The passport agency is requiring with correct postage and tracking number. You can use the self- service machine at the post office lobby or you can check inside to process and mailing it inside. Keep the receipt for tracking number purposes

I have a couple questions that you haven't addressed.
1. My personal check has a spot that says "for" at the bottom. Is this where I put my name and DOB?
If I put it at the top, it might interfere with the date of the check.
2. You didn't explain the square box with rounded corners at the top of page 1 of the form.
The lower small boxes are labeled D, O, S and NFR.
Then under that it says End # _______ Exp ________
What am I supposed to put there, or do I leave it blank?

I was not born in the US. The application is asking for the City and Country for place of birth. If I completely write out the city and country of my birth, it won’t fit. Can I abbreviate the country I am from on the application?

I am not sure about Passport renewal thru online. You can double check at Travel.state.gov.. as I known, you have to send the actual application and supporting documents by mail to Department of state.

If you pay less than a dollar for stamp. It will be postage due but if you pay more than $10, $12 dollars it should be okay for postage coverage.

On the travel state gov. Website it says the book cost 130 and the card is 30 where is the $110 coming from? I’m confused and I am just trying to renew my passport and card
$110 is what the book used to cost before they raised it to $130. You are right about the books price and you would need a money order or check for $160 if you wish to renew both at the same time. Of course this does not include expedited processing and/or 1-2 day shipping.

Hi! The US passport of my grandson expired last March 2021 & he was 14 yrs when he was issued his 1st passport & that was 2016. Now that he's turning 20 next month, what form will he used for renewal & if ever, is he still consider minor?
Hello, he’s first U.S Passport he was a minor. Minor cannot renew. it has to apply a new application process. Then, now he is 20 yrs old he has to apply a new application process. And after he got the new passport he is considering adult then he can renew his own passport. Sorry for late response.
The form is DS-11 For new application process. Check out my U.S Passport process for New application or brand new applicant. Check it out before going to Post office.

@@celiapadilla5056 He cannot Renew because his first U.S Passport he was a minor. So, He has to apply a New one / New Application process. It means start from the beginning. For more information you can double check to Travel.state.gov or stop by at your local Post Office

Renewal process is more easy than new application process. New application process you have to make an appointment and Payment for department of state $130 for adult and with extra execution fee of $35, bring your original birth certificate, evidence of U.S citizenship and Proof of identification. Whereas Renewal process is very simple and easy. You can prepare it own your own and send it to Department of State with complete requirements. You have to apply New application process and file for lost and stolen. There a form to fill out and bring it with you. For further information go visit travel.state.gov.
You can also spend another 150 in addition to all the Passport fees on the US Department of State Check or money order for a file search where they can look up your passport. This is an option if you do not have your birth or naturalization certificate with you.
Do I include all fees (this includes passport book fee, expedited $60 fee, and 1-2 day delivery fee) all on 1 check?
Yes, all those fees you can write it in one check. Expedited Service fee is $190 and for additional fee for returning back 1 to 2 days for $18.52

Great video - thanks! Some quick questions. I’ve decided to pay $160 by USPS money order to renew my passport ($130 for book, $30 for card).
1.) On the money order, the address under “Pay to”, do I put the address of the passport agency that I am mailing to, even though the money order is being paid to U.S. Department of State?
2.) For the money order memo, should I put my DOB there? Or next to my name at the “From” section of the money order?
Question 1.) you don’t have to put the US department address. Question 2.) On the MEMO line DOB.

Depending on the service you are going to choose. Are you going to sending it Routine or Expedite Service?. Both address Routine and Expedited Service are on the front page of the form.
