Yes and no because if it's not worth it for him it might be very well worth it for you and I honestly feel that these quite aggressive "never worth it" are not really fair.

Insted of using Pure Paste - you can easily press CMD+OPT+SHIFT+V and paste without formatting

Instead of Pure Paste, if you have Alfred -> Cmd + option + C brings a huge clipboard where things are without format

Give Raycast a try, it can replace a lot as well vs Alfred
Many apps have free alternatives or even free sites

How do you make sure that the apps that your install aren't malware? (many of these apps require permissions that could be used to hack into accounts and stuff like that, how do you know these things won't happen?)
