Adam is an incredible singer and performer of musical poesy. He's there in the moment and never does this song the same way twice because he's recounting an experience which is real and viewed by him in the moment of recounting it. This is Art, not a canned commodity.
That breakdown on Round Here... we all know the song, but it's almost as if a new song is writing itself on the spot and Adam is just taking us along for the ride inside his head as the story unfolds... and we don't know the specifics but somehow we understand it completely anyway. It takes me to another beautiful world. I love this band!
Been a fan for so many years. Saw so many concerts live. But I keep coming back to this one. Wish I had been there. Always makes my heart swell listening to Codfish Hollow Barn concert!

Adam, I understand your affliction. Sometimes I tell myself I am the only one. But when I listen to your words, your conviction, I cry, and I know that I am not "damaged", or even damned for that matter. The energy you channel when you are creating your masterpieces gives me hope. Sometimes life itself-other people- words spoken (or not), are enough to keep me locked inside the place I refer to as home for days at a time. I don't completely understand this affliction. I call it hyper-sensitivity. Thank you for allowing me to see that there is SOMEONE out there who is hoping to find what I AM.
they need to do like dave matthews band and release certain shows like this like they do on trax. the public should have access to this. so good. they d make money and we d get great shows to download.
Just saw CC last night outside at the Biltmore in Asheville. Fuckin' A... serious, serious musicianship. And for those of you complaining about how they rearrange their songs, I'm sorry for you... really, I am. Now I just have to find a version of "Sessions" on vinyl...
I've been a fan of theirs since the late 90's, sometime after their 2nd album had been released. I've seen them 3 times so far, all in Manchester, and they've been great every time - which isn't a surprise given how fantastic a live act they are. Last saw them in 2014 and I'm desperate for them to return to the UK, specifically Manchester.

I kinda agree.. I've been listening since I was 9 in 93 too. I got tickets for tomorrow night at Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh. I hope my mood changes between now and then.
+A boy named Sue “ZQ” I am a fan of the music they wrote. So they should perform it like that. Round here, at the beginning for example. It sound like a cover band. Kust my opinion.
Folks complaining about the changes in arrangement probably have no idea of the Crows Deadhead roots and have probably never heard the Dead, and should probably not be considered fans as such. Or, they should just stick to bands that deliver stale, stagnant shit and not be in on the jam band situation, anyway :)
