As a massage therapist, I see many clients with sciatica. Many about to get surgery, but thankfully, after the second session, there's no need for any surgery. People helping people.
@@MaiPoirot it is a service and it's their job so they deserve to be paid for their time. My mother-in-law is a massage therapist over 35 years now and deals with a lot of people in lots of pain ..she does a lot of free sessions for family and friends out of the kindness of her heart.
Maybe that could help me. Orthopedic doctor says he can't figure put what's wrong. I've had MRIon my back, hip and pelvis. I've been in pain 4 years now. Numb leg . Feels like a vice grip on my side around illiac crest. I have a cutaneous nerve growing through my hip bone. I feel like I may have fractured my hip and that nerve got tangled in there a couple days later. I slipped and feel on spray starch overflow on a tile floor. 2 days later I couldn't walk!

@@flavacreations sitting long periods without stretching or being active is what caused my sciatica issues. Could that be the same for the people you know?
I'm really suffering at the moment and I feel really low, just exhausted 🥺 it makes me feel a bit better knowing there are people out there that know how this feels 😢
I know what chronic pain is like. I have been suffering with chronic pain from multiple sources for 17 years now. I have been going to the same pain management for 15 years and I can tell you that without this pain management I don’t think I’d survive. I go for regular nerve ablation on my lower back and my neck every six months. Pain does literally rob you joy and I thank you for your comment on this post🤗
This makes me so sad. I feel her pain 100%. I ended up in the emergency room two weeks ago. I went to the chiropractor and he said I have a herniated disc and I needed to do stretches so I used the back of my couch to get on the floor and do my exercises. My back seized up on the way down and I couldn’t move at all. I called 911 to get me up and get me to the hospital. Leaving the hospital, I still couldn’t walk but they did X-rays and I have degenerative disc disease, arthritis in my lower back, a herniated disc and the disc is pressing on my sciatic nerve causing the same pain she has, except my back was spasming on top of it. I HIGHLY recommend doing back strengthening exercises because it has nearly gotten rid of my pain completely after being bed ridden for 3 days. Take care of yourselves guys. It’s incredibly important. ❤️
It's unbelievable she didnt get an MRI. She can barely walk. Anyway, with such a severe case, I'm not surprised that she will need several sessions. I wish her a speedy recovery.
OMG! This poor lady! This took me back to when I was dealing with this same issue, only not as severe. The pain was unbearable and I honestly thought she was going to pass out. I wish that I would have known about this type of decompression “ringer dinger” when I was in the midst of it. Wishing her much success and relief from the pain.
@@mikemike2627 steroid injections in my facet joints. I injured myself 19 years ago giving birth to my daughter. Was never the same again and any wrong move would send me into a tail spin. Sneezing, coughing, bending, etc.
How are you now??? How did you Fix your problem of sciatica I also have this problem along with lumber canal stenosis 😢😢 I’m just 17 years old. I don’t know how I’ll be leaving my life
@@Hargun_cheema I had many sessions that involved facet joint injections with steroids. Steroids are not good, long term but I needed a quick fix because I had little little kids that I needed to take care of and did not have any family support. PT also helped as well as a chiropractor but he did not do ringer dingers.HTH. Good luck and hang in there. I saw someone hang from a pull up bar at a playground and just let their legs hang to decompress their spine. Seemed to work too. Maybe you can try that. Also, I read that sciatica can be caused by low magnesium levels. Maybe have those checked out and eat more foods with magnesium.
I have 3 herniated disk and I was walking the same way she was, now I own an inversion table and it has restored my back and I can walk and my back is straight. All I did was use it for 5 minutes upside down, 3 to 4 times a day and I also recommend sleeping on the floor instead of your bed until you're fully recovered from your pains, and able to walk again normal. The inversion table can be a teeter brand or they have other brands which cost less. I've had it for years and I still use it to this day and I guarantee you it really works you just have to be serious about a quick recovery, and stick with it.
