Great job Omar! Larry Hama is one of my favorite writers of all time, I strongly feel his stories(particularly GI Joe)really helped shape me to become the person I am today. Thank you Omar and thank you Mr Hama!
I just came across this interview. I literally met Mr. Hama this past Thursday at NYCC. What a gracious man! He played a part in my childhood and in some small way influenced me into becoming a fireman. What a great story of perseverance and making the best out of perceived negative situations. Now by GOD'S grace, he's still alive to receive his flowers. I'm currently re-reading his IDW run of G.I. JOE. Bravo to you, Mr. Hama!!!! Looking forward to what comes next. I think I'm going to track down your Wolverine run.
Great Interview. I haven't read a G.I. Joe comic but I enjoyed the animated series when I was a kid and I have enjoyed watching Renigades and Sigma-6 animated shows also...
I just wish he would be given another book for a long run. He is the king of the long run. Marvel should commit to a longer series with Larry writing. I am so happy to see the GI Joe Compendiums coming out, and getting Larry's run on Wolverine in omnibus form is something I had given up on expecting but it is gradually happening.
The man, the myth, the legend Larry Hama. He was my childhood, from GI Joe to Nth Man to Wolverine. He will always have a special place in my heart.
A LEGEND AND A MASTER. We are blessed to hear his thoughts and stories. Thank you for bringing him onto NMC, Omar.
Love Larry Hama. His wolverine run was the best of the best.
Great interview! Thanks for all your great work Larry!
