Dude! You just saved me from buying another joycon, it was exactly that little fuse that was dead on my joycon! it was tricky to solder such a tiny area but i did it, i did not used a wire i just placed a blob of solder to unite both ends as my solder iron tip is not that small. Thanks heaps! Long Live to U my Friend!
Thank you for this video. It helped me fix my problem with battery not charging. The exact same fuse on my joycon was blown so it was not charging. After I removed it and joined the two points on the board the battery is once again charging. Thank you for this video once again.
randomly got your video. jumper those two point and violaa... my broken joycon that not charging for 2 month now fixed . thanks a lot bro for your video. 🙏🙏🙏
@@dingoosh i switched my joycon shell and i had the extact issue. Worked in dock mode but didnt charge or work wirelessly. I have looked all over the board and i didnt have a chip broken but i assume i could fried some chip. So i decided to buy a cheap one on ebay and just see if its the board and if so ill use the new on and sell the board for parts but thank you !
My problem seems to be it won’t charge even if it says it is when it’s on the switch, but works connected all buttons work and everything. Battery doesn’t seem to charge and will not work wireless at all.. I was changing the joystick, got it in fine.. And the sync button wasn’t working right.. I didn’t wanna open it back up cause I could attach it and then it work wirelessly, but I wanted to fix the sync button issue.. since it was my first time I felt like I’d mess something else up but I didn’t expect for the whole thing to stop working wirelessly.🤦🏻♂️ I was gonna ask do you have any videos/ or idea what may be cause it. I don’t have any way to check the pins or connect anything together. Might need to invest in the stuff since I want to try and repair my stuff sometimes.
By paper things, im assuming you mean the ribbon cables, they are cables that are VERY sensitive that go into the motherboard. In order to reinsert them you need to unlock the correct plug in for the cable, slip it in there and lock it again. If you break it, dont hesitate, they can be replaced pretty cheaply.
how to fix a joy con that has erratic behavior on the joystick, replacing the joy stick did not fix the issue, the joy stick is not being detected, and it rail is good on the switch and joy con
I literally have a animal crossing console witch was used for a max of 3 hours and I let it sit for a year after that and now the right controller doesn't turn on lol nintendo charges more for there controllers than ps5 or Xbox and they are 3x more fucked
So my problem was so I was playing let's go evee (my normal day thing lol) but then I got mad because I lost so I threw it so now the blue one doesn't change-

Gracias por el vídeo me ayudaste muchísimo a reparar mi joy con que no cargaba por un corto.
I had the same problem. I just broke off the fuse and used silver solder paint in a syringe to close the circuit. 6 months and still going.
Im a kid yet ;-; thats hard
my joycons are working fine. im just here to relax
lucky mine aren't connecting and they're disconnected :/
What is the spare part name of the fuse or how do I ask for it in the store?
can you do a video where you fix a joy con that wont be detected while not in hand held mode

I think my battery connector died and the charging connector or port died too or i just didnt put the charger cable in far enough
Is it the same when it shows as charged on the charging dock, but it won't turn on regardless of what button I push?
What happens the the little paper things that connect top and bottom fall off

excellent video very well presented i would of just binned them and bought new
I replaced my left joystick and it stopped working... I can't fix it... any recommendations?
I'm sorry, but don't the rails need to be powered to be detected by the Switch?

my joycon is acting like the red one. ordered a new rail and battery. Praying that it fixes my issue 🙏
did it fix it?

I just fixed it myself by just holding a button for 10 sec and connect it to the Switch fast
i wish i can just do that but the right side will not connect
That worked for me

Did you open it?
Joy-cons are a nightmare. Poor reliability quality on Nintendo's part
Lol