How are you feeling now ? Is your pain has got better? Are you able to walk fully and completely? Because I am also facing this problem from last seven months I am just 17 years old
I was like that for 6 years! Some days I couldn't even straighten up. Couldn't sit, couldn't stand, couldn't drive without aggravating it, stairs were out of the question, and a lot of times my hip/leg would just buckle on me and down to the ground I'd go. MRI, CT's, shots, chiropractors, physio, and still every medical "expert" (that insisted I needed a pin in my SI joint) missed it. Then a chance meeting one day with a spine doc who said "sounds like classic pinched sciatic nerve. Come see me in my office and bring your xrays and scans". A week later, he confirmed what he said. A few days after that, he performed surgery, and I walked out of that surgery center upright, not limping, pain free, and have been pain free now for 16 years. For those asking, my hero was Dr.Pipkin New Braunfels Tx. (YT keeps removing that part).
I just got out of the chiropractor’s office today and I have to say my chiropractor is wonderful. He has kept me from shots. He has kept me from having surgery. I believe in chiropractic medicine I think it’s wonderful.
Oh no so sorry I feel her pain. I had that pain for 3 months I could not walk I had to depend on my family to help me which was very humiliating. I cried everyday. Nobody could help me I bare that pain without medications I have prescribed meds. I boiled fresh ginger and tumeric and bayleaf as well as cloves everyday and drank it 3 times per day also had mssages and did exercises from YT from a physio therapist and finally little by little I started to walk I prayed a lot too and I slowly star6ed to feel better I could not afford to go to Chiro or PT could not afford it. The excercises from the ones on TH-cam helped me alot my leg still feels tight and my ankle is painful because the pain ran down to my ankle! But I am still doing my exercises. Praying that I never get this pain again.
Don't fear. Just remember your body is "over reacting" right now. Muscles take time to "calm down." Definitely do your research, reach out to a chiropractor or a physical therapist. I did pt. Just be patient. Back injuries take time to heal. Another thing I did (I had SI joint dysfunction) were body weight hip thrusts. For my condition I was convinced that exercise alone healed my back. But I got diagnosed first. I hope you find relief, don't despair. Get help, it does get better.
Awwww..poor girl!😭😭 I feel for her, big time...I had a laminectomy/discectomy for this crap & luckily it worked...rehab sucked a bowling ball, but thank the Lord I'm all goody now!🙏 I pray she gets back to normality soon & lives pain-free!🙏🙏🙏
18 months ago. Bulging disc at S1L5 pressing on sciatic nerve. So glad I had the opp.1 year of pain getting progressively worse. Did the chiro; PT etc. Nothing worked.
I’m currently in Hawaii for a month and we are halfway through our vacation and I’ve been unable to walk because sciatica is so bad. It goes down the front of my leg and under my knee like a rope from hell. My physical therapist told me to do nothing but try to walk a little bit every day, otherwise lay down, tilt my pelvis up to flatten my back, and relax until it calms down. It’s been 2 weeks. I want to cry being stuck in bed and not out enjoying this island. Sciatica is pure wicked.
I’m in such pain just watching this I broke out in tears. Man do I understand her pain. My 1st ever chiropractor is going to see the X-rays of my hips and spine then start treatment to help straighten my problem out. PT and a PT masseuse have helped but only relieving the intensity of the pain. The leg actually will give out while I’m walking. Sadly mine is from an altered gait from a failed foot surgery. I’ll need chiropractors the rest of my life possibly on a monthly basis.
I was in the ladies situation...could hardly walk. I was able to heal my sciatica by simply walking in place at home. I tried to avoid sitting as much as I could, and every chance I got, I walked in place and did knee ups. Within a few weeks, it was healed, and i haven't had any issues.
Chiropractors are often not respected in the medical community. However, regular adjustments can help alleviate stiffness and pain in our bodies, which can lead to other ailments and discomfort in our daily lives. I am grateful for these doctors.
That i told to my misses i went two times to emergency department i cant sit i cant wolk i was on my knees they give me strong pain killer muscles relief tablets wich didnt work absolutely i have muscular spasm every 20min.and just one pill help me alot GABAPENTIN 300mg i was all week on this 2 times per day now is second week and im on 100mg 3 times per day.i can sit, driving car,do some exercise, house work ... 9:04
I agree! I’m 66 and have been experiencing severe pain in my right side starting at my hip and going to my foot. My foot tingles constantly and I’m barely able to walk. Heat helps a little bit the pain leaves me shaking.
