Hey Dr. Doug, it's me DéAnna; Jericho's owner. Just wanted to let you know that Jericho passed away about 3 weeks ago. Thanks for giving my boy a shot. You were awesome.
And to those so concerned about Jericho's weight... My dog had GI issues his entire life and prior to this he lost 13lbs. Pretty big deal for a Lab his age. He walked every morning and evening for over a mile. So for the internet vets.. there's your information.
DeAnna, I'm SO sorry to hear this! I can't imagine how heartbreaking Jericho's passing must be for you. I do want to thank you for sharing him with us! Such a beautiful boy! Take care, dear!
Hi DeAnna, thank you for your clarification and comment.
I'm so, so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your family.
Yes, I think, people can be pretty harsh, commenting from the side lines about Jericho's weight. For some reason, I saw more of that on this video, than usual. I try to stay positive, but some people feel they have to get their needling two cents in. Shame.
I am grateful that I got to meet Jericho six weeks before his passing. He really stood out for me, and I will always remember his loving, and enthusiastic spirit. I wonder how all of the judgmental people will show up on their judgement day. Will they pass the test, when they have to step on the scale? Even if they can successfully, step on the scale of the "physical", how will they do, when they step on the scale of the spiritual which is measured in empathy, love, and tolerance. I wonder.
Why can't people see the love?
That's all I could see. I re-watch this video and I see amazing owners that love their dog from the first day, all the way thru. You and your family are a blessing and example to me of unconditional love. I'm moved to tears thinking about your love and commitment. Bless you, your family and of course the "puppy" Jericho!!
Jericho crossed the bridge, enveloped in a cocoon of love. Happy and singing his barking song. What a gift our pets are for us... more that gifts... they are teachers!
They show us what's possible.... can humans ever truly love unconditionally? Do we feel so compelled to judge, with little to no info? Our pets "Love" without an opinion, without conditions.
Jericho is my teacher. Thank you Jericho!
I love you Jericho!
thank you, for reminding me what it means to be a human!
@@vickieturner8688 Thanks Vickie! It means a lot to see your compassionate, comment!
I’m so deeply sorry for your loss!! It’s so hard losing a beloved fur baby!!! You have my deepest condolences!!!
I am so sorry, I have such a huge soft spot for labs. He was clearly in his loving family. He was a very lucky dog. I do send lots of love and light to you ladies. You did really great by him. Good job!!!!!😘😘😘
Rest in peace, Jericho. He knows how much his family loved him and that they did everything they could.
Everything but place him on a diet.
@@claymac7895 13 is pretty darn old for any large dog man.
@@claymac7895 Being a pet industry professional, I’ve noticed that it’s very common just like in humans that senior dogs and cats become overweight due to diabetes, arthritis (effecting mobility, arthritis is one of the conditions Jericho had as mentioned in the video), and many other things like metabolism slowing down, etc. you get the point. & the opposite can also happen where there’s weight loss. Until you are perfect, do not judge someone else’s imperfections. & that means never, because you will never be perfect.

When someone comes waddling in, limping in pain, and leaves wagging and happy, you KNOW you found the spots! What an adventure filled life this old boy lived!
Yes! Thank you!
It’s very difficult to find a Doctor who is any good, or who shows results.
✌️😊🙏
The way Dr Doug explains everything that he's doing and even speaks to the furry patient is heartwarming.
Jericho seemed happy with the treatment! He was a good boy. ✨
Yes, amazing!
RIP Jericho. You could tell his owners loved him a lot and he loved them. You could tell he got some relief from the adjustment .
I'm glad that Jericho probably got some relief in his last days. He was such a sweet looking guy. I'm so sorry to the family, it makes me cry thinking of how much they will be missing him. Animals are the best parts of our families !
If you are crying over a dog, then i cant imagine your emotions towards the starving children in africa. God bless.
If you're crying over someone else's elderly dog passing away you may want to seek some professional counciling/therapy.

