***** I used what I could. Unfortunately I don't have the ability to see this bike in person. I know it doesn't seem like it. But this video took a lot of work. It seems like people are enjoying it too. But thanks for the feedback anyway
I have got to thank you for your attention and love of Honda motorcycles. My first bike was a 1978 CB750F Super sport and I loved it. That was 1990. Now I have a VTX1300R, a 2017 Africa Twin and a drag race custom 2007 CBR 1000RR complete with NOS. The CBR has been retired from the race circuit and I am in the process of going through the entire bike to make sure it survives another 10 yrs of my abuse. The bike won first place at L.V.S. in upstate N.Y. 10 yrs in a row with stock internals fed NOS. That speaks to the quality of that motor. Your videos have been my rain day getaway since I subbed and because of you I decided to go with Monster Fairings for the face lift. I will be telling them so as well. Your review was honest and your kit was not a freebie! WOW!! Great work that you do HeroRR as my wife just stated..."you are not getting a 2017 CBR anything" !!! Peace out and ride safe man!
I just got mine yesterday- SP-2, Holy FOOOK, what a machine, besides everything you already know, this bike doesn't cook your legs/body/face like a Ducati-Panigale, The Quick-shifter up/down is sublime!! The downshifts and "blip" are video game precise!!
My dad had two FireBlades, one from 2004 and then he sold it because my sister was born 4 years later, and then he got a second hand 2006 one and then sold it in 2014 because it was old.
It looks cooler for sure but functionally it sucks. I’ve owned an ‘06 since new and during every ride the exhaust gets sucked into my jacket, always get off smelling like a tailpipe
I'm sure it's great, but still...my 93 900rr was so RAW. It was ahead of its time. You literally sat over the front wheel. I ride a VFR now, but back in the day, 900rr was a race bike on the street...
Thanks for the overall incite on PAST honda-models my friend!!! Was nice to look back on those!!! I was one of the very FEW,who were the FIRST to buy a 2000 Honda CBR-929 when they first came out!!! MAN,back then, just the LOOK of that bike sitting on it's kickstand, looked as if it was doing WELL ABOVE the speed-limit!!! Lol. LOVED that bike ,and I definitely rode it hard here and there, and the acceleration was just ferocious on it after I added a Power-Commander and an Erion-Racing slip-on to it!!! That bike just WHIPPED through the twisties as it's "flickability" was just superb on that bike!!! Amazing machine indeed!!!
I'm watching this in November, 2020 and I am currently looking into purchasing a 2017 CBR1000RR with less than a 1,000 miles it. But not every thing I have heard has been positive, according to some the 2017 GSXR1000 has a noticeably stronger engine, with the only drawback being abrupt throttle response, that doesn't exactly inspire confidence when exiting a corner.
Your reviews are the best! In terms of format, voice clarity, logical presentation, and information...you knock it out of the park. Great job, and thank you for your efforts.
I MUST SAY IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE. but I OWN AND LOVE MY 2012 CBR1000RR and with the work I have done to it I am quite happy with it. I love my CBR and find it perfect for the street. the bikes they are coming out with these days are more than you need for having a blast on the street. Am I the only one who feels this way?
Thanks for the information. I am on my second motorcycle the CBR650F and I love it. It is comfortable and is awesome for long distance rides. I plan to keep it and in 2018 I plan to get a super sport motorcycle.
Homefront that is definitely the best years for all the super sports.. everyone asked me why I keep buying from those years...I say it's cus I love the look
the CBR 900RR was the first bike I owned after I got out of the Marine Corps. B4 that I owned a Hurricane 600. Now I have a 05 600RR and a 2012 1000RR love them both. Such better handling even without the suspension help that Kawi, susiki and yamaha puts into their POS's with a good rider the honda team would of won the Motogp since 02 easily.
I still agree with you HeroRR, the '06-'07 1000RR is still Hondas best looking year for the 1000. I'm probably a bit biased on that one, as 2007 was the last year I worked at the Honda dealership that I worked at, so I really spent a lot of time with those, plus owned an 07 600rr which I absolutely loved as well. That new 2017 fireblade does look pretty good though, I will give them credit on that one, definitely improved from the '08-'16 versions.
I love it! I love Hondas legendary red white blue and them gold forks. I bought a 04 600 RR. I order it in black with the silver, bike actually ripped. My friend had the exact bike but 1000RR I stayed with him all summer at very high speeds. My bike had a power commander and that's it, I mean I did something with the rear mud guard and directionals. Back in 86 my father bought the 250R fourtrax what a machine. I had a 125 I was 11. But I road a 85 250 R three wheeler for years. I got sick with fibromyalgia so it's all restored and in my finished basement. It's the same bike as the 86 except for a couple little things. Honda was way way way ahead of there time that bike still looks killer. My point is the fourtrax and my ATC have red white and blue with a gold swing arm, that gold grabs you it's a sweet touch.
