All my life I've honestly felt like it has been so much work physically opening and closing the door myself when getting in and out, glad they addressed this issue after I've been suggesting it for 20+ years.
One of these, in the exact exterior color scheme, went past me on the road a short time ago. He didn’t use his turn signals (ha!) but the car looked great. Imposing but elegant! 🤩
Never realized that opening & closing a door was such a hassle......🤣🤣🤣 I'm sorry, big BMW fan, but this is unnecessary. I think this is really a flex on BMW's technology and maybe what we will eventually see in their less expensive models in the next decade.
You're right! It definitely isn't necessary tech, but it's a cool luxury, and adds an up-market touch to the car, which is always welcome in this price range. And, it definitely is a flex 💪
@@Carlos-ig6oo it's cool....don't get me wrong....I suppose it all boils down to a flex on technology versus if it's 100% necessary. but yes, I agree...neat party trick
Had the car for a year. Nice car but frustrating. The tech is a mess. I had a 3 series 15 years a ago that had better voice command. The electronics have a mind of its own. BMW needs to go back to basics on the tech. NOT RECOMENDED!
ok ty i was wondering because my friends are retarded and will lean back and break it ok ty for answering. I want to pick up girls and play music videos while I drive around. I wonder if I can get the front seats screen and the rear screen to play the same thing at the same time. @@bmwofmorristown9038
That tv screen is the worst thing in the car, would’ve been better if the tv screens were in the Back of the front seat hidden away like the BMW phantom and ghost. If you’re driving how are you supposed to see out the rear while that screen is down, I hope that doesn’t come standard cause that would be a deal breaker for me, I think it’s stupid. Whoever came up with that idea need to be fired.
To be honest. I think the seat adjustment buttons on the side of the door is ugly and really placed in a spot that is just an eye sore. Who’s adjusting their seats that much anyway. 🤷♂️.
@@bmwofmorristown9038 was probably made because whoever buys this car is getting driven around and most likely has multiple drivers, it’s all to cater to the rich man’s employees 🤣
"Ugly Car!" I see that a lot. I've never found the 7 attractive. Too boring. When Cadillac killed the CT6 Blackwing, I was sure I'd have to buy an S Class. I was really disappointed with the S class exterior. Lss, I just happened to come across a review on this car, polarizing like the cts in 2003, I had to have it! I own a loaded 2024 now. It arrived from Atlanta on 12/21. I still prefer magneride from GM, the lack of a rearview camera is a dangerous oversight, and the condensation in my beautiful crystal drl's is unacceptable, but I'm loving this car. If you'd told me two months ago I'd be buying a BMW I would've laughed.
This car look so complicated and out of portion like to open just a door it’s like a whole procedure like bro it’s a door handle it was fine the way it was
It is, I do agree with you. However, I don't see people running to get 7 Series either. Many dealers have a good amount of inventory, and it appears many have back-out after their original order. @@bmwofmorristown9038
Actually, do a little research. Sales numbers are up on this car, and I couldn't get the one I wanted in the entire state of Texas, so mine had to be shipped from Atlanta. This design is the reason I'm a first time BMW owner.

But it is an option
Bro imagine someone being driven on the Jersey turnpike watching this channels videos on the theater screen.
Wouldn't that be a sight
I wouldn't even want to drive it. Just leave me in the theater... I mean backseat. This car is 🔥
Bmw said fuck this shit we taking over !
Thank God! Opening the door left me spent.
This is the ultimate luxury car..they always lead in tech others follow, no auto opening doors in merc no theater screen, job well done bmw
Absolutely!
Auto closing doors are already on Teslas. The screen is cool
Tesla has had this for years… lol
I saw a dark gray one today and boy I was 100% impressed.
They have great presence!
Open your own doors. Uggh it's such a plebian task. That 7 series is 🔥🔥🔥
This is the best review! glad I stopped by your channel. Thank you for sharing
Great review!
Cool. Gonna buy one of these just to open and close the doors.
Does the automat door has a safety function to check if a bicycle is comming from behind and passing by?
Trust me I felt every bit of the interior through the phone wow!!!!
Im definitely getting one of these......in 10yrs
Finally I did learn how to open car door and how to close it! I was so worry about it !!!
The more you know...
Can you customize the Relax, Digital Art, and Expressive Modes (so shades don't move or massage seats don't turn on)??
One of these, in the exact exterior color scheme, went past me on the road a short time ago. He didn’t use his turn signals (ha!) but the car looked great. Imposing but elegant! 🤩
The new 7 definitely has serious presence on the road!
I’m getting the same color or maybe Brooklyn gray😊
Can 5 people sit in this comfortably? Or is it better off as a 4 passenger? The middle seat in the back seems hard.
Nice going to buy one tomorrow with my 550 credit
Awesome!
Awesome , high tech , amazing look ... much better than its arrivals from audi & merc
Absolutely 💙💙

Its cool but all I see is $$$ signs when this car has issues, And we all know BMWs have issues.
Why are there different front bumpers in other markets? I prefer the cleaner look available in Germany.
I believe you're referring to the luxury line bumper. You can get that in the US, but only on the i7.
@@bmwofmorristown9038 thank you for the quick response I checked and you’re absolutely correct.
Sick Seiko Costco wrist watch for $199.99!!!
Dude really said minimalist 😂

Any issues besides the tech overload?
Yeah, probably because you are too old for this technology.
I got this car for the wife with that screen for the kids I hope they will enjoy it specially on the road trips
$140K! In 2-3 years, it will be like what, $65k?
If you look on Carvana, the 2022 7 series is only $51K, the 2021 7 series is about $45K. 🤣
☝️😏.. imagine being on the highway and having to navigate all these computer screen icons 😞
That's what shortcuts and voice control are for.
Wow drivers getting so lazy they won't even open their own doors
Not to cater to laziness... it's just a nice convenience feature, and a very cool "party trick."
Tesla has had this door feature for 5 years on the model X lol…
What if someone innthe front wants to lean back
The mobility of the front two seats is limited when the theater screen is down.

I love this car play a ps5 game on the flate screen
We really want to try that!
Me gusta bmw. Para Coca
And all those features are only valuable when you're buying when you trade it in you lost 50% and it's a book car according to George
Why do you keep slamming the soft close doors ? Lol
bmw stopped at the M8
The interior is gorgeous. The front of the 7 series is hideous.
WHY? Why no rear frontal airbags? Would safe 1000s of lives
.should've done the video inside. Hard to appreciate with all this glare.
Noted! Thanks for the feedback.
All this technology 🥲🥲🥲soo what will happen if someone like gets in a acccident ?
The same thing that happens with any other car. You fix it!

I agree. It would be like watching a movie at the theater while sitting on the right side of the very first row of seats down at the ground level.

Fair enough, to each their own. It is easier to access for sure, but you have a point -- it's not a control that's used all that often.

Lots of unnecessary tech lol, fancy though.

Everything is fine the way it is, until we make it better :)
Those electronics look extremely distracting to just lower the damn window. WTF bmw?
Good looking car but all this touch screen stuff is IDIOTIC since you have to take your eyes of the road to use.
Wow what a disgustingly ugly car, they need to fire their designers
This is one ugly car. Not sure what to think of it. Too expensive for a design like this. Most dealer can't sell this beast.
It's all subjective I suppose :)

Interior is horrible for 100k damn why does bmw always suck at interior.
u have a very bad sight for beauty.. work on it
The first 7 series I love. Having played with the i drive interface..it’s unnecessarily complicated. Really hope bmw simplifies it
