That has to be the most honest seller ever. “Pretty much nothing works on it but the lights”.
Hahaha yup! Except didn't say anything about the tick until we got there lol
I would love to see a budget rebuild!
It's ok that it's another SBC. I love them. I also love 72 monte Carlos as well.
Next budget build is a Bronco, hope you like that instead haha
Me and My brother may make them we now own the car
Do some polebarngarage stuff like he did on his chevy @@DailyDrivenDeathTraps
goddamn it, watching people score first gens makes me jealous wont lie. great video
Holy shit ace, Ventura’s car if you paint that sucker blue that could be a replica lol 👍
Oh yeahhhhh 🙌🏼🙌🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Like a glove...
Close to my Monte 😂 look at my username @DailyDrivenDeathTraps
Holy testicle tuesday!!!
Just need the pet food mod in the ash tray!
Tokyo drift made that body style popular to me lol and I would consider it a muscle car for sure
That scene is so cool, had to watch the movie again before reviving this haha
Paint it that primer sand the roof down put some nascar rims on it and sell it or roll it
That K-Seal is pretty spectacular stuff in a pinch.
True that!
I was surprised to hear the Chevy race car didn’t have a lot of views you guys rock another great video from a great channel
Thanks! Hopefully they all go up over time. It has 20k now but we thought it would pop off right away!
Love it, I had 71 Monte
Niceee 👍🏼
My favorite year, has a 71 front bumper
👍🏼👍🏼🙌🏼
Nice car wish i could afford to buy it
Even in this condition, this thing is badass.
propane torch removes most oil stains.
😆😆
Not gunna lie this was a pretty cool and funny video to watch. I give you props for taking on that monte and driving it that far.
Holy cow mans is in Carlyle IL lol. As a long time Ski drinker. Welcome to the addiction
Haha, no addiction here, it's hard for me to start addictions unless they are way too pricey like this hobby
Budget muscle car rebuild. I love monte-carlos but perfer 73 to 75. Just love that body style. As always. A great video and entertaining.
We appreciate that!
It's one of my dream classics for sure. And the fact they ran them in NASCAR is a big plus for me. All the old NASCAR muscle is cool as heck. Monte Carlo, Galaxie, Torino... Just classic shapes and I hope to have one myself one day. Daily driver status, I don't want a show car.
The Monte Carlo is gentleman's muscle for sure. Like the Buick Skylark for instance. Although the Monte definitely has a leg up because of the heritage. But like many cars of the era the 73s and up got hit with the fugly stick. First gen only! And yes, Toyko Drift had probably the best opening of all F&F movies. That Monte is bad ass.
I hope you do something with it.
You’ll have one, one day 👍🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
The WOW factor.looking very nice 👍👍👍👍👍😊😊
Thanks 👍
Cool
Bro I had this thing saved on marketplace
Well you gave it the ole college try. Great 👍 content guys. Very interesting 🤔 for sure.
I love 1970 my dad had a 70 when I was a kid blast back then i started turning wrenches on them
Good memories!
Is it for sale
@@user-ec1be1kl6p she’s already got a new home
Our solo 71 for about $6000 and it was 100% rust free. It was an awesome car. I wish I would have kept it
Ah lucky! Shoulda kept it
Very Cool Ride They look amazing painted Iroc Blue
i would love to see it back on the road, chevys are a great car to own, as for the leaks etc and engine overhauled completely or brand new engine, cant wait to see more videos. it still has lots of life and love,
We own the car now me ND my brother are going to make videos on it likely
@@RattleTrapGarage Where are the videos? Would love to see how she turned out.
Well about that I'm not exactly sure how to make a decent video buy hopefully I can figure it out the car is much different than it was but yet very much the samewere putting a big block in it rn it has a cowl hood now and new wheels and tires
Thanks for video, keep them coming!!
Thanks, will doooooo!
New sub here. Part two of the falcon did it for me. Persistence well done.

Thanks for subbin!
Another good one 👍👍
Thanks!
Shroud plus electric fan works well.
You got sum good bones there …. You should turn it into the fast and furious Tokyo drift Montecarlo
Heck yeah!
cool monte
Second find in a row you ended up having to tow home. That sucks. Can't wait to see work on this one.
That was the first one tho?
Toyko drift cosplay coming together.
Ughhh I wish
Thats a really cool Monte Carlo! Nice work!
I had a 1980 Monte Carlo had to it was the mid range love that thing had a 383 stroker in it and I miss that car
Sounds fun!
I brought a 250 ford transit 2 week ago iv seen it look at it good and he gave me 30 k from 34,800 the battery was low to start but I took his word it run great and brought it without even seen it run. LOL I was desperate need a new van. So he seem trustable and he was the van run like a car quiet and powerful and useds onky 18 buck a week vs 160 my old van. No problen at all even the ac is super cold. Great buy 2017
Fix it up like Dalton on Pole Barn Garage.
Love the audio lol
Haha thanks!
Another good one!, keep it going!! 😊

Thanks!
This channel is gonna be added to my new addiction 😄
Awesome!
Good.job cool car Nice show 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Thanks!
Fun FACT the 72 Monte has I believe the longest production Hood of its era. the FAN shroud real important to use, other wise the air wont flow to cool the engine. as i watch i see you put the fan and shroud on very nice, it stay cool.
Haha, yeah too much room, def needed the shroud to keep cool!
I'd love 2 c how much of a restoration u guys would b up 4 doing on that monte carlo
She gone, maybe the next one!
That's my dream car since age 6
Nice!
I enjoyed this video
Thanks! Glad you liked it
@@DailyDrivenDeathTraps I'm anxious to see more from you guys
The ace ventura mobile...
