Hey 650ib!!!! Was just gonna comment on your video about how do you like this new bike😍 I think I need this next to my 2014 Honda interceptor 800 v4 and my bike was the first production Honda to get a factory quickshifter😉 it looks like they used the same one but probably programmed differently! I'll stay tuned for more smackdowns😁

one thing i do not believe is that how your channel subs is low , your contents are awesome and provide full knowledge , if anyone have a rc390 he can re-tune his whole bike because of your vlogs and blogs...watched every videos love it,keep going huge huge fan

Not a fan of the headlight design but otherwise the bike could be sick if the electronic riders aides are as good as the R1. We'll see in reviews. I might hold off buying the first year to let them iron out the bugs, then maybe pick up a repsol in it's second year if the reviews are good.
Would love to see what that looks like in all black.

Suzuki just announced their new 1000cc Sport bike and now Honda, which confuses with what to buy. I have a history with both of brands previously. But to be honest nothing beats the looks of the new CBR. Nothing.

I'd say the looks of the 08-09 and even 10-16 CBR1000RR beats the looks of the new CBR.

Wow, they actually made the face look good. Love the gold wheels. Sounds very pricy for a Honda.
Dont forget this is the SP model, this isnt the normal GXSR1000, R1, Ninja ZX10R aimed model, the previous 1000RR SP was already like $18k because it was kitted out with the best stuff. The normal every day consumer 1000RR for 2017 will likely be in line with the 2016 pricing.

cagednm69 I love how they specifically say "under 20,000" so its basically 19,999 probably, but it is aimed directly at competing with the R1M which has an msrp of 22k

that's the Honda HQ in Torrance, Ca... i've visited their campus before and what you don't see in the video is there is another building probably 4 times bigger than this one that has all kinds of cars and bikes from different OEMs like Mercedes, Porsche, Toyota, etc. and the engineers who work at Honda HQ can check out the cars like a library book and use them for a couple days for "research purposes"
a friend that used to work there as an engineer has all kinds of pics of himself driving all these different cars lol

Sound like what the bike needed, bit more power, less weight, and electronics to match the R1M and RSV4 RF. Always liked honda but this last few years they were too vanilla, too bland. this looks like a big step in the right direction
Actually looks better in a walkaround than in the photos! All those upgrades must add up to something good...
Glad to see Honda getting serious about their sportbike again. They have been fairly lackluster vs the competition for quite a few years.
Why need built a new bike when an old CBR is more than enough.

Oh man... So many good bikes. H2, CBR1000rr, R1M and BMW S1000R. Its insanity! I wish I could afford these 20,000 dollar bikes.

looks very good, dropped 30 lbs and added 10 hp? can't complain about that. my only gripe is not having a black frame and swingarm. maybe they will have that with an all black model

SP-2 homologation special? Damn, that probably means no RVF1000.
SP-2 homologation special will be only 500 units and they have the option of buying 2 kits.
1) Sport kit
2) Race kit. Both not street legal and will be sold to racers only. You might want to have a racing license of some sorts for proof.
The RVF1000 was scheduled for 2017 but 2017 being the 25th anniversary of the FIreblade, Honda pushed the timeline to 2018. Expected to be priced around $25-$30k.

Seats on 2017 super bikes in general are much lower. Nice accommodation I would say. Gold rims are awesome. Nice vid. However I can't wait to see it in full throttle on the road.

With the upgrades on the bike, will it however keep up with the new Kawasaki and Yamaha? Honda has been falling behind yet their motogp bikes are kicking ass. So not sure what this one will achieve.
Hayden and Van Der Mark are just behind the top contenders in most races, I believe that Hayden and Bradl will be championship contenders with this new bike, should they start the season right.
I'm hoping the same. Although that saying, I am a huge ducati fan and always want them to win but then I do love Suzuki. Always been a big fan. Even own a suzuki so I'm so hoping the new suzuki we've been teased with for so long will come in and make a huge upset!
Vengeful Rat I'm guessing they are planning on joining the party, they revealed the GSXR1000 today along with a GSXR1000R, sounds to me that they have racing in mind and not just aiming at getting the money from people that like the all out bling.

Honda was lazy in the design aspect of this bike. On side not though, that NSX, Integra and CRX looks beautiful.

This might sound petty, But I hope that both head lights work for the low beams. I'm tired of seeing bikes with dual head lights looking like one of the bulbs are burnt out. :)

I have a CBR1000rr 2004, an incredible bike and amazing look.
The CBR250rr 2017 comes close to what I expect to see from Honda to design and build.
The 250 has an amazing look, WAW!
Their CBR1000rr 2017 looks ridiculous against the CBR250rr 2017.
I can't understand why Honda makes an aggressive look for the 250 instead for the 1000.
This is totally wrong insight of Honda.
A lot of us which love/loved Honda expected something similar in looks for the 1000!
I will never replace my CBR1000rr 2004 for the 2017 model, even with all the technological gizmo's.
Honda ones again disappoints on marketing and designing the CBR1000rr.
I'll lean for another brand in 2017.

It's certainly nice to finally see a major update from Honda, but I think I'm still gonna stick to Yamaha for my next bike. Sad to say, but I think that Honda has become "too little, too late" in the sportbike market. With the loss of the CBR600RR altogether, and the long overdue update to their flagship sportbike, they just don't seem competitive anymore.
So will we see it on MC commute as well?

Always had a soft spot for the repsol blade. And was disappointed with honda for not keeping up with the pack. I hope it jumps right into the big boys band again.

great video ari but really Honda only 10 more horsepower you should put 25 more horsepower coming out of that looks like you'll be stuck in the Europeans exhaust again everything else on it sounds great but you need more horsepower
