Does it really take 10 seconds to turn off advance traction control?? I swear if I hold mine down for 3 seconds it will still turn it off. I believe it’s 3 seconds. At least for my EcoBoost. Great video! I just got my ecoboost and haven’t used the paddle shifters just yet. I like the paddle shifter mod you have too
Great video bud, 10R80 trans are the best, you can bang through the gears and they hit hard. Only thing that I don't like is when you're at the top of the gear band and you need to decelerate really quick, it doesn't, it will continue to accelerate through that gear, then it will decelerate. It will make your butt puker real quick when it first happens to you, cause you think you're losing control of the car
Thank you! Ha that is very true! That has scared me a few times in low speed scenarios where it plus through first into second dispute lifting off the gas mid way through lol
Lol mine is procharged too so the boost is built up also, so I have the power band built up and the boost lol. Its definitely scary, but its a wild ride
Thank you! If I’m in full manual mode then yes I’ll shift it down when i come to a stop. I found it can clunk down to a low gear if I don’t. But maybe yours will be different lol. And yup You can downshift while braking. Thanks for watching!
@@daily_driven I have a 300A without the drive modes so maybe that's the issue. I don't really want to get a tune since I still have 2 years left on the powertrain.
Good video bro now I’m going to use my shift pedals … yeah those chickens go to the farms on Gainesville that’s where I went last weekend . No precísele to the chicken plant but I was there. Hey in September is going to be the Mustang week on Myrtybeach are you coming ?
Fyi...there is a Sport steering mode on the Base model. You have to press the button with the steering wheel on it in order to switch it. Great video though...wish I had gotten the premium but I'm happy with the metrics on my Base. It's the same Metallic as yours, it also already had the same badge 2.3 badge you have, plus the mag and stripes package.
Yes you can drive in sport + when in the normal D mode. There’s no point in running manual mode(S) in sport+ as sport + is optimized to accelerate quickly
I’ve had my 2020 Premi for a few months and still haven’t used the paddle shifters - afraid I’ll screw something up. But I guess the computer won’t allow that, like HAL “I’m sorry, I’m afraid I can’t allow you to shift that way“. How do you display which gear you are in on the dash? Haven’t figured that out. I’m going to have to break down and unwrap the owner manual from the plastic. 🙀😹
Lol! Yeah give it a try! In normal “D” mode the car will not let you do anything crazy but in sport mode on the gear selector gives you all the control. Once you click one of the paddles the gear your in will come up on the gauge cluster screen. Lol I have yet to look at mine!
Great video broski! Love the edits and humor!
Thank you! Had to work some of that in lol
Snow mode is great with drag radials in the rain if you get caught in it.
Advance Trac off = Crowd control mode
Nice video Tyler! Love that drag strip mode!!
Thanks! Yeah it’s a fun one! Ha

Great video bro, I have a question. When you are coming to a stop should you always down shift? And can you downshift while breaking

My biggest dislike with the 10R80 transmission is the unresponsive shifts when in manual paddle shift mode.
Yeah it can feel slow to shift for me in lighter driving but shifts pretty quick when in sport plus and getting on it.

Great video. What do you think about the GT500 front bumper conversion?
Thanks! I really like the GT500 bumpers! I’ve seen a few that really transform the look of the car
