Modesty means you follow the commands of Allah - Seek knowledge of your Deen and Dunya, be patient and resolute and certainley canceal your adornment except what is naturally apearrant, as for the weak is you becoming an object in the hands of the evil mankind, and the slave of your desires.
After listening to this sharing, Alhamdulillah, it changes my mindset. Now, whenever i start to complain while doing chores, i could hear me asking myself "what are you doing, oh servant of Allah?" my reply "i am performing an ibadah by cleaning my house" "Ya Allah, plse accept it"
The best way to know about a author is to read their book So if you want to know about Allah, and build your relationship with Allah, read Quran, understand it
I fully agree that "The best way to know about a author is to read their book". In addition to which, I would recommend that you also read both Sahih hadith collections (al-Bukhari and Muslim), which are the most authenticated biographies of Muhammad, and the interpretations of a globally renowned exegete such as Ibn Kathir. However, the most important piece of advice I can impart is that you read them, objectively, for yourself and do not be influenced by Muslim apologists or Dawah practitioners who are simply attempting to proselytize you to convert to Islam. They will often impart an interpretation of Islamic doctrine which is absolutely implausible when compared to the original Quranic text or to the words and deeds of Muhammad. Remember, in Surah 15:1 of the Quran, Allah states that:......."These are the verses of the Book and (of) a Quran that makes (things) CLEAR"..... The definition of the word "CLEAR" is:...."easy to perceive, understand or interpret. Unambiguous".... Consequently, if anyone tells you that the text of the Quran doesn't really mean what it says and that they need to interpret it for you, they are clearly implying that Allah was incapable of achieving his objective of making the Quran "CLEAR" (easy to perceive, understand or interpret. Unambiguous) and that they are better qualified to do so. By definition, such a claim is not only profoundly blasphemous, it questions the very omnipotence of God. Furthermore, you should also bear in mind that every Muslim believes that the Quran is the direct, literal, unquestionable, unalterable and eternal word of Allah and that Muhammad is the most perfect ever human being and role model and whose example is good for ALL TIMES AND IN ALL PLACES. The greatest fear of Muslim apologists and Dawah practitioners is not that you will misinterpret or misunderstand the Quran or the.actions and words of Muhammad, but that you will fully understand them and that, if you are a non-Muslim you will not convert to Islam, or if, as was the case with myself, you are a Muslim, you will, most likely, renounce the Islamic faith. And one final word of caution:.....if you do allow yourself to be indoctrinated by disingenuous Muslim apologists or Dawah practitioners, you should be aware that, should you later decide to renounce that faith, the prescribed Islamic punishment is death.
Every woman, regardless of religion or belief, needs to hear this. Wisdom of the elders right here. This was beautiful and thank you - with love from Africa.
I’m crying because narcissistic and abusive teachings have kept so many people from feeling the love and guidance of Allah SWT. I wish for everyone to heal and fine God right inside of us 💜
You have only yourself to blame sis - Allah sent us the lessons and the wisdoms and the cures of everything, its all in His book - Elquraan - keep reading it and keep reflecting and pondering on it.
Goodness! That was sweet and encouraging of you! Did your mother never teach you that if you cannot find anything nice to say then it's better to say nothing at all?
Im hispanic and raised Catholic, I just started reading/listening to the Quran and i don’t think a book has made me cry as much as this book did. I initially started reading it to understand but now im fighting with myself because this calls to me but im scared. Not of the religion or the beliefs but of my family and friends, i know this is proof that im not ready but i am trying my best to learn more for when i am ready.

