Fr. Calvin Robinson is the person that led me back to God. He is absolutely right that it is okay for preachers to stay protected within the church walls but it is better to go out and spread the message. He is definitely that preacher, most treasured for his brave heart. As the saying goes: Ships in the harbour are safe, but that is not what ships are built for. God bless you Fr. Robinson 🙏
I had to respond to your comment. I to got interested again in the Church because of Fr Calvin. I remember watching him talk on TV before he was ordained & been watching him ever since.

I’m wondering why do people call these people “Father”? Do you believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God? He is specifically addressing the practice of referring to religious leaders and mentors as "father" in any formal or official sense. What's forbidden is an attempt to give one of Jesus' followers a spiritual status above that of others.
Did you call your dad, Father or dad? Surely Christ did not mean to stop calling fathers: Father. However, we can understand Him to mean not to put any Father on the same level as our Lord God in heaven; our reverence for God the Almighty Father is distinguished from honoring man. If I'm not mistaken this is shown in the Aramaic text.
Oh this is something I have been praying for ! I adore Calvin Robinson and Father Trenham and have left several comments on Father Calvin's various platforms asking him when he is going to come home to the Orthodox Church! (lol) God bless them both!
The same tedious comment Catholics leave.🙄 Calvin has already responded that he is Anglican to the bone and God called him as a priest to the Anglican church, not the Catholic/Orthodox church.
And he is probably where he needs to be and where God has called him to be for the time being because there are Anglicans who need someone who thinks and speaks like them to call them back to Truth and repentance. Then from there God will move them into Orthodoxy. But someone with this much of an Orthodox phronema that is not Orthodox will not remain outside of Orthodoxy for long, especially when they find themselves standing alone more and more often.

The "sacrament of confession" is blasphemous. Jesus died, suffering the punishment of sin in our place (Romans 6:23, John 3:16) in order to reconcile us to God. Anyone who puts their trust in Jesus and follows him is forgiven, the burden of sin is lifted, they walk in newness of life (Ephesians 2:1-2, 2 Corinthians 5:17 etc) and are RECONCILED TO GOD (2 Corinthians 5:17-20, Romans 5:10-11, Ephesians 2:16, Colossians 1:20-22). Romans 6 (the whole chapter), John 8:34-36 & 1st John 3 also explicitly say that we no longer sin. And so "the sacrament of Confession" is wrong on many levels and is typical of the RCC usurping God, rebelling against the Word of God and despising the work of Christ.
