60k is too much for Ryzen!!
I think Asus is the only brand that sells ryzen 4000 series at 47k (the only downside is it has a TN display rather than IPS)
@@santriptaswain6578 it's not the only downside...it comes with and older graphics unit...battery is pretty bad....screen is pretty bad.

@@alind_singh Ryzen mobile series processors are APUs and they have current gen integrated graphics chips in them, If you're saying Vega 6 is old by comparing it Vega 8 of Ryzen 5 3500u then thats not how it works. Vega 6 has less cores than Vega 8 but it has more cache and memory bandwidth per core than that of Vega 8, so when it comes to performance, Vega 6 wins easily. Vega 6 also claims less memory (around 1GB or close to 2GB) whereas Vega 8 claims major chunnk of memory(around 3 Gb)
For a Ultrabook 5 hours of battery life is sufficient
You can get upto 8 hours of battery life if you enable save battery mode, it does help actually
And for 2 in 1 the cost increases when you add touch interface in an IPS panel. And not everyone prefers 2 in 1 they are just reduntant unless you do art and stuff on them or you completely rely on making notes and stuff on laptop, else they dont have much of use apart from folding it back and forth makes it look cool
NOTE: Guys, this specific model of the Lenovo Flex 5 Laptop with the Ryzen 5 4500U chip has still not been listed again on Amazon India website, so I just don't know when it will come in stocks.
BTW there are some other models of Lenovo Flex 5 laptops on Amazon India but they are just way overpriced and comes with slower Core i3 or Core i5 processors which are simply not that powerful. So looks like Lenovo made a good laptop but the irony is that it's simply not readily available in India.

I love this laptop! Purchased it about 2 months ago and finally eliminated Windows completely off of it as opposed to the dual partition I was running and the battery life is phenomenal with something other than Windows. I'm currently using 0.7 of the 7½ GB of RAM while running Firefox and downloading 2 iso files through KTorrent. Great little machine, bright screen, loud speakers, awesome keyboard and great hardware support. I could not recommend more, especially for the price I found it for.

@@Mehmood_Official My long-term review is nothing but stellar. I've owned this computer for a bit over a year and distro hopped 50 plus different Linux distros. I'm currently running Fedora 36 and have been for the past month or so. The computer worked very well with Windows, but I know that it would inevitably slow down. My one and only complaint would be that sometimes the USBC charging port does not work on certain distros. I'm very lucky that I purchased my girlfriend a model that came with a barrel plug charger. The fact that it offers two options has been a lifesaver. It handles heavy video and graphical editing applications with no hiccups. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and printer integration have worked perfectly

Completely agree. I bought this laptop from reliance digital website for 57k after card discount and 6m no cost emi on 31st Oct 2020. Got 1k worth laptop bag free as well. Absolutely amazing laptop for the price, especially in these times when laptop prices have overall become unrealistic. But getting this laptop was just like a lottery. Laptop came in stock in morning and kept playing hide and seek until I was able to finally place the order in the afternoon and then laptop went completely out of stock. Ryzen processor laptops are in huge demand given the huge price to performance ratio compared to intel counterparts.

@@georgythomas8451 I don't see any Ryzen Flex 5 model available in Lenovo official India site. I never knew they launched Ryzen 7 model in Flex 5 in India. Anyways since RAM is soldered, I don't think paying ~ 10k extra makes sense unless the Ryzen 7 model comes with 16gb inbuilt RAM.
@Everyone: The flex 5 Ryzen model that I got is Energy Star Rated meaning battery life is phenomenal unless you are gaming. Casual to Moderate usage 6+ hours batter life is easy with 60-70% brightness.

Entire country is struggling with scarcity of Ryzen 5 3500 series laptops- I have been smashing Lenovo and Asus customer care and stores like Reliane Digital to such an extent that store managers are not picking up my calls.....Its just horrendous to see all teh Ryzen 2020 series laptops are just out of stock after month of June and we are picking up Intel machines...wthell .....we as consumers are so dumb that we dont understand the value of money what Ryzen is giving us....but due to such sluggish demand or Intels strategy, we dnt get Ryzen laptops at all which are good.
I am wondering how did u get hold of this laptop...bcs no store in Bengaluru has any Lenovo machine wit Ryzen 5 be 3500 or 4500..

I completely agree with what you mentioned... It's true that AMD Ryzen 4000 series based laptops are extremely hard to find India, online or offline. And this is not due to genuine supply constraints from AMD, rather it is Intel's coercive marketing dollars which the OEMs are happily accepting to keep AMD out. The OEMs are also pricing the AMD laptops higher than Intel laptops without much upgradeability putting AMD at an automatic disadvantage. Ranjit you must make a video highlighting all this since you know the entire market situation.
@Pervy_Sage I don't think has any OEM has shortage of Ryzen 4500U and 4700U chips as the yields from TSMC seem to be healthy. Shortage of desktop chips are there in the retail DIY market. No OEM can publicly claim that AMD is not able to supply enough.

No second slot. But you can swap a 1TB ssd. The slot space can support longer ssd.

This is indeed very good laptop. Good performance and battery life. I feel i5 11th gen is slow after using this laptop. Downside is display guality which is just ok.

I bought this one 2 months back at ₹56k from a local seller. Even then it was not available online and most of the offline stores! Btw its really good!
Also, i got Back to college offer during August month under which i bought 3 yr Accidental damage protection (ADP) & 2yr additional warranty at ₹1500/- only! Yes it came with a lenovo bag too!

Do u have any stuttering issue with the trackpad and keyboard and pen?
Mine stutter frequently where the trackpad kindof of slows down and after 2 sec it catches upto my movement. The keyboard also doe this and using the pen makes the laptop hand frequently.
Its not a hardware issue, but this seems to be a software issue.
Other than this, I love this laptop

@@kavanpatel325 I'm not talking about physicl smoothness. What I'm experiencing is Input Lag (b/w what I am doing and what happening on the screen) It happenes only occasionally.Not a continuous lag though.
Using the pen also causes windows to freeze temporarily from time to time. Then I have to wait for like 10-15 seconds to "unfreeze" to continue to use it.

You can go for Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 11th Gen Intel Core i3 14-inch. I'm using it for most of my UI design work and I feel it will very easily handle the graphic needs as well. Hope it helps.

KIIt university provided this laptop with i7 and MX 330 GPU but it overheats a lot so please don't go with other variants of this laptop. also on the front right side, you can attach the pen there's some magnet inside it so no need to attach via USB holder.

@@truenoae8689 Fine but I wanted to know from him- in any case I have bought it and it is fine, no issues with durability! They have even included the option to charge a bit only a bit though, slower than the highest possible 65W to protect battery, if you want!

Overall is good combined with AMD Ryzen but Lenovo has provided good experience and addressed very small yet important issues from turning off the mic in software and camera in both software and hardware!