I'm an atheist, have always been but I've been interested in Islam for awhile now. The first country I've visited was Tunisia, I also lived in Senegal in a Muslim family for 6 months. I ordered The Clear Quran a few days ago and am watching this video today. As a 31 year old woman from Italian/catholic background in a very atheist society (the province of Québec, Canada) with a bachelor's degree in Earth sciences, it's challenging to reconcile my spiritual quest with my background, beliefs and values. I believe in science, I believe in women's rights, I believe in LGBTQ+ rights. I stand for social and environmental justice but also take interest in Islam. Is it possible to reconcile all this ?
Sister I suddenly came across with your comment and want to say as a friend that learn more about Islam. After that, you will come to understand Islam is not just a religion, it is not just include some instructions or smth like that. You will certainly realise that Islam is the only Truth (with the evidences of science and spirit). Let's go into your comment in detail=> of course, you can reconcile your beliefs towards women rights and science in Islam!) Because women are valued, cherished, appreciated by us in order to please the Creator bcs it is what He wants) We consider Paradise is literally under the feet of our mothers... Similarly, Science was born with the will of God. Allah wants us to be a seeker of knowledge. But when it comes to LGBT, I firmly believe that you have been impacted by the current society (it is what the society wants you to be........you know what I mean) I am a Muslim woman and I am treating and advising you like a friend, learn, search for yourself...seek the truth for eternity I hope you will not be blinded by social propaganda like other were done... Best wishes my sis ♡ )
Islam is not against science. It’s actually for it. So you can keep your love for science and believe in Islam. There’s a verse which insinuates the Big Bang in the Quran (: As for LGBTQ rights, we believe it’s a sin for straight people, whether married or unmarried or gay people, to show public affection. Gay people cannot marry, so they cannot act on their desires. God tests us all in different ways. There are many LGBTQ Muslims who give that up for God, knowing that it’s for the best and that in life, we are always going to be tested with all sorts of sins. Islam means submission to God entirely. That means there will be many things we must let go of to do that. That's how we prove to God we are sincere. We all sin, and sins don't take us out of Islam. We try our best to do good, and if we fall into sin then we repent. In Islam, we are told to stand up for what is right. If we see oppression, we must speak against it. Taking care of the environment is also encouraged. As long as it doesn't go against God's law. Such as speaking for LGBTQ is against what Allah said. Regardless, in Islam, we are kind to all, but we stay firm in our beliefs. I hope you find your way back to Allah 💕

@Soldier368you don’t see brothers doing that because most scholars ARE men, there’s no need to point out the obvious majority. And praising one group doesn’t mean bashing the other?? if i was to say ‘i like pancakes, they’re my favourite food’ does that translate over to i hate waffles or french toast?? no. I suggest you stop assuming negatively of someone who obviously had good intentions, and may Allah guide us all.
@SlaveofGod010 with full respect to our brothers that are really the greatest scholars, unfortunately, they are unable to rely the message well to the sisters as they always try to view women's mindset from their perspective and based on what they read and knowledge they gained Unfortunately though this is not enough and many (despite the very good intentions) rely the knowledge in a very unappealing way and illogical to us especially the modesty aspect. They always fail to understand that women's fitra is beauty therefore being modest is a big challenge to many of us and I was not able to understand this till I listened to women scholars and finally became a hijabi elhamdulellah. Same thing for pregnancy and motherhood concerns...etc.
What a powerful podcast. So many reminders. It made me tear up several times. 😢💗 And then at the end when she said ask Allah "Are you happy with me?" I was eagerly waiting for her answer when they asked "So can women have it all?" She completely deflected it back to the "all" of the Aakhirah. That is wisdom. And that is our purpose. May Allah SWT reward her abundantly for her naseeha, make it heavy on her scales yaa rabb and be pleased with her. Ameen

Very grateful to Allāh for gifting us with Dr. Sheikha Haifaa Younis. She is such a blessing and example to us modern-day women. I wish I had a friend like her- she does not sugarcoat anything EVER when it comes to encouraging others in the deen. There’s no excuses with her. I can’t wait to raise my daughter looking up to the Sheikha and other women who put Allāh first just like her in shaa Allāh ❤️

