I remember my gym had a daycare area for the kids and they had one of these in there. My little brother didn't want to be left alone and I wound up stuck in there with him a couple of times when I was 12 or so. They were not pleased with me when I got Quake running on it.

I loved playing Toontown in the 2000s as a kid, It's what made MMOs one of my most favourite genres. Everyone at school played Club Penguin and I felt cool not playing just some browser game. Can't believe the original game closed almost 10 years ago already.
Never had one of these computers but I do vaguely remember being fascinated by them. I used to go to the library and check out Disney PC games all the time, especially things like Magic Artist Studio and My Disney Kitchen. The Goofy skateboarding game was another favorite of mine.

This was my first PC, or another model in the same case with the same screen. I have no idea how my dad got his hands on one in the Darwin and I've never seen another before or since but I was stoked. It was a big upgrade from any PC we had owned before, and it was just for me! After a while the disc drive wouldn't open unless I hit hit the side of the tower. It ended up with a pretty big dent in the side, which felt like the milenium falcon to my child brain.
I had one of these when I was around 5, ah good memories playing the original gmod, and roller coaster tycoon 3 :)

Im a year late, but I'm thrilled that TTR was mentioned. It is a revival of TTO, but Toontown Corporate Clash is a remake that is heavily inspired by it. Both 100% safe to download and fun to play for the nostalgic children at heart :)

I legit played Toon Town when I was in my mid-teens despite being far too old for it. The minigames were just kinda fun. I had the same thing with Bin Weevils too.

Growing up as a kid having a dad that worked on computers I thought everyone had multiple computer. Even up to 2006 a lot of my friends still didn't have their own PC. Looking back I see now I evolved with the computer times. I recently got back into computers with my own 9yr old son so we have a good HP gaming PC and working on some smaller upgrades to it now.
I remember a couple libraries in Fife had these when I was a bairn. There were at least 3 I can remember seeing in Glenrothes.

I remember those times barely. We had one family PC and I think my dad had a laptop. He maybe also had a work PC but I'm not sure. That being said we had a lot of computers for just one household, which was simply a product of my mom and dad actually running a PC business. They did deals with no-name Chinese companies before it was cool to do so. In fact my PC stereo speakers that I am using in this very moment are about as old as me and I have recently tried to find the company that made them online to no avail. Some company based in Taiwan. Either way these are some good memories.

I had custom pc's my dad built back in the day, and they were always his last old pc that I got to use. I remember my first one was 98, then 2000, then xp. He didn't even let me on the internet unsupervised until I was in like 3rd grade. Knowing what I know now though, I'm very thankful to have been spared lmao

I got a demo of disney’s extremely goofy skateboarding in a cereal box back in the day and I played that demo so much that my parents eventually got me the full game
I remember once getting a kids mouth wash that came with a dental themed gamed.

You had some really good parents. My family ruined my copy of mario kart double dash and bought me a shitty bionicle gamecube game as a replacement.
Man, I remember the demo myself. It was such a fun little slice of the full game, a game I never actually got. ): But, it was still a fun thing to play even for a bit. Still remember trying to access other parts of the game that wasn't part of the demo and remember the whole "Sorry, not part of the preview!" via Goofy. Nolstagia is a powerful tool sometimes.
The bit with Goofy skating off into the briny deep reminds me of doing the same on the Silent Cartographer, in Halo, in a warthog.
This should be the PC my professor from product design uni worked on during his time at FROG Design, I must say, its a very well designed product!

I definitely remember seeing or playing "Adventures in Typing with Timon and Pumbaa" or at least I think I do. Definitely not in 2005 as I was a 2010s kid for the most part, but I feel like I came across it somewhere. My mom was an elementary/middle school teacher that always had me on typing 'games' for a few years.
Oh god I remember that adventure's in typing game. I used to play it a lot but would basically stay on the home row lessons.

That goofy skate game was the highlight of m childhood! Wasn't as easy to find a PC which could run it at that time (because nobody cared about PCs at that time) but I mean *open world Disney game* heck yeah!!!

I remember seeing this in a Mall when I was a kid and I wanted it soooo bad. I kept showing it to my parents but no luck.
I love how Madison was just exempt from that company rule that you have to work there for a certain amount of time before you can be on camera.

I mean, she certainly seems to be increasing engagement on the videos...like half of every comment section is in reference to her. So I guess good on LTT, they are trying something that seems to be working.
To be fair she was hired as community manager. Linus talked about it on a vid how it would be redundant for her to have to wait the trial period out before she could do her job.
Linus outed her on the WAN show while she was still just an applicant. Her rig reboot video is also one of the top performer LTT videos, so it makes sense to feature her.
