My wife is open to it and we'll be doing the same this coming year - it's a bit brisk right now to throw her into it. I missed the Trek the Mac ride this year but I'm hoping to attend net year with Dan. We have a camp up there and frequent the UP so we spend a lot of time working on the cabin - need to take more time for fun trips!

Thanks for taking the time to watch! We don't have any routes in this video but in several others, we do have some routes. I am planning on going over some videos and sharing some of our favorite routes over the winter.

Thanks for watching! The drop point was in Ishpeming at a local campground. It's where we prefer to drop in that area and it's safe/inexpensive to park the truck and trailer for a week or so.

Yep, the subaru crew at the local dealership couldn't find it after days or diagnostics. This was the fix and probably not very common. I really hope it helps you out and solves the issue. Yes, there wasn't much dust on this trip with the rain which is always good! Overall, the weather wasn't too bad - we've seen worse on our trips! Thanks for taking the time to watch!

We have talked about that but if you get more than 3 rigs and 6 people, it gets more difficult to find sites and keep track of everyone. This was the biggest group that we've had and it was challenging. If you plan a trip like this, which I would encourage, start with no more than 3 rigs and see how it goes. It is really fun if you're down for camping for days along with bathing in really cold water :).

In fact, on our trip another group of UTVs irritated a property owner and they closed their gates so we had to drive around an area which was unfortunate. Hey Dirty Jak! Yes, the dust was down for sure and it was amazing UP there. I'd like to go again and see even more. Honestly, we were surprised on how much ground we didn't cover in the area - we expected to see it all in the time we had. Anyhow, we will probably go again at some point! Hi Jason! Yeah, the duramax scene was unexpected! Those guys were great. They showed us some 'shortcuts' on those trails and man, did we have a blast following them. Absolutely! There are plenty of places to shack up while riding. The place we dropped at had rooms and UTV rentals available too. We prefer to camp as we go so we can explore as much as possible and the food….i love camp food!!! Thanks for watching!

Outstanding comment, probably my favorite because you get it….completely! It’s all about the adventure and I may be biased but the Upper Peninsula has a certain magic to it. Thanks Jason, appreciate you watching! After leaving Crisp Point, you can jump on UP8 trail and follow it west, there are lots of kicker trails that lead to the beach that you can explore. As you've seen, I use Gaia for my GPS and if you have the subscription, turn on forestry roads, snowmobile trails and USFS trails - lots of things will pop up. The rest are on the west side of the two-hearted but you'll have to drop south to cross. I did just find some fun trails heading east out of crisp point toward browns lake - just take that trail west past the parking area at crisp point (can't miss it - it's the sandy area where cars shouldn't go). Browns lake is a fun are but the trails are tight so was for branches in the face. Hope you have a great time and stay tuned for the Keeweenaw trip video - I'm editig that now!

@@UTVBoondocker I use OnX seems pretty good. I did find some kicker trails that looks like it heads to shoreline but not sure if it's a big drop to shoreline or like the trail you guys had when you camped on the beach

@@jasonhenry2636 Best to explore and try it out. That's what we do when we are out and about. I have found some of the best trails are NOT the main trails (i.e UP8, UP9, etc.).

@@UTVBoondocker BTW how many miles on your General? Have you have anything major do wrong? You didn't seem to drive it hard so that's a good to make it last!

@@jasonhenry2636 just under 5k - I use it quite a bit on my property and trails of course. I treat it as good as possible, keep it clean and well maintained - haven't had any major issues so I'm very happy with it. I used to race MX so all my crazy days are complete :)

I did all 4 for safety. Because the straps are nylon, they can stretch when wet and can wiggle free. I've had one occasion where one rear came off after driving through heavy rain storm so having them on all 4 wheels is extra piece of mind. I really don't like worrying about it and stopping to check straps every hour :). Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

I haven't had this question yet and I would suggest checking which wires do what by process of elimination. The black is typically the ground and the others are most likely battery (constant power), ignition and the last wire is probably for the washer and that can be set aside for another video :). Once you get those sorted, you can use the video to guide things. Hope that helps you out and thanks for watching!

I have mine wired to a secondary battery and I just turn it on and off there. If you have it wired to the machine battery I would put a switch in between to turn it off and on.

I've been really happy with these so far. Just got back from another trip and they worked excellent. The only set back is that they are nylon and if they get wet, you gotta check the tension but it's normal. Thanks for watching Dan!

Honestly, we love to explore and I record my routes in the GAIA app. While keeping the routes, I mark waypoints for points of interest, holes and hazards, etc. I would suggest exploring any trail that looks interesting - one of the reasons we have a shirt in the store that says 'I wonder where that trail goes' - we do that a lot :). I think I just responded to another post of yours :). Again, lots of these trails are forestry roads or trails from the locals. You'll have ENDLESS trails and it will probably become one of your favorite places to ride. A buddy and myself each bought property UP there so serve as basecamps :). It's a blast. I highly suggest getting GAIA for the trails. I use a tablet mounted on my rig (you can see that setup in other videos). Be sure to get the premium subscription and use the layers I recommend - it won't disappoint. Have fun and thanks for watching!

I put it on the inside to keep water from coming in but I suppose it doesn't matter so long as it's there. As for the o-ring, I bought an o-ring box from Harbor freight and just use that when I need one. Hope that helps you and thanks for watching!

It would depend on your fan size and where the mounting tabs line up to ensure solid clearance for the mounting holes. You really need to design and build it on the bench as you go kinda deal.

Hi Coillin! The best way would be to use pulse bar connectors (amzn.to/3WBFh7V). You wire up the park wire to the red, the power to the blue (ignition) and then finish with the ground (black). The newer Generals make it easy with that pulse bar design. Hope that helps out and thanks for watching!

Drive Shaft Fix: CanAm Bulletin: TST 139861 Shaft Part Number: 705402245 Just heard last week from my local service manager that this has been replaced since and they are now working on yet another revision. I will be contacted when that is released as I still have a little rattle early on the throttle.

It’s holding up REALLY good. I just bought more to spray my truck bed. It’s tintable too so you can use different colors. amzn.to/3A3R1sa
