Since I found your channel recently, I have to tell you that I love the way you show how you cut your fabric. It makes it so easy to understand. Great pattern and tutorial, too.
Such a cute quilt & perfect for some of those larger prints. I have a layer cake of Liberty fabric that I've been holding on to & I think this might be the perfect pattern to use it for. Thanks for sharing!!
I love this layer cake! small prints, flowers and leaves! It looks very spring which is my my fav season. and you make it sole easy. I'd like to see the whole thing when you're done quilted it.
Great pattern, love your instruction videos - simple and effective. Made this with “daybreak” layer cake by Riley Blake - yes, the scrappy look is very cool - thank you for sharing.
You can of course do whatever you please to your quilt. 🤗 There are no wrong answers, but it will look very scrappy and might not see the 'log cabin block' traditionally speaking, but I do think it would look scraptastic!! 😁
Love this! Just started, but quick question. Do we always press open the seams after putting the pieces back together? Thanks again for your amazing tutorials. ♥️
You can press your seams however you'd like. I am a fan of pressing seams to the dark side, but sometimes with blocks that have multiple seams it is easier to press seams open.
I'd love to quilt your quilt! ❤ Link: www.moonkinstitchery.com/longarmquiltingservices

I love love the quilt n video. Could it be made more scrappy by not matching some of the 2 inch strips n still get the long cabin affect?
You can of course do whatever you please to your quilt. 🤗 There are no wrong answers, but it will look very scrappy and might not see the 'log cabin block' traditionally speaking, but I do think it would look scraptastic!! 😁
could this be made with charms and a jelly roll or is the block larger then 5 inches?
Love this! Just started, but quick question. Do we always press open the seams after putting the pieces back together? Thanks again for your amazing tutorials. ♥️

Hi, thank you for this great video ❤😊 will one layer cake make enough squares for the baby size ( 20 squares) quilt top ?
Thank you
Depends on the layer cake's Manufacturer you buy. Some have anywhere between 20 to 42 counts. ☺️
❤❤❤
Love pattern! What fabric line did you use?
Thank You! The fabric I am using is Hibiscus by Simple Simon for Riley Blake Designs. 😊
how can i adjust this for using a jelly roll? thanks
How can I do this with 5 inch squares? Please
👍
Where do I find the pattern? New subscriber! Loved this!
Link is in the description of the video. 😁
Where is the pdf?
In the description of the video. 🤗
What is the finished size?
That depends, the PDF pattern has four sizes available, crib, throw, twin, queen, and king. 😀
Dumb question. Why 8 3/4? Why not 8 1/5?
