Low riders and slammed trucks are what I grew up on during my early 90s high school days. This one is wicked, and if you do a paint job on it, it will be so sick. Love this!
Are you guys going to run extra batteries or heavy duty alternator on an electrically-intensive project truck such as this? Are you going to do nothing to improve power or performance of the engine? Or is this simply not in the scope of this project? I ask because why not do everything to make the truck unique and fun, rather than just being a slow-ass truck with a little, gutless 4-cyl engine?
Absolutely love how it turned out!! From the sound system, to the air bags, to the Billet Specialists wheels, it screams old school minitruck. I hope you guys revisit this build and hopefully put the 4.3 turbo V6 the guys at Engine Power built a while back. Nice work fellas!! 💪🔥
While I LOVE the 4.3 (I had one in my 88 Sonoma)... S-10's work VERY well with a small block 350 swap, and there's a MASSIVE aftermarket for that motor, not so much for the 90° V6 guys.
can we please get the link in the parts used for the steering?, center link and tie rod ends. i am curious to know if there is in existence a 4-wheel drive version of that steering system. for the S-10 Blazer. BTW, nice sport truck.
I had a white 94 that I got in 1999. This is exactly what I wanted to do with my truck. The wheels, suspension and even the front grill. This is perfect to me.
always liked s-10s cus you can do many different things with them, i mean remember project s-10k street truck with the small block and turbo 400 trans, that later on became haulin s-10 with the supercharged big block and powerglide, or the s-10 truggy that became a wicked looking rock crawler
If I had the $$$$$$$ I would personally have you do mine for a show , 96 V-6 Sonoma highrider ext. Cab 31x10.50 15s I want to keep do the whole front to back suspension and brakes up graded to new style braking power . And fir an 02 dash .
Putting cars/trucks on the ground just looks stupid. lowering something tastefully is a whole different story. If you like replacing front end parts for no good reason, then know yourself out.
i kinda agree, other than it was chipped, the stock grille actually looked better and woulda been a little bit of a cleaner look, or at least keeping the lighting exposed
i want those wheels soooooooooo baadddddd.!!!! i was looking for a set and could not believe the cost. ive been wanting a mini truck since ive been ten and now finally building one at 36. are there any packages for just the wheels ?
I had a '96 SS S-10. It came stock with rear disc. The area around the headlights was matte black. Those are not the SS wheels. I would guess you have a faux SS.
I do like how Marc trolled the previous owner of the truck with their stupid "Diva" stickers. Anyone who puts those absolutely horrible Autozone stick-on accessories on their truck is clearly too dumb to know that being called a "Diva" is not meant as a compliment.
Forget low dust, just put carbon fiber brake pads and eliminate all dust. Of all people, I have watched you guys pack bearings by hand and always wondered why you guys don't have a bearing packing tool.
The spray and seal is just a product for in between a wax or some sort of coating. Especially since you buffed the paint a graphene or ceramic coating.
Mini Truckin' is NOT Dead!!!! #razzamatazz #dreamsunlimited #fleetwood #californiavice In 1987 i turned 16, and my buddy bought a toyota 4sp 2wd, and slammed it. turned down the torsions and blocked the back, what a great time, thanks for the trip down memory lane.... #orionredbricks #cerwinvegaLD12 #mbquart #alpine
You can have a lowered truck, that hauls as well. Just depends on how you set it up. I know a guy with a slammed dually who hauls a 30' enclosed trailer.
We want to hear from you! Take our quick survey and be entered for a chance to win some sweet POWERNATION merch! pntv.us/lnk_af2dc42a
Glad to finally see another minitruck project. Next time how about something more difficult to build? Let’s see some fab work!

Me too bro and the 90's style is coming back too.... I love dancing beds❤❤❤❤ do dope
Me too I miss my S10 if I had the money I really would build another spl truck with six 15 in a 6 order bandpass box
@@demigodq6083 so figured out a way to make more money.... Simple huh
Same. I build a mini truck with a stripper pole on the bed 😅
clean

It has the V6 if you watched them drop the exhaust off
OK, but still. Why bother doing all the other things if you're going to leave the engine and trans bone stock?
The grill is the one thing on this build that looks like 💩…. Original grill body color with the black and red bow tie is the only way to go! ….
I’m guessing this truck was owned by a female Hispanic before they got it.

