I purchased a harness from you last year around the summertime and what not and it works great. But the problem that i have been having is there’s a loud dinging sound coming from the truck whenever i start up the engine and when I put it in reverse open doors and seatbelt. how can I fix that? I been meaning to ask you about that for quite some but couldn’t find your email, until I came on here.
First check the amplifier fuse at the interior fuse panel by the passenger left calf.Amplifier fuse is on the bottom row, 3rd from the left.It should be a 30amp fuse. Stock amp could be blown or the pre-amps from the radio might be roasted.Get a DMM and test the low level audio signals first.If your seeing voltage then check the speaker outputs. If you don't see voltage at the low level signals then the preamps are roasted and you need a new radio unit.If you do see voltage there but no voltage at the speaker outputs then you need a new stock amplifier. Be sure to check the 12v,ground and entertainment remote enable wires for voltage too.Any one of those is blank then the stock amp won't power up.If you don't get voltage from the remote then the amplifier circuit in the remote module is fried.

Hello I would like to contact u via email. I have a 15 Terrain I upgraded the amp but I don’t really know much about electrical wiring. The sub I bought was a Rockford fosgate punch I just put it right in the spot where the old one was in the back rear panel but it doesn’t sound much better I’m wondering how to get a full install like yours.
Bought a kit from you. Haven’t installed it yet. But I figured you have the most knowledge, any idea the best way to run the power wire on a 2013 equinox? Is the a spot in the fire wall I can get zero gauge through? Figure I’d ask before I started taking stuff apart. Thanks

Main wire harness by foot pedals.Easiest thing to do is remove the engine compartment fuse panel.That opens the access to the main wire grommet.