I agree I miss the '06 and '07 1000rr look...I am still baffled as to why they trimmed the tail down so much. I love my 954rr. Holy crap it does look better than the gen before this one. Want the 250RR to come out too.
I saw it at the international bike show in Long Beach. I am not blown away. the fairings mounting screw at the top make the bike look.cheezy. For the price, I rather get the S1000RR. I rather get the 2015 model for what dealers are selling for.
A lot of riders with more money than brains/skill do not deserve stunning machines like these. Performance like this for what is relatively peanuts is amazing; equal to or better than most exotic supercars for a small fraction of the price. Honda has always been a force to be reckoned with and this bike is gorgeous. Don't really care if a bike is a tenth of a second faster on a racetrack; they are all state-of-the-art these days.
Dude you and me are cut from the same block of wood. I bought a 2000 929 Brand new pre order. It was an INCREIDBLE bike and I still miss it almost 16 years ago!!! omg how time gos... When I sold that bike I owed like 800 left on payments and got 6500... And bought a Mini van for my kids. I ALL ways said IF i can find a 2006 Yellow and Blue cbr 1000rr Low miles Mint I would buy it. That color and style is the best bike I have ever seen. But the 2015? HRC 1000 is a super awesome bike to but 14k is to much...
i still love my 04 cbr1000rr. I've road alot of different bikes and i still like this year and bike the most. But nothing wrong with buying another bike.
first time im gonna say this , as a Yamaha rider for years.. This bike is AMAZING. The new r1 is too aggresive for road driving, im so curious how this bike handles of track
Its been a while since I looked at prices of liter bikes. I remember paying $9800-10'200 out the door for a cbr900rr back in the day. But $18'000+? Its no wonder a lot of people are buying smaller machines these days. All the tech these bikes come with now(and have for a while)how many average riders are actually going to utilize it? I remember spending most of my riding in 4th gear or less on my 900rr and hated freeway riding, boring as hell actually. I liked riding in the little back road country settings and still use all of the engine. I sold it and went back to a 600..then another 600 until I eventually bought even a smaller bike and enjoyed that more than I did the supersports. I do miss having the power when you know you have it so readily available, but there was never a good time to use it. Perhaps that was mostly due to where I live and needing the right bike for the right job, but wow...the price of big bikes today...? For some reason I see liter bikes becoming a low number or sold in low numbers and smaller bikes becoming the norm. Maybe the manufacturers are seeing this as well and they figure if they are still producing large bikes, they will make them available, but at a large price to still make a profit?
i like the previous/current gen of fireblade they look sic and cute at the same time lol this one looks more fierce and like you said like the cbr600rr haha
Subbed...great and informative video. I'm looking forward to some real world ride testing before I get too excited about the Fireblade. Especially, considering the competition is going to be amazing this year, Kawasaki and Yamaha will be hard to beat with their new liter bikes this year.
You are wrong, wheels on 2017 SP are exactly the same as on 2014 SP. SP2 will have lighter Marchesini forged alloys, but the price will be different as well.
6:50 is my favorite part of this video :) Hey im here looking/gawking at an Honda bike so dont be hating. But i love my bike so damn much. Now by a show of hands, can i see who's had enough of this winter thing? o/
Hey guys, if you enjoy these type of videos then let me know by leaving a like! Thank you!! :)
Love your vids man!
There's no other Motovlogging channel that does this. You can/have filled that niche. I love it.
Mup Thanks! :) I really enjoy making these. They are a ton of work, but I honestly have more fun with these then any other videos.
***** I used what I could. Unfortunately I don't have the ability to see this bike in person. I know it doesn't seem like it. But this video took a lot of work. It seems like people are enjoying it too. But thanks for the feedback anyway
I actually thought it was a very informative video. That's for the effort in putting it together.
I have got to thank you for your attention and love of Honda motorcycles. My first bike was a 1978 CB750F Super sport and I loved it. That was 1990. Not many things on this planet, finer than a CBR Fireblade. I need this bike in my life.
I'm watching this and still waiting for the 2019 one.
Awesome video! I'm glad to find another person who shares the same love for Honda as I do. Lol!
My dad had two FireBlades, one from 2004 and then he sold it because my sister was born 4 years later, and then he got a second hand 2006 one and then sold it in 2014 because it was old.
The best self made motorcycle video i have ever seen on youtube, keep on going.
Now just for a second, imagine if this had undertail exhaust.
how would that be any different?
