The coned washers for the spindle were taken off with the domed side toward the bearing at 4:23 but puts them back on with the dome side out at 14:07. Which is correct?

Rzr Service Manual says " Install rear wheel hub assembly, cone washers and hand tighten the castle nut. Install washers domed side out."
Are the snap rings specific to the machine or universal?
