Thinking of all the overworked and undercared for donkeys on this planet...every donkey well treated is a blessing. Such beautiful, mostly misunderstood creatures.
Donkeys are really wonderful animals. Intelligent, thoughtful, protectors and lovers, they're the full package. Thankyou for caring so much for those in need ❤
Dawn is having deep thoughts. Awesome job Dr. Doug! I love how gentle you were with her. Very sweet! I’m sure she felt much better and relaxed after her adjustment. 😊
Hi guys, field sound professional here. Sounds like the radio is being crushed by his body movements. Can I suggest a trick (if you don’t mind the mic on camera)? Put it on the brim of his cap, and run the wire down the back of his neck to the Tx on his lower back. Use the pressure of the hat to hold the wire in place across his head to the back. Ensure to leave a small loose coil to allow for body movements and so the plug doesn’t get damaged. Having the mic out the front with a little wind protection will give you a nice even level and a lot more freedom in post to deal with issues.
Three times yawning 👌She has her way to express herself. I yawned too... Gee... It's really contagious. Always good things coming from you Dr. Willen 💎 Still yawning 😴
Cute moments when Dr. Doug brushed away Dawn’s bangs to see her eyes. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing this adorable donkey’s adjustment and yawning afterwards! 😅
Aw Dawn! What a beauty. I hope they trim her hair over her eyes so she can see more of the beauty surrounding her. Great adjustment Dr. Doug and Dawn didn't try to kick you once - she must like you and how you respected her.
Thanks, Doc. I'm sure Dawn appreciated all you did for her. She sure showed it in the end with the licking and chewing and the yawning. All great signs that the adjustments you did made a huge difference for this rescued donkey. Considering how long they can live, anything we can do to help them is a definite benefit to them. Best Regards from your friend, the Retired Paramedic, and a S&R Dog and Handler Team Trainer and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖 💖🇨🇦🇺🇲
You‘re absolutely right! and I‘m glad you could watch this one Jennifer! This relief was amazing! how good the parasympathetic nervous system was working! Thanks for sharing Jennifer.
“Had a bad life, now has a good life”😎 She’s cute but maybe a little 😈 too. Doc puts himself on the line often to do this. Looks like it was a great adjustment for her, big yawns at the end.
Beautiful Doc!! I love donkeys!!! Sweet little critters!! You can totally see her relief in her eyes!!! I love it when they lick and chew!!! When I give my Abby her stretches she totally goes to sleep. Her bottom lip starts to droop. When she does that I know she's totally relaxed!! 😀😀😀 What Joy seeing Dawn get a release!! She's got a great Chiropractor!!! Oh, no worries about the sound!! Still a great video!! God bless, Doc!! Bridge
Dawn is such a well behaved burrita. She enjoyed her session so much that she couldn’t stop yawning. Nice sound effects, Doc, after pulling the tail. LOL! Thanks for sharing your work with your furry patients with us.
I love watching the animals get adjusted. I think you do amazing work Doc. I wish you were closer to Michigan because I would definitely bring in my Dachshund and my mom’s Lab that is old and is having problems walking. Thank you for sharing and have a safe and happy 4th!
Dr Willen, you did everything that there is for Dawn. Some of the cracks were really loud and Dawn let us knew it with her licking and blinking 👍. Dr Doug, you really have hands of gold, you feel every single thing with your hands, you’re brilliant and a master at what you do, you’re just awesome 👏. I’m sure she’s happy and got the relief, anyone in her place would be thankful 🙏, especially when when Dr Willen is the one who’s visiting the patient. Have a nice week and happy 4th of July, Independence Day doc💥🎇.

What a sweet video. You're right Dr Doug it is a very relaxing session. I think she was trying to communicate with her ears. At one point they were vertical then parallel and then up and down lol. Her bangs could use a trim. They look like when I tried to trim one of my kids bangs only my kid look like what I call Frankenstein bangs. I took her to the beauty shop 😮. Thanks Dr Doug for all you do. ❤
I love it . . . blink if you would like an adjustment? 😁. You make me smile Dr Doug and Yes, I want an adjustment. The various animals you work on in these videos always look so much happier when you are finished.