@bepbep7418 yeah that's a cool swap. I knew a couple guys that did that. One of them was in a '86 Blazer. Thing was wickedly fast too.
A 350 swap would fit with this build perfectly but with access to the Engine Power shop, that 4.3 Turbo would make it wicked.
so what do ineed for my truck so iwont get camber in the front wheels ?

Hunter Green 88 Sonoma myself.
The scrub line modifications are nice to know for any lowered vehicle, not just a bagged ride.
My only complain. GRILLE
I grew up in late 90s with this style truck. I'd leave the white an just add some sweet 90s graphic
That’s some ugly wheels

I had an 88 King Cab Sonoma, I always wanted the quad cab S-10, but have never been able to find one in decent shape for a decent price 😅

I would leave it like that😊
S10s need a body drop. Just a 3”. Leave your exhaust and X members alone.
Doing this to my 2001 GMC Jimmy do you have a link to that adjustable steering arm
Putting cars/trucks on the ground just looks stupid. lowering something tastefully is a whole different story. If you like replacing front end parts for no good reason, then know yourself out.
What was done to the exhaust to make it fit? Saw how the cross member modified but nothing on what was done to the Y pipe.
need an NVU gauge kit!!!
IMO that front grill doesn't flow with the rest of the truck.
i kinda agree, other than it was chipped, the stock grille actually looked better and woulda been a little bit of a cleaner look, or at least keeping the lighting exposed
Needed smooth snugtop and a 2" cowl hood
"BuT wHaT aBoUt SpEeD BuMpS?" 🤫
Awesome and awful are awfully close sounding for those accessories
The wheels give it that 90's feel😃😃
This is my FAVORITE right here; a SLAMMED S10😃😃😃😃
Makes me want to get one and do that😃😃😃
What size tire is this?
i want those wheels soooooooooo baadddddd.!!!! i was looking for a set and could not believe the cost. ive been wanting a mini truck since ive been ten and now finally building one at 36. are there any packages for just the wheels ?
update, i got them wheels! just need that 5 link!

Not the correct engine for the SS either. They didn't come with the TBI.
@@lftdblazer true. I didn't watch the whole video. They had the "X" 4.3 ltr. So does my '03 ZR2.
What!!! No Rollin shots!!!!
What size wheel and tire?
I have an s10 that is a perfect LS swap candidate 😉 it would make for a great episode! I'm just south of Nashville...

Done you ain't done thats just the start 😂😂 mini trucks are never done
My favorite wheels on an S10!
The rhinestones 😂😂 bih plz you in a S10 😅
Would be nice to include wheel and tire specs...
Had a 2001 just like it!!!!

I just bought a 1979 Toyota pickup hilux first time owning a carburetored vehicle
That truck look good
I had 4 s10s
I like that.
Well done! 👍👍👍
Did I miss something ??? Wasted time showing how to wash a car which has done a thousand times , no time on the phantom grill ???
still don't care....
Care enough to comment
And watch it
I personally don't think any truck should be lowered. Trucks are meant to haul and carry stuff, therefore, lifted is better!
If someone is lowering a truck that much theres a good chance they have another truck to use...i have 3 trucks for different purposes
You can have a lowered truck, that hauls as well. Just depends on how you set it up. I know a guy with a slammed dually who hauls a 30' enclosed trailer.
Why do these shows always make a point of saying something is made in the USA?
12:29 blowed my mind fixing the dent
Still needs an LS swap . Lol
Ruined a good truck !😂
Time to bring the scene back to how it was in the 90s.
Would this truck be up for sale by any chance.?.😊
I see a giveaway type deal coming soon. That’s what all these car builders are doing nowadays
The whole point of a truck is hauling stuff and it's clearance but lowering it just ruins it IMO.
And your opinion means nothing.
Hey everyone if you dont need to haul anything you are not allowed to buy a truck!!! Its for hauling only!!!
Hauling in a S10? 😅
So when they're jacked 2 feet higher and can't reach the bed makes it any different?
What are you going to haul in an s10 😂
17:24 all that was mind opening
7:57 lol I was waiting 😅for that move
6:53 😮omg I’m amused now
11:19 😮😅 easy to fix that omg
Super awesome
