This series was everything I loved about American comics from that era. I wish the recent miniseries was in there too, though.

Hi! I enjoy watching your videos, but recently I started thinking. You are probably one of the better channels who actually cares so much about comics. With your voice, I was wondering if you'd look at the Indiana Jones comic omnibuses? I've always wanted marvel to reprint them, but maybe with your voice, marvel would see that they still have fans who care about Indiana Jones.
I'm excited to complete this run!
Finally I can put this next to volume 1 and relax a bit with X-Men omnis... At least until November and Death of Wolverine...

I read several of these stories as single issues when they came out, and I remember not enjoying the art of Kordey in the slightest (22 yo me found the switch from Larroca to Kordey too jarring). I even stopped reading the X-Treme X-Men line due to this. However, after seeing Omar flip through this book, I don't think Kordey's art is as nearly as bad as I remember. Was considering skipping this omni when it was announced, but I think I will give this one a second chance.
Ps. X-Women was published in the UK by Panini as an European Oversized Hardcover. That's the best way to read this story.😁

Glad to see the last few X-Men omnis have been printed with the Donnelly instead of IMAK. I hope they can/will dump the IMAK asap, good riddance.
I have been waiting so long for this - was really worried when it kept getting pushed back.

Wow I forgot how much I hated Kordey’s artwork! Still, as a X-Men OHC completist, still a must-have!
I'm saving up for the Superman Triangle Era Omnibus. Hope there is an overview here.
I still have to check my collection every few years to remind myself that X-Women really exists!
Kordey art is definitely better here than it was in new X-Men which imo his art on new X-Men was a massive disservice to that story. But I'm still not a fan of his art & think it's a massive downgrade from salavdor art, which also means Claremont story telling will have to do a massive carry job for me in this book. I'm really bummed out that they didn't put the recent x-treme X-Men mini series in this omnibus which mean I guess I have to buy the tpb now😑.

I really wish they would provide the spine image along with the cover image when they put the book up for pre-order. Many of us pre-order our books and would have made different choices if we had prior knowledge. I know it's a nitpicky thing, but it does bother me. For instance, I pre-ordered the Avengers Busiek volume two omnibus with the Alan Davis cover. I only saw the spine when your video was released, way after the fact. I would have made a different choice had I known how ugly that spine was. lol
It's always good when marvel publishes these books. Gives me a break from buying.
Omar do you think eve of destruction will get rebranded as an omni in the near future? I feel like marvel used to release some books as ohcs which were stealth omnis and there's a lot of 90s/2000s x men ohcs that need to be reprinted/rebranded
I feel like I ask you this question alot.... so sorry in advance. But for the millionth time, when are we getting "X-men: Eveof Destruction" re-release it's impossible to find!!! So really all the mid stuff between xtreme vol & xtreme vol 2...

Hard pass, but grateful it exists. I bought and read Volume 1 and it kind of sucked and didn’t live up to its premise. Buuuut that’s coming from a Claremont hater and overall disliker of MOST X-Men comics.

X-Women was published at a time when fun was still allowed and publishers didn't worry about people who never buy comics losing their minds at the sight of an attractive woman.
Come on, Omar. Storm the Arena is basically drag/club kids culture on steroids.
Claremont and Igor Kordey WAS cooking and we were oblivious of it.
