Excellent review mate👍 Unfortunately in ROTJ movie and also with 501st Legion, the nose part is bare, flush grey and the molded parts underneath are actually just grey plastic too, no wash or weathering. So Hasbro to be fair have done an exact copy and I think they knocked it out of the park😘👌👌
I’d love ATAT Driver helmet next, another classic - god knows when we’ll get it though, or the figure in tvc 🤷♂️
I always thought the protruding visor was a strange thing to put on a scout helmet. It must eliminate any peripheral vision off to the sides, something important if you are wizzing through a forest at high speed. Nice looking helmet though.
Interesting point, I suppose it could be to focus attention on what’s ahead. Travelling at those speeds you may want all your focus on what you’re heading towards, a small distraction in the corner of your eye could be costly.

This is probably my favourite Black Series helmet. I could be very tempted to get this.
I've seen a couple of starwars helmets in my local HMV store vader and stormtrooper with a yellow stripe down the middle and along the bottom of the helmet when I went on Wednesday morning
Might need to pick this up. My two favorite troopers are the snow trooper and the biker scout

15:00 The vents on the battery cover aren't supposed to match teh ones on the opposite side... It's something that bugged me in the film as a kid too!

Seems like something could go over the “mouthpiece”. Honestly it would drive me nuts and I’d have to make something for it. Still really nice though.

I wonder if you bought some 1" sound barrier maybe even 2" and put it in the front of the helmet to try and block your voivce so u can only hear voicr throuhgbth the helmet
i think you need to go down the rabbit hole and research the original props. some of the things you find weird and offputting are amazingly accurate reproduction details.
Amazing looking helmet. Not something I'm in a position to buy myself,but I do really appreciate the sculpt and the look of it. I agree,an AT-AT driver's helmet would be great. Myself,I would personally choose a Vader helmet or original "A New Hope" Stormtrooper helmet. Great video as always, and nice to see something different from the normal 👍

Same for me. I always wanted a trooper helmet next to my darth vader helmet from the kenobi series. This helmet looks better to wear than most of the others. Better in terms of not moving all the time.

@@novadarkknight9135 You are correct. I just opened the package and put it on. I have a med-lrg head and this fit perfectly. Not as wobbly as my Storm Trooper. I really love the way it opens in the front as well. So glad I purchased it.

Only fault I find with this gorgeous helmet is that when you have lid open the helmet feels top heavy and starts to slide forwards.
Like you mate it’s going on display only.
Only person we saw in canon with lid open is Ezra in Rebels show when he was in Scout Trooper disguise.
The Empire scorned any trooper of any kind who had part or whole of their helmet off when on duty - a big no no😁👍

Pretty sure the original has two different style grills on the back, you just rarely get to see it in camera. It's definitely a weird design decision but that's seemingly how the original helmets are.

Thanks for the comprehensive look at this, Nick! Especially since they aren't even available for order over here in the states yet. It looks pretty good, but I can't wait to compare it to my high-end EFX Collectibles version. I see in your review that there are already some fairly significant differences. And for the Scout Troopers, the two grills on the back are different like that, so they are accurate on this helmet. Nicely done, sir!

Such an awesome helmet. I don't understand why Hasbro hasn't bothered fixing the voice changer in it. It's such garbage. Surely there's a cheap fix to make it sound correctly. 🤘💯🍺

Yeah it’s the wrong way 😂 I did it the exact same way as you at first, basically the straps of the chin piece go under the chin so you don’t see them at the front of the chin, you will see it in the instructions picture (side shot, visor up)

Thanks for the review! That plain plastic plate area above the mouth piece does irritate me a bit, but I think the rest of it is plenty awesome enough to make up for it. Gonna have to get this one, too good of a design to pass on.

Hasbro knocked it outta the park with this helmet! I love it, and the front mouth grill is accurate to the movie helmet so are the back vents. Have you never seen the actual movie prop?

Crazy that you are able to get this in the UK, whilst here in the US it still isn’t available for preorder. I have the New Image Props Biker Scout helmet and it’s awesome 👏. I’m hoping that Hasbro finally get around to producing a Tie Fighter helmet or an AT-AT Driver one ☝️.

Hi Nick absolutely fantastic helmet will definitely pick this up.. Oh Regards to the the plain part of the mouth piece, it is actually movie accurate. If you Google pics from Endor scene, it is seen to be plain as well just the line going across like the black series. So hasbro actually nailed the entire helmet!
The snout is accurate but I wouldn't say they nailed it. There's quite a few things that are inaccurate on this helmet.

In the movie the back of the helmet actually looks exactly like this and for some reason the rims don’t match so it’s actually mostly movie accurate
