Always worth checking the centre bearing on prop shaft it causes a similar issue if worn or the rubber mount has perished. I just changed my prop shaft it cured it.
what kind of scanner you used and where is the steering wheel sensor can you pleas film it or if you close by i'll take my rl3 to you to fix it i'm in Brooklyn tank you for posting
Need help I have Range Rover 2004 vogue The problem is that when I start car after firest gear it’s like stuck then two three times same problem Some times it’s fine working everything Or when I press break speed low down like fealing stuking As per machnic I change double gear Moter Transmission oil change Shaft change He fixed throw computer also but problems same Any one help me for this Thank you so much appreciated

Fettyseye1 - same issue. My 2008 Range Rover Sport Winchester model. Just bought it used from a dealer and they won’t cover any issues. Sure would like to know if there is a way to address without paying dealer repair.
Im sure the OP must have fixed or sold the car by now, but for others having this problem - Replace your shift linkage. Search on TH-cam, you'll find some videos on how to do it.

Hello, the Land Rover I own has an issue similar to this. The Rover would rev at gear 3 and when I accelerate it would jump getting to gear 4. I would like to try the steering wheel sensor calibration out, however I'm not sure how much a person should charge to get that job done or even where I would be able to get it done. Thank you.
You need a Bi- directional scanner. You can do special and functional test with these high- end scan tools. I like the Verus Pro scanner by Snap On Tools. Its a professional level scan tool. Its not cheap- but worth the money.

@@TheRealMrToxic usually a decent obd2 scan tool has a calibration option.
For those asking about how to do the steering angle calibration: get the e tool that does such tasks and follow the instructions on the screen.

I have a 2006 supercharged it does not shift rpms go all the way up. says gears may be limited faulty transmission

Unlikely, but if the ABS sensors were disconnected/damaged it is theoretically possible. You should have an ABS warning light on if they were damaged.
No change Automatic gear
That condition can be caused by a lot of different things. I would have it diagnosed and scanned for troiuble code

Snap on and you're looking at around 800-1000 dollars for the scan tool........ Used. New is about 3-5k Dollars.
