Thank you for sharing your jack setup. I am a lady who enjoys turning a wrench on my own machine. This tip is so beneficial for me. Thank you.

Very informative. Thank you. Is the grease adapter a Polaris item?

Thanks for watching! The adapter is not a polaris item and there are several companies that make them. I have a link to the item that I use in the description if you would like this one.

The tool that you linked in your description for a general doesn't look like the tool that you are using in your video.

I see that after visiting the link. I last purchased that in 2019 so it's the same item on Amazon so maybe they updated the pic? I would probably get the same one if I had to replace it - pretty happy with it and just used it again this past September (just before my annual trip). Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any other questions.

"I'm not sure when it changed, perhaps 2019, the wheel bearings are the "shielded" type. Meaning there is a metal cover between the inner and outer races to keep water out and grease in. These will never need greasing." Your thoughts on this comment on Polaris general forum. What year is your General? Mine is a 2021 I took the rear wheels of and took the brake rotor off and went to use the bearing tool and it was plugged it wouldn't accept grease through it. Faulty tool.
In the meantime, I have ordered another one. When I pulled the rotor off the hub there is zero evidence of grease none! dryer than a bone ...could it be they are all sealed up now and they don't want you greasing them?

@@callkey That is very strange - to be honest, before I saw this tool and how it was used, I too thought the bearings were solid but learned that there is a seam where the case comes together. You can always test the tool by pumping some grease in it before inserting it - that should show if it's working properly. Afterward, you can also rotate it a couple times to 'pry' the bearing apart enough feed in the grease. My machine is a 2017 and the bearings are the same for all years (i'm been shopping for bearings as my rear ones are finally ready for replacement). I would give it another shot when you get the new tool. Good luck and keep us posted!
