Got a used 2000 Polaris Magnum 500 with no lights working. Tapped into the high-beam switch after watching this and it works great. Thanks for the tips!
You light is your load (what’s drawing the power) and your battery is your power (supplies power to the load).
How is power the light bar and load the battery? I’m pretty sure it’s the other way around.
It is the other way around. He in wrong, but on a normal single switch like this, it shouldn't really matter.
Totally cool...sweet awesome job...Thank you so so much for everything that you do
Awesome job! What kind of light bar is that? Where did you get it?
Ah man I thought you meant a drinking bar at the back of your ATV for tailgate or woods party's but that is still very cool
Lol
Nice
Hey what kind of mount did you use in the hole for the switch?
great video
Load should be the light bar or you should get someone who knows what they're doing.
This video is wrong! I tried and my fuse kept blowing so I switched the power and the load and it worked!!
Word
Hey I need help wiring my light bar
You should have used a relay.
Buddy. You like coffee eh. Slow down on the talking man. Within 2 minutes youve said more than i do in a day!

Here's a pic of mine!
Here's mine [Oo=oO]
EVERY BODY IN THE COMENTS do not follow his instructions he said to put the power “load” to the light bar? Make sure you have a small fuse when you test the light bar out so you don’t burn the light bar out!!!!!
How do you pictures in the comments? 🤷♂️
Hahaha... paddle bit on plastic, no relay, oversized ring terminals.. LOLOL
U don’t need a relay if u go to the battery
You dont need a ground on dc
Devin Doiron negative, common, ground...all apply to DC.
@@kylerokitjanski7598 negative
Car batteries are connected to the frame of the vehicle and motor, from the negatives using ground straps. DC devices are connected to a DC-Common in industrial settings. Small electronics are about the only thing I have seen use positive and negative. I presume your an electrician?
This guy should not be installing anything electrical
That poor butchered up bike
So u ruinrd plastic by cutting huge hole and drilled through the rack u could have made a mount for that switch and found mounts for light bar