Sweet old boy, Jericho! He’s clearly in a lot of pain, being an old arthritic myself, I fully empathize. I appreciate your respectful way of asking for permission prior to treatment. I hope future treatments will help make this old boy’s sunset years more comfortable.
Awww thanks Elsa!
What I really liked is the owners listening to the doc, and being quiet, calm, respectful all whilst still showing their dog love, help and tenderness
Jericho was just a sweetheart. Deep down I felt he knew you were trying to help him Doc. I happened to read DeAnna’s post before commenting and it’s heartbreaking to hear about Jericho’s passing. I’m sure he was a big part of their family.
❤️
Thanks Cal. You are so kind and sweet, too.
That dog 100% knew you was trying to help him and he thanked you after, so sad to hear about him passing 🌹 you did brilliant job doc 🥰
It takes a gentle blessed and gifted human being to do this. You’re an angel. God uses you to help those who can’t help themselves!!! MADE MY DAY💙💙💙
So sad to hear of Jericho's passing. He will live forever here on YT. 13 years is an excellent amount of time to have such a large dog. I lost my dog in July after 17 years together. He was a small dog. Always remember the good times when you start to get sad for missing them ❤ Thank you Dr Doug for making his final weeks a little bit more comfortable. He knew you were all trying to help him 💕
So sad…usually bigger dogs don’t live that long. That’s why I always go for smaller ones.
Jericho is a sweetheart, and his pet parent is just as sweet as him! Thank you for helping him
Yes, you can spot animal lovers a mile away!
Thanks, Kiko, his parents are terrific!
I’m barely watching this a year later…I got sad when I seen a comment saying r.I.p & I started to read few comment & got sad & started crying…dogs /animals have a special place in my heart even tho I might not know them when they cross the bridge…R.I.p to all the animals that have crossed the bridge❤!!
It’s critters like Jericho who leave paw prints on our hearts. It was good you gave him some relief from some of his pain/discomfort while still with us, Doc. As always you rock with your kindness to our four legged friends.
So sorry you lost your old friend a lot of people dont understand what its like to lose your dog Im sending you big love from Scotland ❤
4:42 adjust atlas...heard that crack... Jericho integrated that adjustment by yawning. 6:27 jiggle and hold a tight spot,...sort of like a massage. 8:12 another good click on the lower left, 9:05 adjusted T1, Doc asks Jericho can he still keep working on you and Jericho responds at 9:17 with a lick to Doc's Face.....also known as a kiss....acknowledged as a YES. 9:55 T6..Got it. 10:43 a tender spot lower back...crack. We all heard that one too. 11:40 Doc is on a spot and Jericho says oooh oooh oooh.... that is T11....12:36 Jericho consents to continue and adjust T 11 by barking yes....13:10 Got it. 13:12 Jericho gets up quickly and decides that is enough... They all notice that he gets up and moves a lot faster. Doc adjusts a few more lower spots. 14:43 Jericho shakes it out. 14:55 Jericho gives Doc his farewell KISS. Jericho gets into the elevator and barks goodbye as the elevator closes on his END.
Thanks Josette, I love how you participate, and give so much. This time I pinned DeAnna's comment to the top of the scroll. She informed us that Jericho died, 3 weeks ago. We filmed this about 2 months ago. Please read her comment. Much love to you and your family, Doc!
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen Painful loss on every level. He looked like a very loving animal. Will say a prayer that God helps them during their time of sorrow.
Lol some people have lots of time but to each their own
It’s so hard to watch our dogs get old. Jericho was really struggling coming in but after you worked on him I could see some improvement. I bet he slept well after that session and probably with a lot less pain than he has had in a long time. I hope he comes back so you can work on him with your magic hands again.
Jericho passed away 3 weeks ago. Please read DeAnna's comment at the top of the scroll.
I love how grateful all the animals are throughout the treatment! So cute!
I'm so sorry to hear of Jericho's passing! So devastating to lose a family member! My favorite take aways from this video is how Jericho keeps looking at DéAnna with so much love and trust. He was and is a very good boy!
dog knows he is being helped
I hope so!
Sorry for your loss DeAnna. Jericho actually lived a good long life for a Lab (average is 10-12 yrs) and he was lucky to have you invest in making him as comfortable as possible.
Awww old man Jericho may not have been too sure about parts of the adjustment (had to have his say about the proceedings) but even his owners noticed some immediate improvement! I know Dr. Doug always says that it's a process, not a procedure, but I do love seeing those quick little leaps forward, too! Great work!
Thanks, I feel this was a good treatment for Jericho, I appreciate the ongoing support my friend.
Doc
What a sweet dog. You can see how much his owners loved him.
I send hugs to you Dr. Doug and Jericho’s loving family.Watching this video and seeing the improvement in Jericho’s ability to get to his feet and walk from the opening scene to his post adjustment movements was dramatic. He looked so much more stable and his tail wagging was wonderful to see. I applaud this loving couples desire to make the old puppy’s quality of life more comfortable and you Dr. Doug for your gentle loving care. I can tell he had a good long life. God bless you all.
Thanks Judy, you are so kind and supportive.

This one hit me hard but in a goodish way.
Thank you, Dr. Doug for giving Jericho and his family the gift of your talent. His walk across the rainbow bridge was that much happier and vigorous because of you.

Labrador Retrievers are probably the sweetest, most loving breed of dogs out there. If they are raised with kindness and love, they will be sweet forever. And yes, I understand that is pretty much the same with all breeds, but Labs are just really special to me.

Hi Mom, it would be nice to meet. you next time you are in NYC!
I saw my chiropractor today. He adjusted my neck all the way up to the vertebrae C-1. My reaction was I yelped! LOL.
I really can’t see enough of your videos. I wish I could put more than one thumbs up there are several times I watch the same video for five times. Thank you for what you do. Please stay safe and God bless you and yours.♥️🌹🐾🐾
That is awesome!
Glad you got a good adjustment for yourself.
Thanks Pamela.
I'm giving you 10 thumbs ups!!!!
13! What a grand age for a doggo from such a rough beginning! A huge atlas crack and big yawn, and Jericho calmed. What sweet eyes, full of love for his parents! Another good crick lower down, a nice lick and relax moment. That breathing can be indicative of a heart issue as well. At his age, not surprising! C7/T1 actually made him smile! He was very into the little changes in his body! Tail wagging more and more with the ouchy thoracics getting returned to center, ahhh. Biig flow disruption at T11 bringing some barks, but it will help get that low back stronger! Pinched sacrum shift already helping him move more easily! Yay Jericho!
❤️
Dr Willen, it was very nice 👍of you to help Jericho to get better and while you were doing the adjustments, explaining everything you were doing. The way you are around animals, ask their permission as well your people patients, it’s really amazing, no wonder everyone who you work on loves you cause you’re really awesome 👏. Poor guy. Weight is the biggest enemy of my fifteen-year-old border collie retriever. He gained weight over the pandemic and acquired hip dysplasia. He wouldn't move and wouldn't eat.
