it is just breaking of EULA, and usually, this is not worth the time and money pursuing a lawsuit. plus, it is not as simple as a double click of an app, it requires skill to get a proper hackintosh working.

Unibeast isn’t great as it isn’t always up to date. Vanilla install is much better

Unibeast is notorious for creating issues, you guys should consider a vanilla install of clover to get a better configuration.
DON'T use HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) if you're using an SSD. APFS is going to have superior performance and longevity.
I got an ad from Austin Evens and didn’t realize it wasn’t the video I had clicked on for 20 seconds. I had to hear “Hey guys this is Austin” twice. 😤

I just built one of these. NUC7i5, 32GB Crucial memory, 500GB Samsung Evo Plus. I built to whole computer for $510 (thanks to an open box NUC at $269). This computer is great for my kids to do their homework with. Yes, it's not a gaming beast, but that is not what I wanted (and neither is a Mac Mini BTW). It's a great little computer, and is completely stable on 10.14.6.

I have done Hackintosh and it works with supported hardware but it's such a hassle to keep a workable system up. Each time a MacOS Upgrade comes out something breaks... I just gave up and installed Win 10 again and moved on.

A vanila install should be much better without those issues. They are even guides by RehabMan for these NUC's and everything is working except the Wi-Fi.

You were doing so well until you used that desgusting trabbish called unibeast and then unibeast, that's some of the worst trash you can use to build a hackintosh, plese switch to vanilla, do not support that trash

DO NOT USE UNIBEAST and especially DO NOT USE MULTIBEAST. They will break systems. Creater your own Clover installer and get your post-install stuff separately, configure your system with Clover Configoruator. MUCH MUCH BETTER than anyBeast.

Thank you for being honest about how annoying it is due to all the problems and incompatibilities. It’s not smooth sailing at all. Even if you kind of get some of it to work, other issues make it a bad experience. This is from someone who prefers macOS to windows btw. But hackintoshing is horrible. Kext nightmares. WiFi issues. Audio issues. Freezing issues.
Some issues with this video.
1 - DO NOT use Unibeast/Multibeast. Do a vanilla install. You are much better off in the long run.
2 - You do not need a Mac to create the install media. You can easily find instructions to make the installer using Windows.
The install issues they had are almost certainly due to using the *beast method.
OR do install with VMWare

Using Unibeast ? Why not doing a Vanilla installation on a usb stick via the macOS terminal and then using Clover to inject your kext at bootloader ?
Why a Vanilla installation you would ask ? Certainly because a vanilla setup implies that the OS itself remains relatively untouched - and that the bulk of the Hackintosh-related kexts, patches, etc are contained on the EFI partition. For all intents and purposes, a vanilla install's main partition is identical to that of an official Apple computer. 🙂
You didn't solve your WiFi issue, didn't explain much.
He touched on it early in the video: get a USB WiFi adapter compatible with Mac OS. I personally don't like the solution.
my hackintosh is more stable than my current mac laptop. RX580 + 7700k. Incredible stable setup, all USB-C working, thunderbolt all working, everything. Reboot, Sleep etc. everything works. I think your guys issue is due to you using TonyMacX86 which adds a lot of crap you don't need and isn't always up to date with it's kext etc. The less non-apple stuff you have, the more stable it will be.
This. Just use Vanilla + Clover and throw in some kexts and you're good to go most of the time.
@@Koffiato yep. I only use a specific kext for Gigabit Ethernet on my Asus mobo, other than that it's just the basic ones... USBInjectAll, WhateverGreen/Lilu, FakeSMC and AppleALC... next time I'll try VirtualSMC, but FakeSMC is super stable so for that reason I haven't replaced it.

please next time use tinu, not any tools from tonymacx86. his tools are changing some things on your Mac os installer, and there are discussions about it even installing keyloggers. Just use Tinu, it's better

You actually don't have to have a Mac product to build a Hackintosh, you can find the OS and all the necessary files online
But that'd be pirating and Hackintosh people strongly against it.
@@Koffiato well, by installing mac os you are effectively violating apple's terms, you're already pirating software
To add to this there are open source installers that pull the from Apple directly so that you can hackintosh without pirating.
Or you could just run mac os on a vm

You can't buy a dual core Mac Mini anymore. Quadcore is standard and it goes to six core.

@@TechDunk The Macbook Pro without touch bar hasn't been updated for quite a while. Can't recommend that to anyone. But to be fair, this video is about a desktop system, which usually have a higher core count.

To be fair, if you look of the build quality of the Nuc compared to the Mac Mini it is as black and white. The Nuc is obviously cheaper just by looking at it. Build quality is definitely the one thing that Apple has above everyone. (imo)

Anyway, the problem is that Apple sets a massive premium price on all of their products while not necessarily having premium, high spec components.
You don't need a Mac, you can do all the things on Windows PC, for creating a Live USB for Mac OS I mean.