I back in 2002 was left in pain and had to go on medical leave. In 2008 I had three disc in my neck replaced with cadaver disc and rods and pins. After my neck was better but had pain in my lower back which turned out to be arthritis in my tail bone. My pain doctor was an anesthesiologist and some of the best advice was that he tells patients that are overweight to go on a diet. He said this not being rude he was giving medical advise. I went on a strict diet of none of this none of that and 30 mg of cholesterol a day. With meat portions the size of a playing card. Three meals two snacks. I lost 80 lbs and he was right on when he said my back would be better with less pain.
Great work Doc, Your detailed communication with the client is industry leading and then the way you execute each technique is awesome. I can feel that you’re very passionate about your work. Well done 👍
Currently going through this. I feel for her and the way she winces as she takes a step then tries to hold on to the wall to keep from falling! I had it so badly that I crawled for three days and was bed ridden. I started walking and stretching more yesterday and today and I’m feeling like my old self again. Still in pain but getting through it day by day by the grace of God! I give Him all the glory!!!!
WOW that was a great video! I wish I could come to your office to help me with my piriformis sciatica. But I'm doing better with all the exercises that I'm learning from all the good Chiros and PT therapists on TH-cam! Thank you for posting this! 💙
Oh man, do I know what that feels like. The bent posture, hanging on the walls, eww. The chiropractor saved my sanity. Amazing results. I hope she experiences the same results I did. 🎉
My husband had sciatica really affected him. He went to a Dr that does epidural injection and it was a miracle for him . He goes every 6 months. Sometimes he doesn’t need it done again for 6 months … but he was like his old self . Amazing .
As someone who also found those to miracle workers at first, I have some input. 1- it does more harm than good long term, especially over 35. 2- they do stop working over time. After almost 4yrs the shots barely lasted 3 weeks, so I stopped doing them. Physical therapy and things like this, decompression and stretching will benefit more long term before the impact of those injections kick in. I wish I had known then that I was damaging my body. There's a reason why FDA to this day has not approved them. It is not treating the problem, just the symptoms. Stretching and Physical therapy work miracles for sciatica if you remain consistent. Now I'm worse off than before and looking at spinal fusion surgery. I know it helps now, but please consider looking into alternatives so he doesn't end up like me.
I agree..shots..no way! I believe they are steroid shots...my daughter did shots and is so sorry she did! ( also a friend did..same result) They made her gain 60 lbs. She was thin and now its so hard to lose that weight
Me too. L4/L5 lumbar fusion. Before that Surgery I had Sciatic Pain that was beyond suffering. Soul Crushing pain 24/7. No sleep, purple eyes, barely drive, barely walk. Crying out to God. After the Surgery, I woke up and the Pain has never been back. Thank God for Anesthesia and Surgery!
God bless her, I know how much pain she’s in and how bad it hurts! While my journey with chronic back pain started 45 years ago, it intensified significantly when my first fusion (L5-S1) resulted in permanent nerve damage in the balls of both feet. The best I can explain the pain is that it’s like stepping on shards of glass with each step. After 12 years I just had the stimulator put in last week, hope it helps. I’ll be praying for you ma’am, hope you get the relief you need!
You have my sympathy 5/12/23 I've been on crutches to stand up for two months sat on the sofa 24/7 could not lay down or slept with pain went down to one crutch managed to lay down and sleep now walking slowly now to build muscle back up in my leg
Bless her heart! I've had sciatica and I could barely walk. It is so painful! Oh feel for her! I had to use a walker to get about. I literally couldn't straighten up! Thank God for Gabapentin! I didn't get any of this kind of help!
Gabapentin? Is that a medicine? I can’t walk almost 10 days now 😢 i’m a mom of 2 so it’s very make me sad i can’t take care of my boys 😢 please reply this comments i need answer
I use ashiatsu very slowly, glide over connective tissues and help ease into Myofascial Stretchin and repattern pain pathways with contraction while holding the restricted muscles. Nerves and brain are a big part of the releases as well as pattern changing. Mindful. Bless this woman snd the therapists.
Wow!!! I relate sooo much!!! I had to use crutches I hurt sooo bad!!! It’s aweful!!!! I wish I knew what does this! Like strength exercise or something! It’s crazy!