Great video and the sound was good! You too work good together and I enjoy your videos!
I appreciate that!
I love the audio
Dope!
They are awesome, i had a '70 a long time ago and hope to have another ( if $$$ allows) , remember winston cup used to run these body styles, they are definitely muscle cars.
Nice!
Tokyo drift Monte with manual trans was cool .Big block didn’t hurt. I know it may not be worth the effort I get it.
Keep on keeping on fellers. Ain’t no party like a Marketplace party! 😲🤬
Gotta like a channel where you get your car guy fix along with your "Churchin up" because there's a LOT of prayin goin on! LOL.
Hahah! Pray for us 🙌🏼
daily driven death traps? story of my life! lmao i got 2 driveways full of projects that move but barely🤣
As long as they move!
Perfect candidate for a NASCAR tribute car!
True dat
damn good run
Heck yeahhh
I had a 70. Wish I had kept it.
There's always that one we wish we kept
Just subbed i want too see a budget rebuild on it
They are 100% a Muscle Car. And I'm fairly sure I heard a knock back at O'reilly. Either way, I appreciate how far you got in something you know very little about. I hope to see more of it sometime later, maybe a "here's what happened". Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
hell yeah got some mics audio is so much better .
Thanks!
My brother just bought this car
Nice job. You never know what you’re going to get when you buy a used car and you made it quite far.✊
Thanks! At least it made it as far as it did for the video haha!
Someone put a '71 front bumper on that, '72's are all chrome with out signal lights, 1st year only has the round signal lights in the bumper.
🗿💨what kind of price makes it sit from June for a buyer? Ive always loved those first gen Montes. Hab a 70 with a factory 4spd in late 80s, the one i should have kept.. Thanks for sharing, , like to have one of these and put a LS in it💯👍
As usual, you guys rock. Too bad she didn't make it all the way on her own. I would love to see more of her, but if she sells, you will find another car. Good job❤
Thanks! Appreciate the kind words!
Match in the gas tank Boom 💥 Boom 💥 😎 👌 😊
That oil leak could be the oil sending unit. They're known to be squirters.
Will check that!
First off, you have a new subscriber...second, my favorite body style Monte Carlos are the 87-ish SS in black with red stripes. My old boss had one with 149 miles on it with a fully built 589 BBC race engine that ran on Turbo Blue. It made 850 horsepower at the wheels and it was a beautifully built car with a legitimate 149 miles. He sold it for $40,000 way back in the early 00s.
Jeesh that sounds awesome! 🙌🏼
Praise be to Bob
Bobbbbbbbbbbbb
Good job, guys just to get it as far as you did....definitely a win!! I've never thought of the Monte Carlo as a muscle car.....Too plain jane for me and just never had the right look especially from '73 onward. I would try to sell it too. You've got plenty of good projects in the yard already. Look forward to more. 👍
Thanks! She's already sold! See ya in the next one
I saw you guys at Carlyle Walmart. I know this car
Shoulda said hiiiii
What was a teenager in the early eighties these cars were definitely sought after it is a muscle car. With a little bit of luxury.
It’s definitely a muscle car
My first car was a 1970 monte, best year in my opinion, loved it, would love another one but anything good is too pricey!!
Wayyyyyy to pricy, we paid way too much for this junk
😮😮😮
Oh, guts were unDOUBTABLY crushed in Monte Carlos back in the day.
Man if you got death wobble durring a flat tow😅..thats sketchy.
Awesome car👌 great video!
Haha, thanks!
Ok thanks
Some times head gaskest and need heat to reseal
Subbed! Been looking for a monte myself, not this one though😂
Hahahaha you don’t want this one
Let's see a mopar video next!
We've got a swap coming sometime thats mopar
Car is crap, video is great! Keep up the great work and your channel will keep growing. I wish I would have found you guys sooner.
Thanks so much!
My High Torque Fuel crapped out and I sent it out for warranty. While waiting I needed an impact and the Harbor Fright had a deal for 2, Hercules 5ah batteries and a free tool. Got an angle grinder for the free tool and grabbed their Ultra torque impact. I actually Like it more than the Milwaukee. 5 Year warranty. Just bring it in and get a new one. I’m a Milwaukee fanboy for sure but I may just replace out of warranty stuff with Jerkules 🤣 Angle grinder is meh compared to my fuel.
HBCheck intake bolts
You're working in an O'Reilly's parking lot. All those spare parts are from AutoZone. It's like sneaking your own food into the theater.
Hahahaha never thought of it like that!
Filmed on location less than 20 minutes from me. Clinton county folks are a different breed.
Hahah, they are, Oreally was really nice though
Lol i say intake then u did and i think your right
There is enough room under the hood for a V10!
Or a Detroit diesel
Cool video! Could be a cool car with some work.
Definitely!
Might be the oil sending sensor
True dat, guy we sold it too replaced air intake gasket and hasn't smoked since. Lucky
I have been enjoying your videos for a few months now, but I wonder what the thought process is behind showing virtually all the salient footage up front? That makes me feel like it's a waste of time to watch the video afterwards.
Point is to draw the viewer in to watch more, you saw in the beginning that we cut it off after the car was smoking so you don't know if we made it home. Some videos we get 1 or 2 of these kind of comments, some none. Not sure what to do but some people like the montage in the beginning.
Great video but your audio is way too low. I had to crank up my TV just to barely hear you talk
Can't understand why you guys don't have more Subs.. Great stuff. Everyone else... Like , subscribe and hit the bell. Watching from down under JB
Thank you! We always appreciate comments like these!
That my friend appears to be the town called Carlyle Illinois
