Actually, the D900 is a tad better overall than the 845 for emulation. Not true about two years ago, but the past year the updates for both the device and emulators have got it up to par.

I didn't get the clear Retroid Pocket 4 Pro even though it looks awesome, mainly because I know what my GameBoy Pocket looks like after 30 years. I know there's cleaning stuff that can improve it's appearance, but those cleaners are about half the cost of a new GameBoy Pocket after market case. So, if you're taking the thing apart to clean it anyway, it's almost better just to replace the case. So, the question is, will there be aftermarket cases for Retroid Pockets or Ayn Odins in 30 years? I doubt it. There certainly won't be aftermarket cases for the 10 million Anbernic handhelds by then.
I'd go for the Pro IF you want to play some Wii/GC and very little Switch. If you're looking for only retro PSX/N64 some psp the D900 is okay which is in the Lite Odin.
I haven't done side by sides but some games would most likely perform better with certain configurations for sure! My Lite honestly hasn't been touched much lately.
@liamconverse8950 everyone has their reasons why they get things, I got this to play it but also have other ideas for it too 😀 so it sits. I play my Odin 1 Pro, Odin 2, PS Vita and Asus Rog Ally at least once a week depending how I feel.
GC and PS2 is way more finicky than the old reviews and vids suggested, but for $60 emulating up to Dreamcast upscaled out of the box and a good amount of select GC and PS2 games is worth it

I really like the ergonomics and OLED screen of the Anbernic 556 but it's not a powerful device. I also need something that streams Xbox Series S. I'm also skeptical if something better coming out soon! Would you recommend this system? I'm just getting into the rabbit hole of handheld retro gaming. I have a Miyoo Mini Plus and a RG35XX H. :) I'm also a content creator
@@SomethingLocal Um, no. The Odin Lite is a D900, just like the RP4. The Odin Lite is not a D9000, as such a chip does not exist. Otherwise, a D9000 would make the Odin Lite even more powerful than the Odin 2.
Hi iv bought an ayn Odin lite and it doesn’t have an imei number so no SIM card I have tried seems to work (three and o2) I’m in the uk 🇬🇧 has anyone managed to get a cellular network working on their Odin lite, from what I can understand no Odin lite has an imei. I would appreciate if some can offer me a solution, many thanks
Camera adds cost, but a camera even an 16mp would be alright on one of these as the Odin Lite could technically be turned into a phone if you know science lol.
Ha I actually had a cool idea for console battles, Rog Ally Emulation vs Odin 2, Odin 2 VS Odin 1, Odin 1 VS Odin Lite, Odin Lite VS Retroid 3+. I haven't purchased the Loki only because I own the ROG and another device is on the way. Maybe if it goes on sale or I find one secondhand I'll consider it.

HA, I'm thinking of doing some bloopers randomly! I mean it's a gaming channel and should be fun not dried out and boring ;). My kids do use my Retroids actually, sometimes they play my Odin 2 when I'm around but they each have their own Switch Lite consoles and for their ages are really good (not perfect) at taking care of them.
Ha well soon so as long as they ship my order before their Chinese New Year which I feel the 4 base model isn't going to be here before the end of February at this point.

Odin light is the only handheld I have and I've played it a lot. From what I understand it Outperforms the Odin pro in some situations

Honestly I haven't tested to much yet which will be part of my review but based off the benchmark score the Dimensity has a way better processor.
The color looks like Retroid Pocket 4 crystal version. The surface texture is a bit sandy like or smooth?

I'll find out this week, as they are analog to digital and I've owned my Pro since August the triggers still seem to hold up lol.

I tried to upgrade the sticks on my Odin lite last week and the left stick would move in game when I pressed L2 I used hall sticks.