@@lancelotray it would look cooler in my opinion
It looks cooler for sure but functionally it sucks. I’ve owned an ‘06 since new and during every ride the exhaust gets sucked into my jacket, always get off smelling like a tailpipe
I'm sure it's great, but still...my 93 900rr was so RAW. It was ahead of its time. You literally sat over the front wheel. I ride a VFR now, but back in the day, 900rr was a race bike on the street...
I want one, this is the most exited i have been about any bike for a long time.
My 90 RC30 weighs 406 dry, titanium rods, gear driven cams. Pretty trick for 1990. Looking forward to seeing this bike in person.
Nice to see a quick history on the fireblade and indeed it looks really good
I just purchased mine and oh my word is it an amazing bike. Coming from my 01 F4i this thing feels like a rocket ship!
I’ve been more then happy with my stock 2009 600 but your videos have pushed me into big changes haha. Pretty great man. I need more 600 videos asap.
I absolutely love my 17 CBR 1000rr. Such a great all round liter bike for the street bike. Great review!
in my opinion the rev counter should never be digital .....the analogic system is more beautiful ...charming and classic....
Rodrigo Tarpinian don't agree with you really
Johonan andrew gomes kawasaki enthusiast detected ...lol
Rodrigo Tarpinian nope I like ducati's and gsxr's more than kawasaki's
Johonan andrew gomes i have a motogp limited edition suzuki gsxr...cheers mate...
Rodrigo Tarpinian awesome
So glad they came out with a new 2020 Fireblade.
Now maybe I can afford this 2017 BAD-ASS! 💯👍🏽🏍🔥
i have CBR600RR too man i love this bike, can't wait for new CBR come to Brazil.
I can't wait to see John Mc at the IoM TT in 2017, he has been keeping pace and winning on an 8-year-old bike.
If you guys want to help out the channel then the best way you can help is by sharing this video!! Thank you everyone, love you all to death!
HEROrr nice video really like it.
Have a nice day, I really like this video!
YOU DESERVE 1KK SUBS! THIS IS HOW YOU REVIEW ANYTHING!!! GREAT WORK!

Let's just all take a moment of silence to appreciate the beauty of that 92' 900R, the genisis of the fireblade.
What about the 90s vfr that bike changed my life. Wish I kept it. Selling for minimum £15:000
I'm watching this in November, 2020 and I am currently looking into purchasing a 2017 CBR1000RR with less than a 1,000 miles it. I am excited about the new FIreblade, cannot wait to testride it, as well as GSXR1000R....but I won't sell my 954RR.
Your reviews are the best! In terms of format, voice clarity, logical presentation, and information...you knock it out of the park. Great job, and thank you for your efforts.
I just saw your new Suzuki 1000 video and then watched this one. Great videos stocked full of information. Thank you!
Honda's Fireblade and Suzuki's 1996 GSX-R SRAD were the milestones in the superbike history!!!
I admire Honda for constantly challenging themselves with their bikes. I just wish Suzuki would that much effort into their M109 series.
I got the 2018 CBR 1000RR in 2019 and after 6,800miles I still love it.
2004-2005 1000rr........... I think are best lookin bikes out there
David Ramirez exactly!!!like Yamaha R1....kawasaki ninja...gsxr....and many many more!!!
SC57 was the best design. 2017 looks disformed with touring front mask.
Bad job.
love fireblades! have a 01 cbr929rr and a 99 cbr f4. amazing stuff! well done!
I used to have the 2007 REPSOL 1000 and in my opinion that was the best CBR body ever made.
Love the history segment. Very informative. Im having the sp 2015 model. Still loving it!
About time they caught up with the rest of the pack. Looks like a nice bike.
Thanks for the information. I am on my second motorcycle the CBR650F and I love it. It is comfortable and is awesome for long distance rides. I plan to keep it and in 2018 I plan to get a super sport motorcycle.
Really digging your videos man. Excellent information, without a bunch of BS.
954 is still my dream bike weirdly enough. I just love it
Dyllan Grayson I love the 954 its the same era as my 2003 RC-51
Homefront that is definitely the best years for all the super sports.. everyone asked me why I keep buying from those years...I say it's cus I love the look

i loved my 99 900rr, i broke the frame laying it down at 120 mph, i still have it, thinking about fixing it, i did 172 on it on a little 2 lane hwy
Great job on the video, you deserve credit for that.
Thank you!
Muito linda essa CBR !!!
A Honda sempre trazendo inovações surpreendentes !!!
Parabéns Honda !!!
Nice video - Can't help drawing similarities with the Panigale in terms of the front cowl, then again the VFR is styled similarly.
I like the classic look of that 900rr.
i still love my 04 cbr1000rr. I've road alot of different bikes and i still like this year and bike the most.
