Have you ever repaired a switch lite with this fault? I have one and I replaced the Realtek chip two times. All the components on the outside habe the same resistances as on a working console. The Speakers have a normal resistance as well. The chip is soldered well I have checked all pins under the microscope.

My problem seems to be it won’t charge even if it says it is when it’s on the switch, but works connected all buttons work and everything. Battery doesn’t seem to charge and will not work wireless at all.. I was changing the joystick, got it in fine.. And the sync button wasn’t working right.. I didn’t wanna open it back up cause I could attach it and then it work wirelessly, but I wanted to fix the sync button issue.. since it was my first time I felt like I’d mess something else up but I didn’t expect for the whole thing to stop working wirelessly.🤦🏻‍♂️ I was gonna ask do you have any videos/ or idea what may be cause it. I don’t have any way to check the pins or connect anything together. Might need to invest in the stuff since I want to try and repair my stuff sometimes.

Dude! You just saved me from buying another joycon, it was exactly that little fuse that was dead on my joycon! it was tricky to solder such a tiny area but i did it, i did not used a wire i just placed a blob of solder to unite both ends as my solder iron tip is not that small. Thanks heaps! Long Live to U my Friend!

Is it the same when it shows as charged on the charging dock, but it won't turn on regardless of what button I push?

Thank you for this video. It helped me fix my problem with battery not charging. The exact same fuse on my joycon was blown so it was not charging. After I removed it and joined the two points on the board the battery is once again charging. Thank you for this video once again.

did you try a different dock? Mine kids switch does this, hoping its the dock rather than chip

It would have been useful to reball from scratch. May be you should try to reball it. Use solder balls and Wick all pads clean and use a jig and template to reball.

What temperature and air flow are easy to remove the cpu on Switch ?

Dude have you ever figured out what causes the switch to boot and then shut down my son damaged the cartridge port from cleaning fluid erosion I managed to clean up the board losing game cartridge use as the connector got damaged connecting from logic board point, the nand seems fine and data still on unit just keeps shutting down swiftly after boot logo sometimes see home screen only way to see this is actually disconnecting battery and reconnecting something is tripping it.

I had the same problem. I just broke off the fuse and used silver solder paint in a syringe to close the circuit. 6 months and still going.

My sons switch barely got a drop of moisture bc I was watching him. Dried for 48hrs and even took it apart and there is no damage visible. Wont do anything.

You need to swap the anti piracy chip behind the game card reader connector on the motherboard to do a CPU swap. I have experimented with this and you can swap using just the CPU, NAND and anti piracy chip but the times I got it to work I couldn’t get it to update after. I’m still testing but messing with the anti piracy chip on a working switch has caused it not to update either. I am still testing and will be releasing an update on my channel soon

Dose the nan chip have all the memory of the switch. And if u did take that chip out of a switch and load it into anouther switch would it have all the saved data.

Is the nand where everything is stored so could I take it out my broken one a put it in a new one ?
