@ Nahh, instead in reality tall individuals don't know how to fight couse no one's even dared to fight them in the first place and second their reaction speed is slow and slow fighting movement and not to mention that their huge figure is very difficult to move so yeah pretty easy target to attack in any combat or War and I don't know how a heavy target can survive in forest, desert, tropical island in any Survival situation it's very bad news for big individuals in this situation.

IRL costumes are difficult to pull off, because we are used to seeing them in films wherein the lighting, camera angles, etc are precisely controlled. This Vader costume was definitely as good as it is possible to be in such a venue.
@@fentanaly That isn't my point. I'm just saying that even the best costume can look kind of cheesy when IRL, because without controlled angles and lighting all their flaws become apparent. As an example, I saw the actual screen used Vader costume in a museum exhibition many years ago. Up close, it looked terrible. They only built it to look good enough on camera. In an IRL setting it would have looked terrible....nowhere near as good as the one worn in this video.
The fact that the person in the costume is a tall, well-build person just makes this cosplay so amazing. Darth Vader in every depiction is not just threatening with his mask, voice and the fact he's Darth Vader, but also because he had just this sheer physically imposing presence

Something I don't think is talked about is how large Anakin was before he became Vader. He was a chiseled 6'2-3" son of a slave, born and bred to work until he died. His body wasn't even fully developed by the time he became Vader. It makes sense that with the cybernetics he would be roughly 7ft and brutally strong even without the force.
First Darth Vader cosplay I can´t deny being the best I´ve ever seen. He´s tall af and the costume is so damn original ( his gloves are not 100 % perfect but who cares actually?! ). He´s worthy!!

Suprisingly, my father used to work at Disney as darth vader. He always enjoyed being a iconic figure and they even let him keep the suit once he decided to call quits.
That feels oddly generous for Disney. I imagine that either means the suit needed replacing anyway or the suit is tailor made for the performer so it's not like they can just hand it to the new guy.

The thing I love about Darth Vader is that almost everyone recognizes him and is like “Omg it’s Darth Vader!”. If you look through the entire video you can see many people doing that and getting wide eyed. He’s on a totally different level as a popular character Edit: That’s also a great cosplay, a very nice job on the costume.

Making a good cosplay requires having a physique according to the character you want to replicate. Unfortunately too many people are unable to accept this simple truth.

Teenagers and shorter adults pull off cosplay all the time, it’s just Darth Vader is not the kind of character that’s easy to pull off while being on the shorter side.

All of Pietts failures were outside of his control for the most part, something Vader acknowledged and understood....

Basically, Vader is just stoic 100% of the time, and the most physical expression you see from him is sometimes pointing a finger. He never expresses anything with both hands at once though.
Imagine: you’re at Megacon, you’re chilling with your friends having a nice conversation, and everyone around you turns in awe. It takes a second more for your friends to notice, and longer for you because of how focused you are on the conversation. You look at them when you realize they are no longer answering, and follow their gaze as DARTH FREAKING VADER walks past you

I once rented a Darth Vader suit for an Argentinian Tango costume ball in Paris, France in February 2018. Leaving home to walk to the métro, riding the métro, walking to the venue, being & dancing in the venue, all of that in silence, was FANTASTIC, ALL the people were in AWE and taking selfies, no lady tango dancer could resist to the Dark Side, the best EUR80 spent in my life, worth every cent and every second of it. We all love Darth Vader, we all wanna be like him!!!

While it would have never worked if he was 5’9, a good cosplay doesn’t have to be limited by your height. Teenagers and shorter adults pull off cosplay all the time, it’s just Darth Vader is not the kind of character that’s easy to pull off while being on the shorter side.

I once rented a Darth Vader suit for an Argentinian Tango costume ball in Paris, France in February 2018. Leaving home to walk to the métro, riding the métro, walking to the venue, being & dancing in the venue, all of that in silence, was FANTASTIC, ALL the people were in AWE and taking selfies, no lady tango dancer could resist to the Dark Side, the best EUR80 spent in my life, worth every cent and every second of it. We all love Darth Vader, we all wanna be like him!!!

I forgot to tell that, as I was walking home at 0300, and there were oc no more métros left, every single terrace bar was in awe, many people would rush in for pictures and offer pints (I was still *not talking at all*, only hand and body gestures à la Darth Vader, to keep in character), cars passing by would honk, and nearly 50% of the ppl passing by in their bicycles almost had accidents by just looking at me.
