I love how this mission feels like a truly siege. Mengks and his Dominion forces dont hesitate sending all power against the UED. Good job, Captain

Major Plot Hole: Where did Raynor come from? How did he got off Zerg infested Aiur to go to Korhal? Did Kerrigan somehow reach out to Raynor to rescue Arcturus Mengsk? Why rescue Mengsk of all people? If so, will he agree to this?
All of these questions are answered in the Vanguard of Aiur custom campaign.

@@kiraxbara456blitz6 But it was after the UED campaign. The fact Kerrigan contacted Raynor on Aiur in the UED campaign is a big plot hole.

@@razorback9999able How did you know it's was after the UED campaign? Raynor and Fenix was together on Aiur with the Zerg. It's VERY possible that they met Kerrigan at that point.
So sad they Rushed the game back then. No Alexander model, no updates to attack and defense points in stuff like structure armor or anti air turrets. The research options, at las for the campaign, would demonstrate de technical superiority of UED, Shacuras and Kerrigan Brood, over other factions.

It's awkward represrenting the Aleksander with a regular BC with the name just changed while retaining the BC's commodore rank cuz of SC1 limitations. Ofc that's justifiable at that time, that there are plenty of rushed content that are left unused ingame, like the Raszagal corsair and Stukov's ingame unit which is unusable at all and uses the ghost quotes

"Mengsk is an accomplished tactician" my ass; citizen Mengsk is too stupid to even repair his command center. You can beat this mission with just a single nuke, as long as you get your ghost to the back of his base.
Hmm well Kerrigan did imply that Duke was the real tactician in the Dominion…
That's just a consequence of the CC being owned by a separate AI with no economy. You can do that with pretty much any off-color "Destroy this Terran Building" mission.
That seems easier said than done. Is there a way to get that ghost to the back of the base without dealing with a ton of missile turrets, spider mines, and science vessels?
@@agiar2000 Use Defensive Matrix on a dropship with some ghosts, and fly up from one of the sides.
The thing about the Missile Turrets around Mengsk's command center? They don't share detection to the AI defending it since they aren't the same faction. So... yeah, it's pretty easy to cheese once you get the Ghost back there and cloaked.

It is strange that sussy Duran disappeared in this mission, yet no one in the UED command wonders where he was. Maybe DuGalle and Stukov must be busy thinking about the Koprulu Sector domination speedrun, who knows lol.
Also Mengsk being so oblivious at 2:48: *I will steer my BC fleet into an attack course with the White base!*
Meanwhile, on StarCraft Alternate…
The time has come to decimate the Infinity Swarm's primary Hive, but while there will be little if any Infested Terrans to worry about, the Guardian air force is still going strong.
The two Pack Leaders leading the charge lose their forward fortifications to Guardians, but manage to repel them before Raszagal's Brood shortly joins the fray to assist them.
Eventually, Kerrigan is forced to retreat aboard an Yggdrasil before it's cornered by Zurvan's Kraken and a few flyers. But before they can execute and assimilate her essence, Draliska comes to her rescue (as much as he doesn't want to) aboard his own Behemoth and a bunch of Raynor's Wraiths before they all warp jump away.

I realized UED corporate with Antigan and orange team who allied with Raynor. I believe Duke and Mengsk forgot about magistrates who is behind this mission.

It's funny how the city look kinda small in the picture at the start of the mission. Then in just 4 years, the city grow much bigger, Mengsk utilized good his experience when he was a prospector.
I wonder how well 200 Ghosts would do vs 50 Arbiters. Or 100 Science Vessels vs 100 High Templars
I’ll take this as a tacit admission that Wings of War is the easy mode choice for invading Korhal.
As i expected, the map author did the impossible. Landing 5 Goliaths from a single Dropship.
Anyways, this is a better player placement than my version.
2:37 did we see a lockdown accident as unless Mensk is throwing out early Ghosts the only way that Goliath could get lockdowned was by friendly fire...
“Citizen” Mengsk eh? So maybe in his new life he was allowed to keep his Battlecruiser on the condition it no longer be named Norad III. The new name was one only Mengsk knew.
It became his most cherished possession, and on his deathbed his final words was repeating the name of the Battlecruiser, and no one knew what to make of it as said Battlecruiser was scrapped at the Dylarian Sheepyards. Little did we know Mengsk’s final words was on the Battlecruiser this whole time…for ROSEBUD was his Battlecruiser.

Been having a blast with my friends since we found out about this mod some time ago (Only had the original 3 campaigns back then) You guys planning on doing something similar for WC3?
Unfortuantely there is no 3 players Warcraft mod. 2P co-op isn't as good as I hoped as well.
