Beren and Luthien should be known more than romeo and juliet for me the greatest love story ever. I wish we had a tolkien universe in movies of everything that happened in the first and second age, like the Marvel universe.
Long story short ; the girl put Morgoth asleep, the guy stole one simarils, wakes up morgoth doing so , they flee, caught by a werewolf who eat the hand of the guy with the simaril. Saved by a Valar dog, they flee and get revenge later, finding the simaril in the stomach of the beast.

There was a way that Sauron could have won. Huan is prophesied to be killed by the greatest wolf that ever lived. All Sauron had to do was put him into sleep with a spell or simply incapacitate him. Similar to the Witch King. He was killed by a woman, not a man, but he still got beaten by Aragorn and forced to flee back in Weathertop. Why can't the bad guys take advantage of loopholes?
and they said tolkien never did good female characters ... bruh imagine if amazon would have told this story instead of having a imaginary girl warrior boss galadriel . everyone would have like that but nooo the only way to have a female character in 2022 is if they are aragorn with tits
Evil cannot create, it can only corrupt. But in all seriousness is because they are bad writers that lived in this current society that tries to shove down our throats that men and women are the same and equal (we're not equal but instead complement eachother beautifully) and because good writers weren't hired for rings of power or the witcher or any other new series. The writers hired were mediocre or plain bad ones that would further an agenda that they get paid to do, simple as that. So do not despair friend, shun these people and their lack of integrity when you see it and rejoice in the fact we still have such wonderful books (and now videos courtesy to the team at Wizards and Warriors) to enjoy!
You should read The Shibboleth of Fëanor if you actually don’t think that Galadriel is a warrior badass. It’s almost hilarious how people run their mouth without actually having read what Tolkien actually wrote. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That Moment when the Heroes sing Satan himself into sleep and just friggin' nab a Jewel out of his crown. And some People say Tolkien's Lore is boring. Also, Sauron. No wonder he rarely fights himself. Whenever he does, he ends up getting his ass kicked.
That is boring. If your story is all about singing it's not exactly riveting. There is a reason that the only conversation about Tolkien at conventions dedicated to his works are about if the men in his stories actually identify as chicks
To be fair, Sauron wasn't the greatest wolf that ever lived, so the prophecy was against him. Not to mention that Lurien placed a spell on him before his fight with Huan. And while he got defeated at the end of the Second Age, he nonetheless managed to take both Gil-galad and Elendil with him.
they wouldve had much more content to base themselves on as well. They took so many liberties in RoP I'll only watch season 2 because they announced different writers that would apparently stay truer to the source material.

For Lúthien wove two themes of words, of the sorrow of the Eldar and the grief of Men, of the Two Kindreds that were made by Ilúvatar to dwell in Arda, the Kingdom of Earth amid the innumerable stars. And as she knelt before him her tears fell upon his feet like rain upon stones; and Mandos was moved to pity, who never before was so moved, nor has been since.
Man, oh man. The Silmarillion is full of fragments like this: pure sadness, pure joy, pure epicity.... Tolkien´s work is beyond perfection, eternally grateful to him, he will never be forgotten (despite Amazon or any other bullshit efforts).
Dogs are pure loyal beasts
Tolkien did love his eagles ex machina. But my gosh what a story.
Can you do a video on the fallout series
I see that the eagals were very useful before Fellowship of the Ring
Yeah, they have a big role in The Hobbit too.
Another great audiovisual, thank you!
Absolutely one of the most fantastically beautiful and epic journeys in middle Earth. They did the absolute impossible and it goes to show you how beautiful Luthien was too, even Morgoth lusted for her. Thank you guys so much for covering this 👍
By the sundering seas between them lay and yet at last they met once more…
Damn, I got waterfalls coming out of my eyes.
Make a snow elf documenetry from elder scrolls gaming franchise
This video was a fun one
Just so cool !
From 11:40 / this is a soundtrack from some film or game? I recognize it, but cannot recall.. :( | Great video btw.
Beren and Luthien should be known more than romeo and juliet for me the greatest love story ever.
I wish we had a tolkien universe in movies of everything that happened in the first and second age, like the Marvel universe.
I hope they make it a movie one day from someone who loves the lore
"Hmmm my protagonists are in quite the pickle... I guess I will send the eagles in again."- Tolkein
Beren and Luthien was written before The Lord of the Rings.
And long ago they passed away passed away in the forest singing sorrow-less.
All of your videos are incredible, but this series on the First Age/War of the Jewels is the absolute best!
Cool, but in the animation, Beren seems to have grown his right hand back, when he gives the silmaril to Thingol :)
Is there a place where we can access/buy your maps/the maps you use? The coloration is so helpful!
