So great The band played very well; so much tightness but with a lot's of improvising... The singer is really singing so so fine and with his whole heart out there... I'm just grateful to have seen them play (for me?) live. Thanx!!!
One of THE GREATEST CONCERTS EVER. AND... it's (hopefully) preserved on TH-cam FOREVER. Adam was at the top of his frontman game here and Counting Crows as a whole was EL FUEGO!
So in the Commercial Breaks after Goodnight Elisabeth. You can hear the intro of Children in Bloom. It wasn't played on TV and then in another commercial break. Wiseblood can be played after HYSML and like Children in Bloom. It was not played either!
But I really love the acoustic setting in the show where they strip it back. Very kind of folk laid back versions of Catapult. Mr. Jones & Omaha. Catapult pretty much an awesome live performance when it's played electric or acoustic. But very good dynamics of the acoustic set that they did in 1997.
Where did you get this to upload ? Is this available on DVD out there or something ? I still have this recorded off tv on VHS but this is the 1st I've seen it in something that has better video quality. Thanks.
That's the best part of the live performance! Are you even a fan at all? It is awesome when he weaves a new fresh take on one of his songs. I'm taking my wife and daughter to see them next month(I'm holding them hostage that night😅) and if all the songs sound like they did on the record then I will be disappointed.
@@boog91174 we just saw them two weeks ago, we had a serious thunderstorm roll through and it delayed the show by a few hours, but naturally they had to open with Rain King
Hello, would you mind if I posted some songs on my channel? I will give credits and leave the link. I'm in love with the band and I've been looking for this unforgettable show for years!!! I finally got it, thank you very much! 🙏🥳🤩Greetings from Brazil.(Sorry from my english..)

Didn’t know how good we had it in the 90’s
How refreshing is it to see a crowd devoid of cellphones.... those were the days.
@nikki3248 only thing is there was video cameras and lighters
I remember seeing this on MTV in 1997 and I've been looking it on TH-cam for years, thank you for uploading!

Wow must have been looking for this only a few months ago and it wasn't here then. Fantastic. TY.

I missed this when it aired and am so happy to have found this. Thanks for the upload.
Truly an awesome gem, an awesome setlist from 1997 MTV Ten Spot, really spot on.

Can you tell me anything about me? One thing you'll rember
It drives me nuts when Adam messes with his own songs, he’s so talented and so frustrating