This woman is in good medical hands. She could do with some mobility aid like a walker to alleviate her pain whilst going to her physio. I have had MRI however nothing was showing up to explain the reason for my inability to stand and walk without pain in glutes, groin and thighs. I rely on a walker to stand up, and move inch by inch. When trying to stand up I feel like my thigh and groin ligaments are ripping apart. Doctors have stated that I just need to keep walking, which is causing me unbearable pain. I rely on OTC meds and take one day at a time. I hope this lady recovers soon as there is nothing worse than chronic pain and not knowing how to make the pain go away, kind regards
I underwent loads of alternative treatments for severe sciatica. An MRI revealed advanced stenosis and that I required emergency surgery because CES was likely imminent. Now fully recovered. It also really helped me when I lost 30 lbs.
I ve been doing Soft wave treatments for my Siatica pain. I can guarantee after your knowledge about the adjustments after you were done and then used this machine on her there would have been NO pain. The thing is amazing I wish the acupuncture Dr who is using it on me had your knowledge about adjustments. I would be healed already!!! He told ke the machine was expensive to buy and use but it’s been a huge benefit for himself!! I hope you look into it!
I had to complete six weeks of physical therapy before my doctor would order an MRI. The doctor would not count all of the initial visits I had with my chiropractor as being part of physical therapy. Once I completed the MRI I was then permitted to contact the pain management professionals in my area. Sciatica is a tough one to beat. Do not give up on yourself. ❤
Always ask for a new MRI , I had ruptured disk and no amount of pain management, chiropractor or PT was gonna fix it. I feel every little pain this lady is in
I feel for her! I've been going to physical therapy for a couple of months. I walked in just like that. Now I can walk half normal most of the time. My doctor wouldn't do an MRI because she just didn't believe me. My PT has given her a recommendation that I need an MRI, so maybe she will believe him. I want to find a good chiropractor next!
I hope she feels better, i had sciatica(, a nerve pinched )i could not take the pain, crying from tingling and numbness.. Got a Ct scan and a MRI done.. surgery next day..I feel so much better, im praying for this lady🙏🙏🙏❤️
I feel the pain. I was in agony for a month, some days really bad while the rest looked promising only to get worse. I ended up getting hernia laproscopic done. I was discharged the next day - it was a success but not only was the medical bills so expensive but i was depressed becos i felt helpless. Now i resume normal work but im giving myself forever not to carry or do heavy stuff/work. I can’t bear the pain & certainly can’t afford paying for another expensive medical procedure. I just hv to be very careful from now on. Take care everyone!
I am hurting from that at this moment 😢 very painful, pain, tingling and numbness down my leg. It's so painful and keeps me up at night , cause it hurts to turn At the end of the day I am so much in pain and tired from limping. Can't do the things I used to do...😢
Chiropractors are an amazing miracle!! Believe me, I know. I have fibromyalgia and 2 herniated disc's in my neck for years. Phds write scripts and not help with the pain. You crawl in to see a chiropractor and literally walk out!!!
Had this stuff for 3 months! Finally had an MRI, then surgery to remove a cyst, no more pain to walk, but the back is not great…..no real pain like before, but 8 months after surgery my back is 75% of what it once was? I didn’t want surgery but I was at desperation mode.
I have had severe sciatic for years. My last episode i lost feel in my foot and the skin on my lower leg. I started reforming my musle memory and concentrated body stretching and posturing movements for the last 3-4 years. The numbness may never be corrected but, i am in less pain and my body posture is better.
Omg I feel her pain, I was out if town for 3 months. I woke up one morning with the worst pain of my life. Nothing helped muscle relaxers pain meds, nothing. Had an emergency MRI and was diagnosed with spondylitis. I'm waiting on surgery with a neurosurgeon. I got 4 different opinions and all said 99.9 of the samething. I can walk better now but any sudden movements are excruciating.
I went for acupuncture. Helped some. I’m doing Kaia Health, a virtual PT app covered by ins., targeting my hips. Just got a Piraformis belt/strap-helping, ordered a psoas thing, to roll on to relieve the knots. Glute squeezes, pacing, working while standing, & pretty much given up desserts, to reduce sugar, which causes inflamation. Glute squeezes are the most helpful. Standing & sitting exercises, & laying on your stomach, lifting your leg helps.