I had the black one from 1996, still my favorite one
I agree I miss the '06 and '07 1000rr look...I am still baffled as to why they trimmed the tail down so much. I love my 954rr. Holy crap it does look better than the gen before this one. Want the 250RR to come out too.
Nice color scheme, always loved the gold rims, totally reminds me of the classic superbikes!
Let's see what this can do next to Suzuki's all new GSXR 1000rr,because as they say,THE KING IS BACK!!!
This bike is a piece of art
I saw it at the international bike show in Long Beach. I am not blown away. the fairings mounting screw at the top make the bike look.cheezy. For the price, I rather get the S1000RR. I rather get the 2015 model for what dealers are selling for.

I might buy it just because of your video, keep it up bro
I still think that the vfr 800 is one of the most beautiful bikes ever made
Good for honda giving all the tech now.
The pic of the Blade at 1.10 is mine. Still have that bike, will never get rid of it. Looks a little different now though.
You have a beautiful bike!
i really like that they have that HRC logo on it
0:24 The 1993 Blade... still a sexy looking bike!
Good review but one note the engine is not new at all, it is the old power plant with a few small revisions cams, valves, bumped compression, etc
saving wight while adding full pack electronics is very impressive
This thing is going to be a track weapon.
I’m looking into getting a bike looking forward to seeing what kind of bike will work for me
Why do i love hondas so much
Still no fucking fuel gauge.
Brannen (TheBranBarian) (Hereot) The fuel consumption gauge is actually better.
It tells you how much you've used.
Brannen (TheBranBarian) (Hereot) Same with the 2017 yamaha r6 it's like they are trying to troll us :(
Brannen (TheBranBarian) (Hereot) He said remaining fuel.
Lol idgaf how much i used, i wanna know how much i got left...
tacos4u632 ikr lol XD
i still love my 04 cbr1000rr. I've road alot of different bikes and i still like this year and bike the most. But nothing wrong with buying another bike.
I'm biased, I want VFR videos from you!
GREATEST HIT HONDA CBR 1000RR "THE POWER OF DREAMS" 💪😍😱
The cowl around the air intake looks like a Spartan helmet.
loved this video. I want this bike so bad honestly I like this bike better than the h2, and s1000
Holy fuck dude, this was a great video! Good fucking job on this! Love it
Thank you! :)
Looks like the cbr600rr mixed with the r3
DavidGFilms exactly what I thought. popped the headlights off an r3 lmao
+U_Wot_m7+1 Its VFR
Inbreeding...
cant wait to see some reviews on this bike!
I have a 2005 and a 2019 Fireblade and i still have to agree that the 2006 is the best looking 👍
first time im gonna say this , as a Yamaha rider for years..
Chester Copperpot I ride a tricked out 2003 RC-51 and can pretty much keep up with anyone on the street WITH NO ELECTRONICS
Awesome video! Great review and montage! Greetings from a distant Bulgarian subscriber! Keep up the awesome work , lad!
bro this video was amazing!!!!
Damn that 2017 Honda Fireblade is bad ass!!
I would love to have one..
Excellent video and information as always. Really enjoy your videos. Love all this stuff.
i like the previous/current gen of fireblade they look sic and cute at the same time lol this one looks more fierce and like you said like the cbr600rr haha
Subbed...great and informative video. I'm looking forward to some real world ride testing before I get too excited about the Fireblade. Especially, considering the competition is going to be amazing this year, Kawasaki and Yamaha will be hard to beat with their new liter bikes this year.
Thanks for the info think i will keep my 2012 one more year.
Just by looking at the seat I can tell she'll make an excellent sport touring bike
love my 954 . still a awesome bike. this 2017 cbr should be a hit.
Great video. Best Fireblade video I've seen. Much appreciated, bro!
fireblade looks beautiful
three versions available cant imagine the price differences. still have my 09 cbr 1000rr and newer busa may sell if mid model isnt too pricey
You are wrong, wheels on 2017 SP are exactly the same as on 2014 SP.
SP2 will have lighter Marchesini forged alloys, but the price will be different as well.
The bigger news is that Honda is working on a $35k worth RVF1000 for 2018 release. That was one of their 3 plans as they maintained in the interview.
Honda quality is amazing
Awesome video! Congratulations.
Thanks - great video & overview of these new Hondas!!!
Well done on this one sir! ✅✅✅✅
Thank you so much for making this video you did such a good job
Thank u hero for such an awesome video greetings from India
6:50 is my favorite part of this video :) Hey im here looking/gawking at an Honda bike so dont be hating. But i love my bike so damn much. Now by a show of hands, can i see who's had enough of this winter thing? o/
