I did a quick collage session using Gelli printed papers all from the same session. I included a paper that I pulled off the plate that had a build up of paints. All the colors from my printing session. I wasn't sure that would work but I was loving that pull and decided to make it the feature in this collage.

I love this piece, Susan! I appreciate your thinking aloud about placement and why you place something. I love the organic shapes of the white and black figure on the left and the black figure on the tissue paper. Do more!
Thanks for watching. I have some new videos planned on collage. I like the random collage work. Not much planned and anything can happen.
I see a giraffe and some kind of giant bird . Love this! 💙

You're very welcome!
This was SO full of good information! I loved watching you place and replace pieces before committing with gel medium. Great final piece too.
Thanks. I was a little out of my comfort zone on this type of collage. I want to do more.
I like the deli paper from Amazon.
Yes, I'm obsessed with it.
@@SusanCliftonArtist Is that the MGFar sail one?
I love the texture of the Mulberry paper♥️

Thank you. I enjoyed this video very much. You express your creative thought process so well. I have had three canvases that I want to do something like this on for the last two years. I’m almost ready.😅
Thanks, Debbie. Glad to have you here. Just do it. And then share it with me.😎

Thank you so much or showing us how the gelli prints can be used to make a collage. The prints are so much fun to make ( I have just started, but can see that it is not enough). I want to sell collages!
Go for it.
Up close and personal look at how to see colors and shapes. I have learned to slow down and look more carefully at how I place my pieces just watching you think it through. And, yes, your colors are on fire.
Thanks for sharing. I'm so happy that my viewers are getting value from my videos. 😎
Thanks.
Thanks again. 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks. 😎
Beautiful colors and papers. I wish there were torn edges.
I sometimes do that. 😎
Susan I love watching you work , I have a couple of gelli plates ,I love making collage , and your a wonderful artist , I copy you every chance I get , I hope you don't mind , because your very good ,my name is Linda Bailey I'm from Corpus Christi Texas , I know your on Florida ,but we can be friends , every since I've been doing collage you've been helping me a lot ,I just thought I would introduce myself to you , you have a friend in Texas !
Hello, Linda Bailey from Texas. Welcome. To copy is the best form of flattery, so they say. Keep it up and you will start to have a style of your own. Experiment.
I have used tissue paper
Don't you love it?
Beautiful colors!
Thank you
Beautiful! How did you finish the edges of your canvas?
I painted the edges black
Where did you get that tool you used to burnish the papers?
It's a Princeton Catalyst Wedge. I love it. It's made of Silicone so it's flexible and doesn't tear the papers. I get them on Amazon. amzn.to/43su5Ni
Lovely piece but very irritating music, I put you on mute I'm afraid which is a shame
There are only 2 videos that have the loud music. It was an equipment issue. I hope you try my other videos. Thanks for watching.
I find the music very serene...goes well with Susan's soft voice.
