  • A little demo of my Warmoth p-bass with a few different tones. The riff at the beginning is from 'Starless' by King Crimson.
    Specs of the bass:
    Fender CIJ '62 Reissue Precision Neck
    Warmoth Alder P-bass body finished with 12 coats of Tru-Oil
    Fender Original Precision Bass Pickup ('62 Reissue)
    Fender Reissue Bridge
    Pickguardian Pickguard
    Playing through these pedals:
    Compressor: Boss CS-2
    Distortion: Boss ODB-3
    Fuzz: Wren & Cuff Tall Font Russian
    Octave: Boss OC-2, DOD Meatbox
    Phaser: MXR Phase 100

    Wow, you absolutely nailed Wetton's tone from Red ! So loud, angry and deeply resentful. I love it so much. Awesomely done and congratulations on finishing the bass.

    King Crimson rules and that was a great cover! I've built a Warmoth fretless Jazz and love it. I'm thinking about making a PJ next. Thanks for the video!

    Hi. Whats the brand of strings that you are using? Is the Phase 100 more versatile and is more usefull with a Bass ? Thanks

      Rotosounds Swing 45-105. I like the Phase 100 because it has more options, like keeping the low end out of the effected signal.

    What type of knobs?

      fernando perdomo i don’t know what they are called. A google search for ‘skirted’ knobs might help. I found them at a local electronics store.
