I love my 15" mid 2012 MBPro 8 ram 750Gb drive, up graded to 1Tb drrive and now it is 16Gb ram and 2TB drive. However I finally upgraded to 16" 2021 MBPro M1 Max 32Gb ram and 2T drive.
@@spareroomtech I like big screens on the MBPros and small iPhones sad to see the iPhone mini go. I do have a 2015 13" MBPro, I thought id like it to travel better, was not the case, 2012 kinda heavy as far as people say, and WOW the 2021 16", Larger viewable screen it is this and just a hair bigger, but lite, the 2012 feels like a tank. What about those keys the feel of those 2012 keyboard keys is so good. I am afraid Clean my Mac, don't want to screw up the apple OS, im using Malwarebytes and notice some differences I don't care for. Going from HP Desk Top I was in mindset of anti virus. In 2012 when I bought my first MBPro they upsold me on Trend Micro, it caused tons of issues, apple support finally helped me remove it, all my issues went away, never ever had an issue with virus or malware. I got the malware bytes because I had a weird pop-up that seemed like infection, I got antivirus zap virus scanner, I was clean as a whistle so I shut it off then added the Malwarebytes browser guard. I personally never worried, im very apprehensive to those apps and programs.
Agreed! The 2012 MacBook Pro keyboard was excellent! What changes have you noticed with Malwarebytes? I haven't had any issues personally with Clean My Mac X, but I completely understand that. It's better to be cautious. I use both Windows and macOS and work in IT, so I share that mindset. Macs can get viruses too, and it's important to keep things secure. Most of that comes from just being safe online, not opening attachments you don't recognize, not clicking links you don't trust, etc. Malwarebytes has served me well on the Windows side for years, but I haven't had to use it much on the macOS side. I personally just use Clean My Mac X to clean up excess temp junk. But I also use OnyX for that, and if I uninstall an app, I like to use AppCleaner. I don't think I would recommend someone pay for Clean My Mac X. It's part of Setapp so if you have that then it might be worth it. But I think you're wise to be cautious and careful. That's always a good stance.
Michael, have you thought about doing a video on WPS pros and cons and what it does, my routers have the capability and I notice some devices ask reg network or WPS?
Wow, this is pretty helpful! I feel like it’s a nice option to be be able to test different apps before you commit to buying them. Or if you know you like lots of apps, it’s probably worth it.
Thanks, Tonya! Agreed. That's why I like SetApp. You get access to a variety of apps which you can install and test. You can then decide to keep the subscription to get access to everything or to cancel and only buy the app(s) you like.

Nice! That's a big jump up! I have the 14" M1 Pro, and it does everything I need it to amazingly well.

That’s a great idea! Thanks for bringing it up. That could be a good video… I may see what I can create for that topic. 😎
