You could also just loop the secondary cooling circuit by bypassing the heat exchanger so then you aren’t losing the capacity. Obviously not as efficient as switching to the manual radiator but it makes the difference a lot more negligible. I’d probably loop it until the radiator fails somehow and then only upgrade to the manual one
Thanks for the video. In the process of doing something similar. For the line rubber line coming off the metal coolant pipe, where did you find the OE plug? I got confused there.
could you possibly sell me one of those plugs or tell me how you made one please? My hose wont stop leaking after a few heat cycles, no plugs worked for me .
@@DarkePeak Never would have known that you lose cooling capacity. Almost did this, it sucks because I just installed the Aluminum Automatic CSF Radiator. My DCT temps are reaching 205 degrees.
great info brother…well done, cheers!

Thanks for the video. Good info to know.

The plug I describe is one from the BMS kit. I didn’t have a BMS kit so I cut the line and used a 13mm poly end plug (for 13mm drip line).
Thank you. I plan to do something similar. If I can access the nipple on the hard pipe, I will can’t there. If not, I will go the plug route.

such a gate keeper whats the point of offering half-assed advice or "knowledge"
where could I get the plug for the radiator so I dont need to run any hoses.
I had to custom make them. I couldn’t find anywhere to purchase them.
@@DarkePeak would you be able to make another and sell me it?
Google AI supports your video lol, they list your video as most helpful
Haha. Good to have AI on my side