Sciatica hurts like hell but it pales in comparison with a messed up sacroiliac joint! Well it did for me. Took a while to get over it even with numerous Chiropractic appointments!
I'm looking just like her right now. Holding onto the wall, table tops etc. . Where do I start with getting help? Do i just pick a random chiropractor? I havent had an MRI or anything. My symptoms are exactly like hers. Damn.
I've had severe sciatic many times. MRIs just give a doctor to prescribe you pain meds. All that does is mask it. The chiropractor is the way to go. I agree with X-rays, though. I go to the chiropractor twice a month. I haven't had an issue in a decade.
I had pain meds but they didn't even mask the pain, I was on tramadol and they did absolutely nothing for me, I was just lucky and the nerve freed itself eventually but it lasted for about 2 months
I love my chiropractor, but when I had painful sciatica a couple of years ago, I went to my acupuncturist. Gone in 4 visits. I read that the first application of chiropractic in the US was for sciatica. They got it down!
OMG, I feel for this poor lady! I just had emergency lumbar decompression surgery and a lamenectomy. I had a 9mm disc protrusion L4,L5,S1 The worst pain I've felt in my life. I wish her well.
I had it a year ago when I locked myself out of the house and had to climb over my 6' tall fence to get in through the back door at 65 years of age. I used the garbage can and some bags of mulch to get up, but had to jump down from the top of the fence on the other side and fell on my back. The sciatic nerve pain was so bad I wanted to die. Couldn't sleep at all for 3 nights as there was no position that would make the pain easier. I was totally exhausted, but have 15 pets that want to be cared for. I didn't know there is anything as bad as sciatica. This has to be the worst pain a human can go through. Like this woman, every movement hurt and took my breath away and walking was pure torture. I also was at a chiropractor to get some relief, but he made it actually worse, putting me through extreme unnecessary pain that didn't help one bit. After 4 days, everything was gone. I actually finally fell asleep with pain and woke up without pain. It was like a miracle and I still don't understand today what happened that night. Not wishing this to my worst enemy. I also had the same thing happening in my shoulder and arm just a few months later and it was just as painful like the sciatica and once again I couldnt find any position without pain that made me fall asleep. Same thing, 4 days later it was gone just as sudden as it appeared. Now i have it again in my other leg from lifting up heavy equipment in my yard, but thankfully only a milder form. I can sleep as it doens't hurt very much after a day long of movement, but after about 5 hours of sleep I wake up from pain. It gets worse during the night, but gets better during the day when I move around. Now watching all the youtube videos i can find and try this and that. This time i have it already for several months and it doesn't seem to go away at all, but I can function, it's not the bad one i first had when I fell of the fence.
I have had broken bones on oh hands multiples time and dislocation my knee. Never experienced so much pain like the pain I have on my buttock, sudden painful muscle contractions - worst pain in my life. 😢 nothing seems to work
That getting up from laying down position sucks the first 4-5 days before getting an adjustment. Sitting down to poo, wiping. Walking.. can’t even laugh or sneeze.. I’m glad she’s getting the help she needs
I have chronic sciatica. It started 3 years ago on the left side. I've had 3 steroid injections. The first one actually worked but wore off after 3 weeks. The others failed. I have arthritis in a few discs which causes serious lower back pain. I've tried prescribed medication for the sciatica pain but nothing touches it. Panadol Osteo give relief from my back pain. Last ditch effort I went to a chiropractor. By sheer luck I found the only chiro using cold laser therapy as part of his standard treatment. I had 7 weekly sessions where all he did was use the impulse instrument and cold laser therapy. I was completely pain free for about 3.5 months. It was magic. It was as if I'd dreamed that pain. I don't know what I did to cause it to flare up again but being pain free is a thing of the past now. The worst pain is in my foot. Under the foot on the outside of it. Depending how bad it is affects which shoes I'm able to wear.
Man, i feel her pain. This condition has to be the worst pain i have ever felt in my life. I had this and luckily it went away after some physical therapy but man it was rough to go through. 🙏
I have bad sciatica. I could barely walk and put my foot on the ground and to get out of bed I had to roll over on my stomach and push myself off like a baby would do. So I went to the Dr and he just told me to ice it up and take pain killers. I've been doing some stretches that help and it goes away for like 6 months and comes back.