Tear jerker
"How Morgoth was defeated by Huan" would be the more accurate title.
I cant wair for new Star wars stories
Tomorrow!
Nice
Long story short ; the girl put Morgoth asleep, the guy stole one simarils, wakes up morgoth doing so , they flee, caught by a werewolf who eat the hand of the guy with the simaril. Saved by a Valar dog, they flee and get revenge later, finding the simaril in the stomach of the beast.
great video!
All hail Huan, the goodest of bois
Can you make a video about the Wheels of Time?
Planned!
@@WizardsandWarriors Thank You.
9:00 "returned luthien to his father" mistake i think you meant "her" father.
dresden files!
Why is the artstyle of every series so different? I enjoy the lord of the rings one alot more than the warhammer fantasy 3d animations.
Try 3 of asking the channel to ( for April fools) cover the paintball war from community
14:04 Why does one of the banners have a swastika?
I thought I was the only one who noticed that LMFAO! In ancient times it meant peace so maybe Tolkien used it in that way.
@@Skye0013 I have concerns
@@lasttarrasque6223 just checkout throughout a lot of history there are swastikas, not meaning what Nazi Germany intended. Manily i know from Hindu and Slavic murals
Because it doesn’t. 🤦♂️
Humans r soo greedy and dumb 🤣🤣 u telling me he was next to the devil and won but got greedy with his love in literally danger 🤣🤣
I love it i am a big fan of the lore. Thank you guys!😍🎅
Oh sweet, my favorite show came out with this new episode. Thanks guys.
I crush all underfoot and slayed all my would be destroyers.
😉
Beren and Luthein, Tolkien’s favorite of his stories. Put Beren and Luthein on his wife and his own grave. Also Beren is the second most important character in the entire Legendarium (besides Earendil).
yes but what about Turin and tuor?
@@samanyupalthi Tuor is up there for warning and saving the people of Gondolin. Turin (if the Dagor Dagorath prophecy is true) would be most important as he, Manwe, and the armies of Ar Pharazon shall smite down Morgoth
A case can be made for Feanor as most important character. The grandfather of Celebrimbor, great uncle of galadreal. There would be no Elrond and Elros, which means no numemnor. No Elendil, which means no Aragon.
Deus ex Thorontor.
maybe i am the only one who did not know morgoth was Defeated By Beren and Luthien but the title was a spoiler for me . i wish you did not put the end result of the battle as a title
14:23 I didn't know the sons of Feonor where fascists? (The left banner.)
"It´s the power of Love!!"
Huan too op, like he got to speak, had quasi-invincibility since he was prophesied to be killed by the greatest wolf who lived.
If I could live long enough to see the Silmarillion on the big screen, I'd die a happy man.
You gonna really really old then.
😭
Huan was a real one man
and they said tolkien never did good female characters ... bruh imagine if amazon would have told this story instead of having a imaginary girl warrior boss galadriel . everyone would have like that but nooo the only way to have a female character in 2022 is if they are aragorn with tits
More like boromir with bosoms
Given the 'skills' of their 'writers', they would have still butcher her character.
Why do people say this kind of thing? Why would you want them anywhere near this theyd butcher it like they butchered the SA
Oh man, I love this.
Why did you change all the thumbnails? They are worse now.
Damn this was so sad. I need a gf.
I feel you. Best story ever.
I have one 😌
omg, check your pronunciation my dude
It’s like finger nails on a chalk board.
wrr
Wish for Stargate videos soon.
He was the tactician gothmog was for warrior
Not the lore, the other stuff
That is boring. If your story is all about singing it's not exactly riveting. There is a reason that the only conversation about Tolkien at conventions dedicated to his works are about if the men in his stories actually identify as chicks
To be fair, Sauron wasn't the greatest wolf that ever lived, so the prophecy was against him. Not to mention that Lurien placed a spell on him before his fight with Huan.
And while he got defeated at the end of the Second Age, he nonetheless managed to take both Gil-galad and Elendil with him.
@DmTelegrm-WizardsandWarriors1 Nice try. Not falling for that one.
Really don’t understand why Amazon went 2nd age 1st age is littered with legendary stuff they could’ve done anthologies
they wouldve had much more content to base themselves on as well. They took so many liberties in RoP I'll only watch season 2 because they announced different writers that would apparently stay truer to the source material.
They don't actually have the rights to the Silmarillion. They have the rights to LOTR so the show is based on appendices from that trilogy
Christopher Tolkien said the second age was the only time period he’d let be adapted.
Why are they not making a movie out of it?
Who’s “they”?
