The reason that the collision detection is so broken is because the main focus of the collision was to make sure the player couldn't use trio plane in any areas they weren't supposed to. Basically they broke their game by trying to keep it from breaking.

Step one: you have to be a idiot
Step two: run into a corner
Step three: smack your face into the corner and you're inside the wall.
Corner glitches are the easiest ones to find as creating perfect in game geometry is tough

My favorite glitches are the ones that look like they'd really occur in real gameplay at first glance, so things like getting out of bounds, saving extra abilities, and most of all changing something or someone's model is awesome to me.
I love the Cliping ones
This is still one of my favorite episodes of son of a glitch purely because of how funny it is that rubbing Mario’s face against rocks like a Skyrim horse just completely snaps the game and in half
Step 1. Find a rock.
Step 2. Zigzag.
Step 3. use Trio Grab.
Now you're out of bounds.
You earn a subscriber for comedy
That is the most easy game to glitch out of all of them there's only those three exact step's to making HUGE skip's so you could proboably beat the like 24 hour's earlier than expected

There's this new glitch I found in M&L: Paper Jam.
After defeating an enemy, hit "Save" before the enemy fades away. Once the game has finished saving, exit the game to the home menu and go back into it. The enemy's sprite will still be there in a specific animation, but it's not solid. This is somewhat difficult, because doing it too early or too late won't work.

12:50 walk through walls glitch? Isn't that basically every glitch here?
At exactly 9:23 if you look at the floor near the path to the next area in Gloomy Woods, a tiny purple arrow appears where Luigi is supposed to stand when Trio Grab ends. It's a tad hard to see, so look above the hill on the rightmost screen border and you'll notice it.
Is soppoused to be the game tryting unusual sprites or just an placeholder object or just part of Luigi's shirt lower body...?
Still better than Sonic Boom.

Actually, Mario & Luigi BIS was a very well put together game.
There are very few glitches, and the two that are there are don't really matter.
What? I'd be totally down for it. That's my favorite Mario rpg, it's just that the reality is that there are little to no glitches in that game.

I think my one problem with this game is, it's wasted potential for like weird enemy and story combos with a lot of possibilities. but instead paper mario is tacked onto the game and any cool original enemies ideas are thrown aside for the NEW SUPER MARIO BROS approach.
When I saw the jumping green toad I thought: "It's the toad from Super Mario RPG! He FINALLY brought his bazooka!"

Hey guys, Andy here, sorry its been taking so long to get episodes out, but this one was quite a strange one. When i started working on it, it was only half as broken, then we kept finding new things and it would just add to the episode. It was very exciting to be involved in the community and the guys behind it blow my mind.

I remember a glitch that I did completely on accident. I had left neo bowser castle for something and when I came back the spikes for the bridge section were gone. I thought with trio plane I could make it to the other side and it worked! It's just goes to show that this game is the single most broken game I've encountered. Especially when the spikes disappeared and I did nothing at all.

Because SPM had a great story, as well as PMTTYD, PiT and BIS. The stories of SMRPG, PM and SS were good, the ones of PMSS and PJB were very underwhelming and DTB started off great but then became pretty disappointing.
In the part where you did the walk through walls if you continue to a loading zone you also keep the fast forward, which is very handy for the cave area.

+DieAusrastfunktion can you really patch collision boxes easily is my question. It seems centered around that yeah some things to do with cut scenes can be fixed easily but collision boxes from what I can tell would require a new model being placed in the game for such things.

+DieAusrastfunktion Dream team's patch only fixed stuff that happened during regular gameplay such as the game crashing after one of the final bosses, all skips and such still work on version 1.1

Hey today something strange happend: I performed the west gloomy woods early glitch and the west gloomy woods leaf Clip to play only as luigi.
I was curios what would happen if I enter other areas of west gloomy woods here is what happend:
-entering any area of west gloomy woods with only luigi Starts his scared walking animation again
-entering the room with the King Boo Boss fight wasn’t really surprising. The Cutscene leading to the bossfight doesn't trigger so you can’t fight King Boo. Hitting the heartblock will make the scared walking Animation away but leaving the room starts it again.
- entering the room where mario is captured from the right and jumping on the platform where another Cutscene plays where mario and luigi see fake paper mario at the other side of the river will play the cutscene as normal aside from that mario is invisble. After the Cutscene played, the camara pans on mario who hangs upside down below a nearby ?-Mark Block. However walking inside him doesn't change anything and luigi cannot rescue mario anymore. From that point on the Arrow which points onto your next Destination is at the Boss room of King Boo
- leaving the room where you rescue mario from the left with only luigi crashes the game before the next room loads
You probaly noticed that I repeatantly say with only luigi and such. Thats because you can still get mario with out paper mario.
-entering the bossroom again after the cutscene where mario and luigi see paper mario does strangly teleport you back to the room with mario. Luigi is not seeable but keep making him jump triggers the entrence to the right.
-when you are in the area with the glooming mushrooms mario suddenly appears however he is 90 degrees flipped to the side and walks in the ground. He can still jump and use the Hammer and jump on platforms. you still cannot fight King Boo but you can leave west gloomy woods now from any area. Mario will still stick in the ground but luigi walks normal again. Entering east glooming woods crashes the game but that could also have happend as i skipped that Part of the game with glitches and loading a cutscene without paper mario may simply not work
I will research some more about this. If I find more i will let you know or produce a footage of those glitches

For the first Gloomy Woods early glitch, once Mario is in, use Trio Grab (if you have it) to get both Luigi and Paper Mario in. It makes this MUCH easier!

About the twinsy tropics dungeon shortcut:
When I first did this glitch, I pulled the bridge before going into the battle card room. Since this normally isn’t possible, the game never triggers the battle card cutscene, thinking we already did it. This causes paper goomba to just stand there, and if paper Mario comes into the cell, he will just be able to walk through him. I thought this was an interesting bit of info that you missed.
I really love how after you beat bowser using the glitch you are back where you started the glitch. It's like it all was a dream..

I found one!
In Mt. Brrr, there's one part where you use Trio Glider to reach a higher part.
If you turn around and use it again, fly as far and high as you can.
You'll crash into a wall, and Mario and Luigi should be standing on an invisible platform.
Walk up, and you'll fall out of bounds, where Paper Mario will rejoin you.
Unfortunately, you're stuck. You have to reset the game to continue, and if you save out of bounds, you're screwed.

I love glitches like this. I played this game and never encountered anything game breaking minus when the game froze when I hit the middle boo and a a boo to the right during the boomerang attack for King boo.
This is just extra goodies! Time to play the game again with a different gameplan.

The only reason this game is so glitchy is because Paper Mario is in it. Because as everyone knows, everything crashes Paper Mario.
Don't know why, but seeing the 2mph Luigi always makes me chuckle
at the Twinsy Tropics Dungeon Skip (before torch skip) when going north, don’t trigger the cutscene, but go left. Then, slowly go up to the Goomba’s cell door. Enter it while he’s in there, and since Nintendo never expected players to do this, the Goomba has no collision, so you can walk through him

The instant battle glitch was so helpful to me I got annoyed with all the bosses and that glitch helped me instantly beat it
