Cool! That was my first car, people really used to ask me back in high school why I drove an altima like it was a porsche😂
They drive really well
Shit my first car was an 03 w/ 3.5 and I would eat fox body mustangs ALIVE ... Shit was hilarious 🤣 people fail to realize it's got almost 300hp and only weighs like 3k if that. Plus it's FWD so less power loss through the drivetrain. As long as you can put it down without blowing the front tires off they are quick as shit for a cheap family sedan....very underrated.
Big altima energy
Nah
In a CVT yeah
Nobody questions the altima speeding and accelerating lmao
I like these older Year model videos you are posting, please keep them up!
Thank you! I love filming the older cars too
I have one exactly like that but automatic. I never have had a single problem with this car in 16 years / 95,000 miles. This is a strong and longlasting car if you take care of it and make the necessary Nissan services. I love this car. You can spect drive 250,000 or more miles with it.
That is very true!
Thank you ❤
Of course!
You'll never see an altima in that of good condition anymore, especially one from 2008. Hopefully its newest owner won't give it any bae.
I hope so too! It's mint for its age, and the engine runs like new. Hopefully it gets into good hands.
Thanks for your videos..Keep up the good content 👏 Dragy times don't subtract 1ft rollout..The 1ft rollout is in the bottom left hand corner..dragy runs are true standstill times
Hi! Thank you for the great feedback. Actually, RaceBox gives the true standstill times. Dragy doesn't subtract the 1ft for the 0-60, but does subtract it in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile times, hence why Racebox runs are 0.3s more in those disciplines.
@@DMCarReviews makes sense..thanks for the response
Thing moves and in 2008 that was very very quick
For sure! Even by today's standards, it's not any slower than your normal midsize sedan
@@DMCarReviews oh for sure, but I mean like in 2008 people actually would of said that is a pretty fast car since cars were not as fast as they are today
I have a 2010 6 speex nanual , Love it and its fast and fun , total differt than a automatic i had 😂
First 10 seconds I’m like wait a minute those highways look familiar and then you said Germantown😂 I work in that area so it’s really cool seeing a car review channel so close to me! Keep up the good work!!
Thank you for watching! It's really cool that you are from around here.
I got this car now
Nice!
I was looking to buy one of this but how much would you consider that you'll spend on repairs and how reliable it is?
They are very reliable! Need minimal investments.
i might gotta go check this out, i live 30 minutes from there
Definitely check it out. Really clean, healthy unit for a very good price. Just tell Samer (the manager) you saw the car on TH-cam. I'd really appreciate it!! Thank you for watching.
but lets get started *proceeds to get out of car*😂1:07
And?
@@DMCarReviews dam dude calm down
This looks fun. Imagine getting a 3.5 SR/SL with the manual though...
Lots of wheelspin incoming😂
@@DMCarReviews lol for real
homie chill you finna kill the CVT
No CVT here
You have a video of automatic Nissan Altima of this year
Not yet! I don't have a CVT version of this bodystyle on the channel
Sounds better then that Cvt
The CVTs are notoriously disastrous but how’s the reliability of manual 4-cylinder Altimas, generally?
I've had CVT Nissans, and never had any issues. Very reliable cars overall.
Great to know!
Why is the audio edited at 14:05 ?
Just for fun
My first car 🥲🥲🥲
The Altima was my first car too!
Haha I had the same one but 2009 SL and auto. Just about everyone drove these like they were bmws lol it's just a fun easy car to drive
bro where can I find a 6mt for the same altima
www.directautoaccess.com/
Have a great day God’s love you
Maybe the slower the car the bigger the difference, cause seen 13s cars doing comparisons and dragy only .02 or .03 difference for ET 1/4 mile
All depends on the car, connection, Dragy version, etc.
Is it better for the car to drive manual??????
Was that a yes ??
It looks much quicker without the cvt 😂
They have very similar times
@@DMCarReviews Dang. I had a 2011 for a month years ago and that felt dog slow to me.
@@Userxxx840Didn't feel slow to me at all.
Why does it have a R34 GTR shift nob
Great question!
@@DMCarReviewsappears to be the same shift nob minus the GTR logo lol
NISSAN
Bro let that BAE Flow through his blood. Fr though w a manual these are great cheap daily. I have an ser but even these w the 3.5 6mt are great cars, stay away from CVT 5th gen altimas
My first car was a Nissan Altima😂
It's not called the baby mama Hellcat for nothing
Lol!!!
3.5
?
3.5CC
@@mylifespoiled7575 No, 2.5L
man you really need to ring out 1st gear in manual cars my dude! You'll never attain a good 0-60 with underpowered cars if u dont
2nd gear is what matters here
@@DMCarReviews as much as i want to let that slide.... that is very untrue. Appreciate the reviews and the info you provide but you gotta work on that shift speed and optimal time to shift in the rpm range when it comes to manual cars. The launches in almost all the manual cars you drove are great however you ruin the forward momentum. Same with the z4 you drove, it's definitely a low 6 second high 5 second car but you managed a touch over 7 seconds.
Im not saying to powershift it and break something lol, just moreso constructive criticism to help you out :)
Looking forward to seeing your future videos my good sir
- sincerely from some random guy on the internet
@@shazmasterI'm not in the race to break records on these cars. I did sub 8s on cold tires, even mid 7s on the first run, so I don't know what the issue is. If you can do high 5s on an older Z4, I invite you to make the video. I'd love to see how it's done😊
@@shazmasterI do genuinely appreciate your feedback, and thank you for watching. I'm sure I could do better if I had more time with this car, but I only drive them 15-20 minutes so I don't know the optimal ways to drive the manuals in them, since each car is different. Doing my best, safely, to not break anything. Even if I did 0.2s better, it's not worth the risk or hassle.
@@DMCarReviews all good. That is true, I didn't take that into consideration you actually had the car only a little longer than the length of your video lol thanks for the response
The official car of driving on a suspended license and having an iq in the double digits.
You can say that about many vehicles
Good car but the transmission isn’t that good. My mom had one and the automatic transmission went out at 150,000 miles
This is a manual
@@DMCarReviews I know
lol bro it went out at 150 000 miles, thats pretty good for a cvt
I Have A 2008 2.5SL With 192k Miles Original CVT On My Channel.
@@J.Nev. They can run for very long!
