Dude, this is wild to see after coming across that HWPC in the warehouse back then. Props for actually finding a way to cram all of that tech into the cramped lil thing, I know how hard these are to work with. And the additional monitors, subwoofer, pads and other additions are fantastic. As mentioned over email last year, I'm really glad that Hot Wheels PC ended up finding a home, these goofy things deserve to live a new life 👍
Also what the heck, Dallas Computer Works closed? That's a shame, it was a neat little shop to visit.
Off topic but might I ask, do you believe in our Master and Lord, Jesus Christ? The Son of God?
Thank you, LGR. I really appreciate the kind words, and letting me use your footage. It really helped set the mood and give a glimpse of computer reset! I wasn't planning on making a video at the time, so I didn't film my adventure.

This is one seriously kick butt project. Might be the coolest PC thing I've ever seen. The icing on top of the whole video is you knowing that tick white smoke out of an exhaust is a sign of a blown head gasket
oh my god that was amazing. I have always wanted to do this with one of the last gen SGI machines, but even to this day, SGIs are still fairly expensive, but they had the design going for them long before standard PCs grew out of their grey and beige stage. an original O2 would be a challenge, but one of their last gen PCs might be a bit easier to do if you ever feel up to it.
I was audibly cackling when you broke out the subwoofer!!!
You definitely did the Hot Wheels PC justice with this and made it even cooler than it appeared in the old photos I've seen of it. Also loved all the little extra visual gags you threw in throughout the video. Great vid!!

It’s pretty cool that nowadays, we have actually ironed out the kinks with small form factor boards and PC’s. The hot wheels and Barbie computers were good examples of how unprepared the 90’s folks were for machines of that type. Honestly think that the first true useable small form factor computer was the Mac Mini, and since then most small form factor boards have continued that square design with huge improvements to functionality, added integration, and cooling solutions. Also nice to see you use the shucking method too! I’ve done that to get larger drives for my computers. I gutted a 8TB portable drive to put into my main rig with its other hard drives. Now I have 17.5 TB but one day I hope to boost that to 25.5TB one day.
i have never smiled so much while watching hardware modding video . Keep it up , this was awesome ..
