this season and into the next season then the question may have merit? 🤔
Congratulations to Geno. He didn’t throw an interception last game! He did for the past 5 games in a row. Freaking ridiculous. And his 18th QBR ranking speaks volumes.
That’s not his game which is weird saying that about a football player. He reminds me of Robinson Cano I feel like he’s not always locked into the game but his athleticism is elite.
@@waynekirshner7155 His coverage skills are not good enough to compensate for his cowardice. Defensive players tackle. No exceptions. Or get him off my team.

The qb should be the reason you win a game or 2 that you shouldn't but should never be the reason you lose a game! He is not a leader he is a pouter and every INT in the redzone is worth 5 million and he has 3 for sure so right now I got him making 35 mil a year if we win the division it goes to 40 and 5 mil Xtra if he takes us to the championship game

Geno is just a decent QB and he's under contract for another year. Geno has a lot to prove
Dope hoodie Brock. G0 Dawgs and Hawks
I love Geno, touchdowns however correlate to wins. We need more touchdowns.
Great work, thank you! Would love to see a Witherspoon video!
good report
Is is reasonable to expect Geno to have more interceptions than other elite QBs because he is throwing the ball more than anyone else?
Yes and with a bad o line. But overall he's playing well this season
Mike will have as much time as he needs to attend to his wife and their first born. We got Coach Frazier to fill in while Mike is gone.

The other thing is if they lose because the offense can't pull their weight, it'll reflect poorly for the defense. It isn't fair but is what it is
They won’t win against the Packers and Vikings. It will all come down to the game in LA. The NFL will make sure that happens…..
