    I'm so torn between these 2: asus tuf VG249QL3A vs BenQ Mobiuz EX240. If my needs are: everyday Finance work (Excel, PPT, MS Office), casual PC gaming only (spiderman, call of duty, batman, GTA, CSGO & League of legends), some TV show & video watching - which one would be better?

    • @criticaltech7091
      @criticaltech7091  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Both the Asus VG249Q3A and the Lenovo Legion R25i-30 are gaming monitors.
      If you primarily play games and watch TV series, both monitors would offer a good gaming experience with their high refresh rates and IPS panels for better color accuracy and viewing angles. However, if you're particularly sensitive to motion blur during gaming, the Asus VG249Q3A's ELMB technology might be beneficial.
      Additionally, if HDR support and a slightly higher refresh rate are important to you, the Lenovo Legion R25i-30 could be the better choice.
      Consider your specific preferences, budget, and any other features you might prioritize, such as design, connectivity options, or additional gaming features, before making your decision.

      If you're looking for a monitor with more accurate colors and better image quality, there are several options available on the market. Here are a few recommendations: Dell UltraSharp U2719D, BenQ PD2700U or LG 27UK850-W.
      As for your current dilemma between the Lenovo R24i30 and an Asus monitor, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons of each before making a decision. If the hardware low blue light problem and shadowy black areas of the Lenovo monitor are significant concerns for you, it might be worth considering a switch to a different brand or model that better suits your needs.

    • @criticaltech7091
      @criticaltech7091  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Both the Asus TUF Gaming VG249Q3A and the Monitor Matos FIGHTER MSG25 are similarly priced monitors, so it's important to compare their features and specifications to determine which one would be the best fit for your needs. Here are some factors to consider:
      Check if both monitors use the same panel technology (e.g., IPS, TN, VA). IPS panels typically offer better color accuracy and wider viewing angles compared to TN panels, while VA panels usually offer deeper blacks and better contrast.
      Consider the refresh rate and response time of each monitor, especially if you plan to use them for gaming. A higher refresh rate (e.g., 144Hz or 165Hz) and lower response time can result in smoother gameplay and reduced motion blur.
      Compare the resolution and screen size of both monitors to see which one offers better image quality and viewing experience for your preferences and usage scenarios.
      Look for any additional features or functionalities offered by each monitor, such as adaptive sync technology (e.g., FreeSync or G-Sync compatibility), ergonomic adjustments (e.g., height adjustment, tilt, swivel), and connectivity options (e.g., HDMI, DisplayPort, USB ports).
      Take the time to read user reviews and feedback for both monitors to see what other users have experienced and whether there are any common issues or concerns.
      Ultimately, the best choice between the Asus TUF Gaming VG249Q3A and the Monitor Matos FIGHTER MSG25 will depend on your specific preferences, priorities, and intended use. Consider the factors mentioned above and choose the monitor that offers the features and performance that align with your needs and budget. If possible, you may also want to view both monitors in person or seek out hands-on reviews to make a more informed decision.@@sir3ebzzi564

      Of course, I'd be happy to help troubleshoot the issue with AMD FreeSync. Here are some steps you can try:
      1 Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with FreeSync.
      2 Check Monitor Compatibility: Make sure your monitor is FreeSync-compatible. Not all monitors support FreeSync, so it's essential to verify this.
      3 Enable FreeSync in Monitor Settings: Check your monitor's settings menu to ensure that FreeSync is enabled. Sometimes, it needs to be manually activated.
      4 Enable FreeSync in Graphics Card Settings: Open your AMD Radeon Settings or NVIDIA Control Panel (depending on your graphics card) and navigate to the display settings. Ensure that FreeSync is enabled here as well.
      5 Restart Your System: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve software glitches or conflicts that may be preventing FreeSync from working correctly.
      6 Check Cable Connection: Ensure that you're using a DisplayPort or HDMI cable that supports FreeSync. Also, check that the cable is securely connected to both your graphics card and monitor.
      7 Verify System Compatibility: Ensure that your system meets the requirements for FreeSync functionality.
      8 Test Different Applications: Try enabling FreeSync in different applications or games to see if the issue persists across all scenarios.
      9 Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to AMD or the manufacturer of your graphics card or monitor for further assistance. They may have additional troubleshooting steps specific to your hardware configuration.
      By going through these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the issue and get FreeSync up and running properly. Let me know if you need further assistance!

    • @criticaltech7091
      @criticaltech7091  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      When choosing between a 24" and a 27" monitor, it's important to consider your specific needs and preferences, as well as the capabilities of your graphics card, in this case, the NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super.
      The main differences between a 24" and a 27" monitor are typically screen size and resolution. A larger screen size, such as 27", can provide a more immersive viewing experience and potentially more screen real estate for multitasking. However, it's worth noting that a larger screen may also require you to sit farther away to maintain optimal viewing distance.
      In terms of resolution, both 24" and 27" monitors are available in various resolutions, such as Full HD (1920x1080), Quad HD (2560x1440), or even higher resolutions like 4K (3840x2160). Generally, larger monitors may benefit more from higher resolutions to maintain image sharpness and clarity.
      As for performance, the NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super is capable of handling gaming and multimedia tasks on both 24" and 27" monitors, especially at resolutions like Full HD or Quad HD. However, if you opt for a higher resolution or refresh rate monitor, it may require more graphical horsepower to achieve optimal performance in games.

      @@criticaltech7091 The problem with Asus that they have literally copied the old model and just added a 3A at the end so we'll be paying more money for the same old model.
      I'd rather go with Gigabyte because its actually an improvement over G24F (now it has a Panda panel instead of Innolux which makes it more reliable like AOC).
      And the difference between 165 hz and 180 hz is negligible, the sRGB of Gigabyte is more than Asus (125% vs 99%).
      The only risk of Gigabyte is that it hasn't been tested in the rough and not a lot of people have used this model.

      @criticaltech7091  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      When deciding between these two monitors, consider factors such as your budget, intended use (gaming, productivity, content creation), and specific features that matter most to you. Both monitors offer similar screen sizes and panel types, but the ASUS TUF VG249Q3A may appeal more to gamers looking for a higher refresh rate and additional gaming-focused features.
      Ultimately, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons of each monitor based on your preferences and requirements to make the best decision for your setup.
