Sanding sealer brings out the beautiful grain unfortunately it is toxic cannott use for food purpose. But a nice Ornament.

I have a laser engraver, so I make the discs myself on 3mm hardboard. I think that there are Etsy sellers who produce and sell custom discs. Thanks for watching

I believe the berries and needles are poisonous, not the wood itself.
The sawdust has very long fibers and tbey are strong so a bit like asbestos. Keep it out of your lungs and you should be good. Beautiful wood!!
Yew is particularly bad for cattle, so the few trees that are left are often found around churches.

I thought yew wood was too dangerously poison to turn or work by hand. Is this not so?
English long bows were made from Yew in the Medieval and Tudor periods.
It's a lovely wood to turn, as it cuts so well. I just make sure that I wear a high quality dust mask and let people know not to use it for food stuffs.
There are lots of beautiful woods, why use a poisonous wood. You should burn it!
The beauty of yew is so captivating… plus it was sourced locally, which is always my preference.
