If you read through the context of the aya you will see that it is a statement regarding the loh e mahfooz, and the word pure is referring to the angels . The background is that it is an answer given to the non believers who said that the shaytan interferes with the message being brought down to rasool Allah sw. hence this aya cannot be used to answer this question. There is nothing on the Quran or Saheeh Hadith which prohibits women from reading/touching Quran during their periods. The advice about using gloves etc is just as a respect for the Quran but there is no prohibition. Allah o alam.

Yes sister, you can do ibadah. you can make dua. do dhikr, listen to tafsir, read Quran without touching the mushaf, recite Quran from memory, read Quran on Ipad, phone, make dua,... so much you can do inshaAllah.

We can touch quran without wudhu .. but if we do wudhu before reading quran its good(afzal) .. in the quran allah says we couldn't touch the quran without wudhu but not for this quran . This daleel given for the real quran which is safe in the lohe mehfooz but we got this daleel wrong ourself we think we coudn't touch this quran without wudhu which is not true...plzz read the tarzuma of quran than we got right information..

I know you definitely CAN read the Quran. But touching is an issue only during the actual bleeding. Not for discharge.
