Great video. Really relaxing to watch with the chilled vibes. Nice seeing the friendliness with your interactions. Waiting for my VI order. I’m excited to shoot with it.
Just recently found your channel. Love your videos, very relaxing. I especially enjoy your random interactions with people and that you've left them in. Very cool.
Nice video, thanks for sharing. You should consider to make a comparison video of gr iii x and x100vi. I wonder the differences between them about user experiences, not technical but practical.
Quite a few have asked for this comparison - it makes sense! They are my main EDC cameras, so I'll definitely be sure to do video on it later this month.
Yeah, just smile and explain how interesting the composition was. I've never had anyone telling me to delete it (apart from moody security guards in semi-public spaces). Cheers for watching!
Love both but they are quite different. I willingly take the Ricoh everywhere, in any pocket. I'm treating the X100VI much like the X-Pro range. I'll definitely do a POV comparison video on it - thanks for the reminder.
Recommend for candid portraits - will be sure to take / show more examples in future videos. I've shot with the similar Fuji f/2 WR lens at weddings in the past, so it's been a reliable focal length and aperture for me.
Hoi Dennis! I hope it arrives soon. I use the Peak Design cuff strap - it takes up such little space and I just latch it on to whichever camera I'm using.
Great videos. What settings for focus did you use or zone focus on manual? Are these straight out of the camera jpgs or RAW. Did you use Fuji colors or your own post? Just got my camera and very interested in your approach to this. Thanks
I try to keep it as simple as possible, so for the majority of the time I have AF wide tracking on as well as continuous focus. I generally have the focus point in a central region and lock on to the subject and then re-compose. In this video, they were shot in RAW. My most recent video shows JPEGS/SOOC. I always shoot RAW, but I may start shooting JPEG now due to the filesizes of the X100VI.
Still getting used to it! Since that initial practice either side of work, I've had time to tailor the setup, so I'm looking forward to this weekend. Far more responsive and accurate AF than the X-Pro3.
I haven't held/seen the black version, but I went for silver because all my cameras are black and I find it difficult to find/grab things out of my black sling bag! But yeah, silver is very pretty of course.
My favourite TH-cam photographer ❤️
Great video. Really relaxing to watch with the chilled vibes. Nice seeing the friendliness with your interactions. Waiting for my VI order. I’m excited to shoot with it.
Thanks - proof that friendly people do exist in London! Hope your x100vi arrives soon 🚚
Personally loved the shot of all the umbrellas by the bus 📷
That's probably my favourite from the commute that day. Not that many keepers, but it's all good practice!
Very nice!
Cheers!
Great shots! Luved the video - makes me really want to get back to London.
Appreciate it. When were you last out here?
It's been a few years. Hoping to get back later this summer. Used to visit a lot when we lived in Basel.@@po.ntandshoot

Really appreciate this. I'm in Japan currently, so the interactions will be very different I'm sure!
@@po.ntandshoot have a great time.

Great video! I cannot wait to do the same next month on my visit over to London.
Cheers - good luck with your visit, I hope good weather arrives before you do.
Good eye. I've always struggled including people in my shots, but nobody seems to care or notice.
Yeah, just smile and explain how interesting the composition was. I've never had anyone telling me to delete it (apart from moody security guards in semi-public spaces). Cheers for watching!
very chill video. wish it was longer. great city
Cheers! A longer, more relaxing one coming out soon, given I'm currently on a walk through London on a sunny Saturday.
Thanks. Infinately better presentation than a 1000 influencers talking reviews.
Cheers - I need to remind myself to stay on this track.
Nice video, Mark! Thanks for taking us along. Got some really cool shots 👌
Cheers - I promise better output and weather (possibly) in the next video! I had the GoPro nervously clamped on the umbrella handle after work.
thanks for sharing, nice street shots, make me miss London again! how X100vi compared to Ricoh GR if any?
Love both but they are quite different. I willingly take the Ricoh everywhere, in any pocket. I'm treating the X100VI much like the X-Pro range. I'll definitely do a POV comparison video on it - thanks for the reminder.
How does this handle portraits? I want a nice travel camera mainly, but some portraits every once in a while are super nice too

Film crew = permits. Looking for another one on the quota maybe.
I like the photos 👌 I'm still waiting on my pre-order. What type of wrist band are you using on your X100VI?
Lot's of greetings, Dennis 🇱🇺

Bonjour merci!
Les photos que tu montres sont du Jpeg simulation de films ou Raw?
RAW! next episode I will release this week will be using JPEGS straight out of camera.
Nice shots and video, I also got one X100VI two days ago. Are these shots edited from raw or are you using a recipe?
Thanks! These are shot in RAW with a quick classic chrome edit. I'm looking forward to dedicating more time with the camera this weekend.
great photos! how are you liking the new camera so far?

which color looks in real life better the silver or black?

Lovely video, but I feel like with your talent any camera would work
Thanks for watching, Anna 📸
It is over priced for APCS not full frame
Maybe slightly overpriced. But, for 23/35mm lovers hunting for an EDC, it's just about worth it.
Not when the company sees used x100v selling for 2000+
Trop cher ne veut rien dire? Par rapport a quoi?
@@po.ntandshootand now 50mm eff at 20MP. Not insignificant.
And overhyped at the point of unfollowing all TH-camrs talking about it. And I was X100V user.