Jazak-Allah Khairun for this podcast! Every topic was like learning a new way to think. I personally loved it when Dr. Haifaa adviced to ask Allah "Are you happy with me?". That touched really deep. And the moral of the story comes, that when we aim for the Akhirah, anyone, can have it all!
We should be like Asiya. The wife of the pharaoh, the wealthiest and most powerful man of Egypt at that time. She had wealth and status yet she chose Allah. Allah honoured her by telling us her story and her dua in the Quran. ❤❤❤
Such a heartfelt podcast ❤ all her words and quoting were so powerful. Tear up 😢with this point “ ask Allah every morning and night that are you happy with me” so touching🤎
These are the kind of contents I'd like to see and watch, especially from muslim sisters. The influence they make. This is how to use the platform responsibly to bring people back to Islam, and to influence, educate, encourage people right way. Alhamdulillah for your good work. ❤❤❤ I hope more people can watch ur channel. It is badly needed in this world we live in today. Asalaamu alaikum.. I really appreciate this talk from Dr. Younis. Alot of the things she discussed are upon the way that Islam was taught to me and she presents a lot of good viewpoints regarding the Muslimah in her home, society, and the workplace. May Allah bless her for reminding us mothers about our role in society as an employee, a wife, and a mother. Sometimes, life gets really hectic and places so many demands on us, that the lines get blurred seemingly enough, together. I need to watch this again to be able to fully process her speech. I (a Muslim man) watched the whole podcast, was very beneficial, may I ask why you think every Muslim man should watch it, what about women, does every Muslim woman not need to watch it
My beloved husband passed away 20/09/23, unexpected. This was my second marriage. I am into pieces and struggling without him. We both had our struggles before we met but after we met we were the best team. He lookafter my girls from the first marriage and I. I am struggling to survive. I want to be with him but I have my girls on the other side , they need me. Ya Allah, pls help me/ us. I need to learn more about Islam to understand this. Ya Allah!!
My dear sister, may Allah keep you strong in faith. I know what you are going is very hard, but our Lord will make a way out of these tough times. May Allah be with you where ever you are my sister. How many TH-cam videos do you watch daily of non Muslims without any hijab and you have no issue, but when it comes to Muslims, you are quick to criticize. Secondly, how many women do you look at on TH-cam and in real life. If you focus 20% of the energy in taking YOURSELF to account that you go around criticizing others, it would be better for you.

And nothing but genuine spirit in her and what she says. Ma shaa Allāh tabarak Allāh. I can’t wait to raise my daughter looking up to the Sheikha and other women who put Allāh first just like her in shaa Allāh ❤️
I like the way she says "Period" So sweet and simple
May Allah bless me and every girl with such great knowledge and understanding of islam...aameen ya rab😢
May Allah [ Swt ] Bless you too Sister you are precious and Special and Unique and You Matter too Don't Forget that Sister Ameen ❤ 😢 ya rabb. May Allah Swt Guide us All Ameen.❤❤❤😢 Humanity is Important For the Growth of This World.❤

MashaAllah there is a lot to take from this one hour. I was really in need to hear all of this today. May Allah reward all of you for making these videos.
SoubhanAllah, this magnificent speech should be translated into all languages in the world.
Jazakum Allahu Kheyr.
Such a beautiful conversation ever i heard…
Jazakallah
Much respect from 🇵🇰
Subhanallah...Dr Haifaa my role model ❤
We should be like Asiya. The wife of the pharaoh, the wealthiest and most powerful man of Egypt at that time. She had wealth and status yet she chose Allah. Allah honoured her by telling us her story and her dua in the Quran. ❤❤❤
It's easy to say but very difficult to be like Asiya who was oppressed night and day by Firaun..
Such a heartfelt podcast ❤ all her words and quoting were so powerful. Tear up 😢with this point “ ask Allah every morning and night that are you happy with me” so touching🤎
Mashallah, beautiful podcast. Dr. Haifaa Younis spoke with grace and her words were amazing.
Alhamdulillah for having such Sisters in Islam. Allahumma Barik Lakum Jamee'an

Thank you for this beautiful meeting with beautiful doctor. Very interesting interview. Jazakum Allahu Khayran❤
Its so refreshing to see, sisters focused in the Akhira instead of focusing in seeking success this dunya. ❤ Thank you.

To be Frank sheikha haifaa younis is a great preacher among women, really I love her videos and she runs Jannah institute may allah reward her aameen.....
Alhamdulillah
This eposide is full of many lessons to every woman, great work

Feel very honoured and priveliged to hear her knowledge and wisdom, may allah swt reward her. ❤️🤲🏽

Every Muslim man and woman should watch. I just wanted to emphasize the men since this is not the main target audience I guess

Thanks for including only sisters in this podcast, unlike the other podcasts where there'd be non-mahram men & women intermixing together with no lowering of gazes whatsoever

What who cares about non muslim shows , this sister is talking about our shariah rollings nothing to do with being judgmental 🤷♀️
@@stepstojannah8173 Your job isn’t to enforce sharia. Unless you are a scholar, you are not supposed to go around policing people. You may advise your close relatives and your closest friends, and that’s it.