Chronic pain is horrible.. I dont wish it on anyone. This treatment is a bandaid..she needs an ortho, a good neuro and Cervical, thoracic and lumbar imaging. I wish her well on her journey
I feel her pain. I’m going through the same way she’s suffering and the way she walks all uneven & off balance & you can’t even sit. It’s horrible pain. I had to plead, beg, demand an MRI, even after my insurance company told my doctors office that it was covered. After seeing the MRI, my back is a disaster. I’m surprised it’s acceptable to work on her without one.
I had similar issues in December 23 & January 24 spent the week in the hospital. I thought my spinal cord stimulator was shocking me. I was walking, moving the same way she is. Except I couldn't stand, sit, or lay down. I sympathize with her. I'm better, but not at 100%. I had home therapy. For a while. I can't get traditional chiropractor care because of my spinal cord stimulator & multiple neck fusions.
@brendaferebee8282 I received my SCS 6 years ago in St. Louis, MO, the doctor that did the surgery is no longer practicing. Just don't use a person by the name of gurpreet padda! His office is on the top floor of his building. This man is a money grubbing fool! Be careful & good luck.
Oh my bless her!!! I know that pain very well. When it first started with me I had access to a chiropractor at my job who had an Air-flex Flexion & distraction table to where after minor adjustments on back and hips while lying on the table on my stomach he would turn the table on to slowly pump my lower legs up and down for about 10 minutes to pump out inflammation & after about 3 sessions i would be good. Also, I would take over the counter BackAid Max in a blue & yellow box that was a game changer. Now, starting in 2021 I started taking supplements from an online Wellness Company that in the matter of roughly 3 days back pain was gone, sciatic pain let me go & and I'm just so thankful. Many blessings to her and prayers for complete healing.🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
I know how she feels. Hurt at work. Did regular PT. Get a TENS unit. It does help temporarily. Next they sent me for different injections which did nothing. Then onto surgeon. Ordered Water Therapy PT. Did help with strengthening but didnt get rid of symptoms. Approved for back surgery. It worked. I have a long road of continue Water Therapy PT.
Wow , the difference before and after . As a professional masseuse working in spas for a v long time , the best I could do was fascia massage, hot stones and very careful strokes to help muscles body & mind relax . I’d literally beg the clients to go to a chiropractor.
As a massage therapist, I see many clients with sciatica. Many about to get surgery, but thankfully, after the second session, there's no need for any surgery. People helping people.
This sounds reassuring. When I stretch I feel relief so i can imagine having massage therapy. I don't want surgery.
It's no "helping people" like is out of generosity, it's "paying people" out of money

It's surprising he adjusted her without an MRI or X-ray. Unless I missed it that he did. What if she had a fracture or something
Me too
My insurance won't do an MRI without completing physical therapy first.

@@Hargun_cheematry sleeping on the floor for a few days, that may also help, it helped me as mattresses and beds can cause this pain I believe.
Good job ❤ I hope for your full recovery
I am so worried I can't walk for pain. Used to walk two miles every day with my dogs. I keep crying with fear.
Thank you so.much

That is very lucky of you, i cant walk almost 10 days now pain as hell 😢😢

Chiropractors are often not respected in the medical community. However, regular adjustments can help alleviate stiffness and pain in our bodies, which can lead to other ailments and discomfort in our daily lives. I am grateful for these doctors.

Epidurals can help with pain. I often see patients that have had multiple procedures and don't experience such results
I agree..shots..no way! I believe they are steroid shots...my daughter did shots and is so sorry she did! ( also a friend did..same result)
They made her gain 60 lbs. She was thin and now its so hard to lose that weight

God bless her, I know how much pain she’s in and how bad it hurts!

I tried everything for my S.I. joint pain, it wasn't until I got a steroid injection that I got relief. game changer!

OMG, I feel for this poor lady! I just had emergency lumbar decompression surgery and a lamenectomy. I had a 9mm disc protrusion L4,L5,S1
The worst pain I've felt in my life.

Chiropractors are SO important!!!
Hi there. Where did you get your SCS, and where were the leeds placed?, if that's not too personal.
@brendaferebee8282 the leads are in my spinal cord canal.
@brendaferebee8282 the implanted battery is in the right side of my backside.
