Thanks so much! I kept seeing it everywhere as well so I thought I would try it. Thinking what would happen if I made shape masks and then the marble marks. 🤔
@@MixedMediaArtByTrinathat would be interesting….DO It! I meant to get out to the shop today and try yesterday’s technique with the ink marks on the gel plate but my book haul from the library’s sale HAD to be dealt with!
Was i the only one who went “noooooo way!!” at 14.04?! That is so cool. So glad i found your channel, i’ve yet to entirely find my groove with my gelli plate but i think i may be about to!!
Love your asthetic! So I understand, you used gel medium to transfer the words onto the paper? Cool techniques, I don't have a favorite area, just love the gentle motion and subtle color. I hope you show us what you're going to do with the remaining pieces painted with the marbles.
Hey Charlotte. A gestural mark is simply a mark that you make in a free flowing manner with spontaneity. It can be a reaction or an impulse. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching. 😍
Love this technique! You are a wizard at creating texture Trina! What is the advantage of the dry erase tape vs painters tape? Do you just cut the edges of the tape to create a more organic shape?
Hey Robin, I like the dry erase tape because it’s reusable, easy to cut into shapes and it sticks without tearing the paper. I do use painters tape when I want to create a border around the piece. Thanks for watching! 😍
Anyone in the UK needing marbles, after much research i found them in The Works for a quid per small bag. 😊
Love this! I had to buy a pack of 30 from Amazon. 😍
I’ve seen this technique over at Catherine Rains channel…very unique. Love it combined with the text! Nice work!

Thank you! I’m planning to use the other papers in upcoming videos. I really like the marks that I created. ♥️
🤔 Great minds think alike, my Dollar Tree didn’t have Any Marbles this week 😝 👏🏻💕🙏🏼
Awesome! Marbles are hard to find. 😬

Fantastic! I love this piece and I love your technique...
@@patanderson6602 thank you!
Trina, learn something new everytime I watch your videos. Can you explain what a gestural mark means? Thanks.
