Big Garden Update: Big Changes for Our Summer Garden!

- Just a quick update on the Big Garden! This vegetable garden has done well, but Dad wasn't too happy with his corn planting (it might've been planted too deeply). So we're gonna change it up a bit. We're plowing up red clover cover crop, and we'll replant some corn on that side. In the area where the original corn didn't do so well, we''ll plant some okra, beans, & squash.
Thanks for watching, y'all!

Crazy weather!
You just might have you a Victory Garden. It's gonna be nice!
Hope so!
I have a love-hate relationship with clover as a cover crop. I like growing it and its pretty, but its what to do with it when spring comes. I want let it bloom for the bees but then thats getting late in the year to plant other stuff. Turning it under is a PITA as for the reasons shown here. Though as I understand, the best way to capture the nitrogen is to bury when still green. So cutting it then letting it dry to turn under isn't the most optimal use. idk
I feel the same way! Love/Hate
That looked more like oats than wheat 🌾. I could be wrong but you may have gotten oat straw
It’s possible!
