Barefoot Gardening | Big Garden is Thriving! Tomato Pruning Tips

Join me for some barefoot gardening the Big Garden on this lovely summer evening! We'll do some tomato pruning (I'll share some pruning tips with you!) which will really help our harvest. Our spring vegetables here in the Big Garden are doing really well: corn is thriving, peppers are popping, Celebrity tomatoes are showing out... everything is doing great!
There is one section of the garden you'll notice, however, where the tomato plants didn't make it (I'll share my theory on that). We'll take care of that next time; for now, it's time to start pruning!

The garden looks great Ryan, I'm in for some breaded deep fried okra and eggplant Parmigiano. Great explanations on tomato pruning.
Try plain tomato ( real ripped) and mayo on wheat bread, you'll thank me later.

Wow this sure bring back the memories, love your garden, hope you do a lot of canning , oh how I love canning!! Now that I'm disabled I only have 3 tomatoe plants. I need to get the sucker's cut off soon as rain lets up lol, love your dad's gardening chair. I need to find me something like that

Ryan, we.bought a freeze drier 5 years ago. We always have too many tomatoes in our garden. We slice them and freeze.dry them. They taste exactly like a fresh home.tomato.when we.rehydrate.them. BLTs with Dukes year.round. :). We.pretty much freeze dry everything in our.garden that we.don't eat right away. They keep for 20+ years. You should try it. We.bought the Harvestrite brand.
